(BL) I just wanted to take a break, so why the script changed?!

Chapter 11 – Vincent is sick!

Klaye waited for a while, but Lex didn’t come back. In the end, he reluctantly left.

On the way up to his room, he ran into Howard again. His face darkened, he couldn’t believe his luck was so bad!

„Hey! You don’t need to look at me that way, I don’t touch owned meat.” he smiled meaningfully and left.

Klaye’s mind turned blank. What meat?! Why I couldn’t understand anything?!

Once he went back to his room he was shocked. There were more bags than he remembered. He checked them and there were clothes he liked but didn’t buy... He sighed and looked out of the window. He really couldn’t understand this world anymore...

During the next week, Vincent left early and worked until late. The others didn’t dare to relax after knowing how dangerous the world would become and helped out whenever they could.

Klaye wanted to help too, but he was always rejected. In the end, he went to look after Egbert. His fever didn’t want to go down. Klaye used this chance to learn, he remembered his promise and wanted to be able to take care of Vincent without mistakes.

Sometimes Suzana came over and they went to play around in the city. Her excitement faded away after some days and wanted to go somewhere else. She wanted to slip out, but Klaye told it to his grandfather. He was extremely angry and closed her into her room for a week.

There were more and more sick people. Even in Future city, their number reached 375 after a week and 48 died. In their villa, next to Egbert 6 more guys were sick. Between them were Kaid and the young servant, Roe.

The fever was different to everyone. The longer it took, the lesser was the chance to wake up. On the other hand, if they woke up later they got a stronger ability.

Lex and the others who came here to look after them didn’t get infected. It was hard to find out how the virus spread. They knew it was in the water, but they needed to drink, so they couldn’t evade it. Some people needed longer time to become infected and some seemed to be immune against it.

Klaye’s life was peaceful. He heard some gossips about Gardena’s disappearance, but he was sure Vincent didn’t let her run that easily.

After 9 days Egbert finally woke up. He was a little confused and tired, but after hearing about everything he wanted to work. Lex was angry and dragger him into their room. He was bedridden for the next 3 days...

Klaye felt that Lex was too much. Egbert just woke up and making him to ’work’ so hard... He sighed and hoped Lex would be infected, but days passed and he was as energetic as ever.

Klaye followed Egbert and helped out in the kitchen. He tried to help with the cleaning, but it was always corrected by some servants and he gave up.

One afternoon he ate his late lunch with Egbert. There wasn’t anyone else just the 2 of them.

„Could you gave me the...” Egbert started to say, but he didn’t need to finish it. The salt flew into his hand.

The two sat there shocked. They didn’t understand what happened.

Egbert put it down and tried to move other things too. He became focused and even used his knife to cut the meat on his plate.

In this world, the abilities didn’t activate after waking up. Sometimes it needed a day, sometimes weeks. But in the beginning, they didn’t even know about the abilities existence until some people accidentally used it.

Klaye remembered about his shitty ability and watched Egbert with envy. Psychic power was extremely rare. He was so focused on it he didn’t realize someone sat next to him.

„Smells good. What are you eating?”

Klaye suddenly turned and saw Vincent holding his hand and use his folk to taste his lunch. His face became red and he just opened and closed his mouth without saying anything.

Vincent leaned on his shoulder and sighed.

Klaye noticed something wasn’t right. Vincent’s hand was too hot. He touched his forehead and became nervous.

„Servants! Vincent is sick!” he shouted.

Egbert jumped up and tried to support Vincent to stand up.

„Just take me back to my room!” Vincent said to him then looked at Klaye and strongly held his shirt. „Don’t forget your promise!”

Klaye nodded and patted his back.

Vincent’s fear eased and a faint smile appeared on his face before fainting.

Some servants helped them to bring Vincent up to the sixth floor.

Klaye’s chin almost fell when they entered the room. It was 3 times bigger than his! And there was even a bathroom! He knew that as the protagonist, Vincent would always get the best but he still felt hurt. It was unfair!

They placed Vincent on the bed.

Klaye didn’t think that it would be so hard to move him. He sighed and in the next second, some clothes were placed in his hands.

„I help you change his clothes, but the rest is up to you!” Egbert said and the other servants left.

It wasn’t Klaye’s first time seeing Vincent’s body. During summer they gathered in the Warburton’s villa and it had a pool. They played there and swam a lot... At least the others. Klaye just enjoyed the view with shining eyes while he drooled.

He tried his best to help to remove Vincent’s clothes. But the more he touched his body the redder his face became. He left that his head would explode.

In the end, Egbert did the job while Klaye watched them.

Vincent’s muscular body, that evenly suntanned skin... After a while, his brain stopped working.

Egbert waved in front of his eyes. „Hey! Are you here? Why are you drooling?”

Klaye came back to his senses and realized the ’feast’ ended. He felt a little disappointed but remembering from now on it would be his job, he drooled again.

He heard the door were closed and realized Egbert left them alone.

Klaye sighed and sat on the edge of the bed. He slowly touched Vincent’s forehead and caressed it.

„Really... Why do I become so stupid when it’s about you?”

He couldn’t understand himself. Before he was able to hide his feeling well. Even if he stood in front of Vincent he could speak with him without losing control over his emotions. Nowadays he blushed so easily and his thought became so dirty! Sometimes he really wanted to bury himself!

Maybe after he realized Vincent was reborn and knew about his feeling he felt relieved. Seeing him treating him the same way as before and looked at him without disgust on his face he didn’t felt that he needed to hide anything anymore.

He hid his feelings for too long and suddenly letting them out they were too strong and easily affected him. He needed some time to calm down, but he was sure, he would be this stupid in front of Vincent from now on. He’s too crazy about him.

From the beginning, he knew Vincent just played with him, yet he made that promise. He got a little warm from him and it tied him up. His brain knew it would be the best if he ran away, but now he didn’t need to follow his script so only this time he wanted to choose his ending. If either way, he would have a brutal death, then let him choose the one who would kill him.

Once he saw Vincent sleeping on the couch. He was afraid he would catch a cold, so he wanted to place a blanket on him. In the end, he didn’t have the courage and asked a servant to do it.

Klaye leaned closer to Vincent’s face. „That woman said that I kissed your forehead when I didn’t even had the courage to lay a blanket on you...”

He leaned closer to Vincent’s neck and sniffed it. The scent made him confused. It was the same as his shampoo... An old memory slowly emerged in his head. Some years before they went on a trip up to the mountains. Sometimes they slept in tents, sometimes in timber houses. At that time he had the chance to see the shampoo and shower gel that Vincent used. After they went home, he went out to buy them. He didn’t liked the shower gel, but the shampoo had a really good scent. He ended up using it until now...

Klaye facepalmed. I can’t believe I forgot such an important thing!

He lay on Vincent’s chest, closed his eyes and listened his heartbeat. It calmed him down and he fell asleep.

After a while, he woke up because his legs were numb. He slept in an awkward position and almost his whole body hurt. He couldn’t sit up, he waited for the feelings to come back into his legs.

Klaye watched Vincent’s sleeping face and sighed. „You know my feelings yet you let me do this job. Aren’t you afraid I'll take advantage of you?”

He sat up and after he was sure his legs were okay he went down to get their dinner. He swore to do a good job, so when Vincent woke up he could ask for a reward.
