After Dressing Up As a Little Fulang

Chapter 59 - Song Wanwan (1)

Before An Yun stepped through the door, listening to Zang Ya’s praise, he had a rough idea of the store in his mind, thinking it should look magnificent inside. But after he stepped over the threshold and saw the scene clearly, he was stunned and even subconsciously took two steps back.

The moment An Yun took those two steps back, a delicate vase was thrown toward the direction where he had just been standing, hitting exactly where he had just landed. If it hadn’t been for those two steps back, the vase would have hit An Yun.

Seeing the shattered vase, An Yun felt a little scared, but Zang Ya had already looked inside with a bad expression, his eyes narrowed slightly, and there was a dangerous light shining in them.

An Yun sensed that there was some danger and that he had to leave, but his nature for gossiping prevented him from doing so. Instead, he wanted to see what was going on inside.

He saw a girl in a pink skirt throwing things around in the store. She threw whatever she had on hand, regardless of where or whom she threw it at.

It wasn’t until she got tired that she put her hands on her hips, looked at the servants she had brought, and said directly, “What are you still doing? Didn’t you see that I was being bullied? Why don’t you losers hurry up and help me? I want justice! Let me tell you, I, Song Wanwan, have never been so angry. Usually, when I want something, it’s not me who cries and begs for others to give it to me. This time, how dare you refuse to give me jewellery despite repeated order? Who gave you the courage?”

This was, of course, a matter of course. If it hadn’t been for the broken porcelain pieces scattered around her and her domineering demeanour, people who didn’t know better would have thought she was the victim.

Originally, when the young lady had started smashing things, the shopkeeper stayed aside and did not dare to interfere. He just hoped that she would be happy and calm down soon.

But soon, he heard that this ancestor actually wanted to ask her servants to help her vent her anger. With such a few big and thick men, their store would be destroyed in just a few days.

The shopkeeper had a bad feeling. After hesitating for a moment, he stood up and bowed to the young lady in front of him, wanting to ask her to show some pity. “Young Lady Song, just now I was too blind to see the truth, and I annoyed you. Please, your Excellency, have a heart and let our shop go! I am willing to give you some compensation, and I hope you will accept it.”

The girl squinted at the shopkeeper, who was keeping his posture very low, snorted through her nose, and said in a bad tone, “It’s not you who robbed my things, so why do you come out to apologize? Even if you want to apologize, you don’t need to come.”

The implication was that she would not accept the shopkeeper’s apology unless the person who had angered her came out.

Hearing Young Lady Song’s words, the shopkeeper felt extremely embarrassed; his face became a little tangled, and his eyes darted to the side.

Over there stood a girl in purple clothes, who looked to be about the same age as the girl in pink.

But compared to the aggressive girl in pink, this girl’s face was much calmer. However, listening to the words of the girl in pink, she still felt a bit embarrassed.

Seeing that the girl in purple didn’t move, Song Wanwan, wearing pink, snorted coldly, her tone full of disdain, “It seems that some people are still unconvinced and refuse to even apologize. I think you all need a lesson. Wait, I know who you are, and I’ll take care of her after I deal with this stupid shop.”

The girl in purple was Song Lin’s sister, Song Ningxiang. She had ordered a set of hairpins here half a month ago, which were meant for her sister’s wedding dowry. Who knew that the set of hairpins was so well made that when the shopkeeper took it out to her, the evil spirit had taken a fancy to it and insisted on letting her have it.

Song Ningxiang couldn’t accept it, and the shopkeeper had also tried to make peace with the situation, but it was said that this young lady must have it, and when she didn’t let him, she started to cause a ruckus.

Song Ningxiang felt quite unlucky at that moment. If she had come to pick it up earlier, she wouldn’t have suffered such humiliation here.

When she received the shopkeeper’s look for help, a bit of conflict showed on Song Ningxiang’s face, but she finally gritted her teeth and walked out, ready to apologize to Song Wanwan. Song Wanwan knew her, and she also knew Song Wanwan. She realized that her family could not afford to offend her, so she had no choice but to apologize.

When Song Ningxiang came out, the maid next to her pulled her back, obviously not wanting her young lady to go out.

Song Ningxiang patted the arm of the maid beside her, approached Song Wanwan, pursed her lips, and said in a sincere tone, “Young Lady Song, I was wrong this time. If you really want that set of jewellery, I am willing to give it up to you, and I hope that you will forgive me this time for the sake of our surnames.”

Song Wanwan looked at Song Ningxiang, who had come to apologize, sneered, and then raised her hand, hitting Song Ningxiang when no one could react.

The sound of ‘pop’ resounded throughout the store, and no one present expected it.

Song Wanwan’s slap was so strong that Song Ningxiang’s head turned to one side, the hairpin on her head fell to the ground, and she almost lost her balance and fell.

“Who gave you the courage? Do you think that just because your surname is Song, you can become a relative of my family? You don’t even know who you are. You are just a loser with no money!”

After saying that, Song Wanwan raised her hand and slapped Song Ningxiang again, catching her off guard.
