Chapter 62 - Mine (1)
An Yun had bitten Zang Ya out of anger, but he had only used a little force, gradually relaxing afterward.
The anger lasted just a few seconds before dissipating, followed by the return of his sense.
An Yun felt a twinge of fear. While it was one thing for Zang Ya to bite him, he worried about what might happen if he were to bite Zang Ya back.
He knew Zang Ya had never been known for his good temper, and the image of Zang Ya whipping someone replayed in his mind, making him even more apprehensive.
“Why, no more bites?” Zang Ya’s slightly confused voice came from above his head.
An Yun raised his head and looked up, finding Zang Ya staring intently at him. The expression on his face hadn’t changed much, but there was an element of interest in his eyes, as if being bitten hadn’t been painful or bothersome at all.
Though An Yun felt this was inappropriate, he couldn’t help but recall a saying he had heard: ‘when you were weak, even your anger seemed to come off as being coy.’
Suddenly, he felt this was far too bullying, but rationally, he knew he couldn’t provoke Zang Ya. If he did, he would be the one to suffer if Zang Ya became angry.
“Fine, if you don’t want to bite, I won’t bite,” An Yun said, still feeling a bit angry. He glared at Zang Ya, his tone sharp as he tried to reason with him. “Why did you bite me? I didn’t provoke you. It hurts when you bite like that!”
Having just checked the spot where he was bitten, he hadn’t had time to pull up his collar. Zang Ya turned his head slightly, catching a glimpse of the jade-white skin and the tooth marks that stood out starkly under the candlelight.
The bite mark on An Yun’s body was abrupt, like a muddy mark on fresh snow, yet Zang Ya felt a surge of satisfaction, as if he had claimed a part of An Yun.
Zang Ya reached out and touched the skin in that area, causing An Yun to shiver.
An Yun looked up at Zang Ya. His earlier accusations against Zang Ya’s actions had been a way to highlight his wrongdoing, but as he met Zang Ya’s gaze, he noticed a glimmer of excitement and satisfaction in Zang Ya’s eyes.
A sense of shock washed over him.
An Yun felt a bad premonition and wanted to retreat, but the dressing table was pressed against his back, leaving him no place to hide.
“How about I bite you deeper and let it stay forever? Marking you?” Zang Ya suggested.
Once he left his mark, An Yun would be his.
Hearing this, An Yun’s eyes widened in disbelief. It had already hurt painfully enough from the initial bite; what kind of pain would a deeper bite cause? Would it even leave him intact?
He feared his neck might be bitten off entirely. Looking up at Zang Ya, he saw the seriousness in his eyes, realizing he wasn’t joking.
“No, that hurts too much! I’ll die from the pain!” he exclaimed.
“Just be patient. It will be fine soon,” Zang Ya replied.
After saying this, he seemed ready to continue his earlier actions.
Even though An Yun couldn’t understand why Zang Ya had suddenly become so erratic, he knew he had to stop him. If he didn’t, he would be the one to suffer.
An Yun’s mind spun rapidly, and he even felt that his brain could never be that fast again. Finally, he thought of something, pushed Zang Ya away with both hands, and said loudly, “Wait, you can leave a mark for me in another way.”
Zang Ya’s lips had already touched An Yun’s skin. He knew that An Yun was afraid of pain, and he also knew that what An Yun said then was just an excuse to make him stop. He had originally thought of continuing to complete his work regardless of An Yun’s wishes. But he heard An Yun’s voice getting louder and louder.
“Wait, I’m not lying to you. I really think we can find another way; don’t do this.”
Zang Ya stopped, then stood up and looked directly at An Yun, waiting to hear his next words.
An Yun saw Zang Ya stop and couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief. Then he looked up at Zang Ya and advised, “You know about tattoos, right? It will leave a better-looking mark. If you bite like this, what should I do if I get bleeding and infection? How about we do a tattoo, and you can choose a pattern you like?”
The tattoo would also be disinfected and wouldn’t be that painful. No matter how he thought about it, he knew which option was better. After weighing the situation, An Yun still chose this method, which was better than biting.
When An Yun said this, his tone was a little cautious, even a little coaxing. He was really afraid of Zang Ya. If Zang Ya was allowed to bite like this, he would probably have to bite off a piece of meat to satisfy Zang Ya.
Zang Ya listened to An Yun’s words without saying a word, just looking at him in silence and not revealing what he was thinking.
An Yun couldn’t guess what he was thinking. He just felt that if he couldn’t persuade Zang Ya, he would probably let someone hold him down and have his way. He gently tugged on Zang Ya’s sleeves and, with a hint of weakness, whispered, “Really, it hurts me when you do this. Besides, it really doesn’t look good.”
At that point, tears welled up in An Yun’s eyes, making him look even more pitiful.
Zang Ya looked at the tearful beauty under the candlelight and stared at him for a long time before finally giving in and letting go of him slightly. “I understand.”
Feeling Zang Ya let go of him, An Yun’s eyes lit up.
Zang Ya gently stroked the place where he had bitten An Yun with his hand and said calmly, “I will choose a good-looking pattern for you.”
An Yun raised his head and met Zang Ya’s gaze, pursed his lips, and said nothing.
