Hello, Sam here. Today my Patreon passed the 50€ line for the first time, I already thanked all my subscribers but I want to give my thanks publicly too. Probably I would have given up months ago if it wasn’t for them.
First of all… woah, 56€, I know that people would read this number and say “that’s nothing, what are you going to do with something like 60USD?” And my answer is that those 56€ are more than just their intrinsic value, to me, they’re hope. They’re not the light at the end of the tunnel by any stretch, but they’re the tiny sparkle in the dark that leads to that exit. This is worth so much more than its economic value could suggest.
And so here we are, 7 months in and with the first treshold passed (the final milestone is 1000€ if someone is wondering about it XD) now that I’ve this tiny level of autonomy I’ve the intention to uphold the values of reciprocity and spend a few of these money to fuel the endevour of other people, in this case, I will contact an artist on Fiverr to draw illustrations of my characters for an upcoming novel that will be released in the next 10 days (if the System wants), but I’ll probably ask them to make an illustration for Aradra and maybe Velen too. In any case the illustrations will be only for my patreons since they’re indirectly paying for them.
After having said this, I want to thank also those free readers that likes the chapters, rate the novel and leave comments! Every little form of support matters!
