Curing My Loneliness by Becoming a Summoner in Another World

Ch. 15 – Damien’s Story

Ch. 15 – Damien's Story

After leaving the Guild hall, they went to the inn and got a table at the tavern for dinner, before heading back up to their room.

Aurora fell asleep immediately in a chair. Betty wanted to go take a bath, so she went to start filling the tub.

Bluey fell face first onto the couch again.

Damien looked around, realizing their sleeping arrangements could get awkward. We only have one bed. Should I offer it up to Bluey and Betty and sleep on the couch? I feel like they might not like that, though... “Are you sleeping there again, Bluey?”

Bluey looked up at him. “I wish I could sleep in your lap again.”

Damien thought for a moment, then sat down next to her. Gently laying Bluey down so her head was in his lap, he gently brushed her hair.

Bluey seemed immediately contented, letting out a soft 'Huwaaaaah' and breathing softly.

“Good job today Bluey,” Damien whispered.

“Mmm..yhmmm...thanks Master...” she barely got out, before falling asleep.

Damien smiled as he watched Bluey fall asleep, gently replacing his lap with a pillow. As he was watching her and thinking, he heard a 'pssst' behind him. He turned around to see the bathroom door cracked open, steam being let out.

Betty was there, her face poking out. She whispered, “Do you want to take a bath, too?”

Damien thought for a moment. “Yeah, I could use one after today,” he whispered back. “I'll get in when you're done.”

Betty blushed, “I meant with me...” she trailed off.

“Ah...” Damien replied. After a moment, he quickly walked over to the bathroom and slipped in.

Betty was sliding into the tub, letting out a sigh of relaxation.

Damien quickly undressed and got in next to her. The circular tub they had could probably fit about three people (maybe four if they were all Betty-sized), so they had plenty of room.

Betty blushed as she looked over at the naked Damien. “I...I thought this would be a good couple's activity.”

Damien raised an eyebrow. “Are you...”

Betty looked down, “I wanted to do it again, but it's hard when everyone else is always around.”

Damien nodded, having thought the same thing. Bluey hadn't mentioned anything about 'mating' since they left Silaro, but he wasn't sure how Betty was feeling regarding it. Well, until now.

He poured some soap into his hands, and reached over, rubbing Betty.

Betty didn't seem to want to put on appearances, immediately leaning over and making out with him.

Damien grabbed her sides, pulling her on top of him to make kissing easier.

Betty grabbed his member, barely able to keep hold of it in the soapy water, rubbing it furiously until it was hard.

“You wanna do it in the tub?” Damien asked. “I could lay out a towel...”

He got his answer as Betty sat on top of him, taking matters into her own hands as she slid herself onto his member. Gently sliding herself up and down, she started kissing him again, wrapping her arms around his shoulders to keep herself steady.

After a couple minutes of slow grinding, Damien felt himself about to burst, so he grabbed her hips and started pushing her harder onto him.

Betty gave a small 'eep' as he pushed one last time, emptying himself into her.

After a few moments to regain their breath, Betty smiled and kissed him once more. “You're so amazing.”

Damien chuckled, “No, you're amazing.”

Betty giggled back. “I think we're a little crazy.”

Damien nodded, “Well, I do feel a bit lightheaded...”

They both finished washing and dried themselves off, before donning their undergarments and quietly getting into bed.

Betty cuddled up next to him under the covers, laying across from him. “Um...”

Damien blushed, “What, do you want to go again?”

Betty shook her head. “No, er...not right now, I mean. I was hoping you'd tell me about where you came from. You said it was a long story and wanted to wait until later.”

Damien grimaced, “Oh yeah...”

Betty seemed concerned. “It's okay if you don't want too.”

Damien shook his head. “No, you told me your story, so I'll tell you mine.” Where should I even begin though? I guess with the events immediately before meeting the Goddess. “I guess we can start with right before I came here. I was living on my own, and I had lost my job, been kicked out of classes, and was about to be kicked out of my apartment, too.”

Betty's face got clouded, “Yeah, I can see why you were able to relate to me.”

Damien gave a wry smile. “Well, the worst part was I couldn't find my pet cat Muffin. He had probably run away, since I couldn't afford food.”

“Was that your first summon? Even before Bluey?”

Damien shook his head. “No, Muffin wasn't a summon. I guess that's why he left, to find someone who could take care of him better.”

Betty had a small tear in her eye.

“I was feeling down at that point, so...I prayed, and offered up my life in exchange for Muffin to have a better one.”

Betty nodded, as if this made perfect sense.

“Then I went to sleep, and I...uh...” Should I really tell her I met a Goddess and traveled to a different world?

“I'd ask that you not. At least, not yet,” came a voice in his head.

Goddess! Wait, why don't you want me to tell her? Will she be confused by me traveling worlds?

“No, that's fine. I meant the part about meeting me,” the Goddess replied.

Why? Aren't you the Goddess she prays too!? Actually, I wanted to ask, did you set me up with Betty?

“No, I merely...helped you two meet. Everything else you two did was your own doing,” she said, trying to sound serious, but was obviously giggling in his head. “Besides, you two seem quite happy together.”

I am...we are...I'm just...I don't know where I was going...

The Goddess giggled in his head again, before continuing, “Just leave out the part involving me for now. I don't want her faith in me changed.”

I don't like lying to her though...

“I understand. I just ask you to wait a bit. You'll know when the time is right to tell her.”

Well, okay...

“Well, I must be off again. Talk to you soon!” and the presence of the Goddess in his head was gone.

Damien blinked a few times, then realized he was staring at Betty still, who was blushing.

“Um, if you changed your mind...” Betty said.

Damien shook his head, “No, I just...needed to ready myself. After I prayed, I was transported to this world. I used to live in a different one.”

Betty, instead of being shocked, seemed to be pondering. “Are you a high-level Wizard? Or a Sage? Normally people don't just transport worlds like that.”

Damien took a second to comprehend her response, but then replied, “No, I'm definitely a Summoner. In my old world, magic didn't even exist. Well...not that I know of at least.”

Betty nodded, “Well, I'm glad you came. At least someone from another world likes me,” she said, squeezing Damien tight.

Damien chuckled, “I'm pretty sure other men would too, but I'm glad you're with me.”

Betty blushed again, before leaning her head up to kiss him. “I'm curious though...what was your old world like?”

Damien thought for a moment, then launched into a rambling explanation, thinking of things that might be interesting to explain. Cars, planes, traveling to space. He didn't even bother trying to explain the internet (not that he fully understood how it all worked to begin with).

Betty's eyes went wide at each explanation. “Wow, that's amazing! Your world sounds so cool!”

Damien chuckled, “I could say the same thing! Using magic, summoning creatures, invoking the powers of a Goddess...even things like being in an Adventurer's Guild is fun.”

Betty giggled, “I guess if it's what you're use to, it feels mundane...”
