ALL NOVEL Storm
It took Alex three weeks but he finally raised the [electrosis] trait to T6 and so it was finally time for him to unlock the thunder element. Just like when he unlocked his fire element Alex flew far out into the sea as well as high above the water and confirmed his choice. Immediately he knew that he had very much miscalculated. The new element didn't fuse with the two basic elemental abilities he possesses but rather directly with his [mistosis] trait. His blood felt like it was boiling and his skin , muscles and scales shifted and twitched from the strain being put on his body.-
There wasn't any clashing between the elements but a sort of aurora colored energy left his body and immediately the weather changed dramatically. Lightning flashed and the winds howled while waterspouts formed rampantly around Alex. Rain fell in a great deluge and tyrannical and unforgiving pressure began to fill the surroundings as Alex's aura grew by leaps and bounds until it seemed to almost physically manifest around him. Once the fusion was complete Alex was left panting and tired while his aura still remained beyond his control. -
The new fused element was one that the guild had records of which was found in only a single known species of elder dragon in the world , Shantien. This element was known as the storm element or as the system called it [Tenshou]. It was a unique ranked trait making it the first of that kind that Alex possess. Even more shocking was that the trait itself immediately started at T7 even thought the water and thunder elements that were part of it were only T6. Much like the name of the element suggested it was an extremely wide range element that directly changes the very weather itself in a huge area.-
Alex didn't lose the abilities he had gotten from [mistosis] but rather they have evolved even further into the current form of power that courses through Alex's body. Unfortunately there wasn't only good news in this event as Alex now had three serious problems. First was that his body was barely able to contain this new power and was on the verge of collapse. Second was that his aura was now out of control from growing faster than he could keep up with. The third was that he had to allow his body to vent off the storm energy which was causing a several mile area around him to be in a violent hurricane.-
He could suppress the release of storm energy in exchange for damaging his body the longer he does so but his aura was a problem for returning to astera. 'Nothing I can do about it , I'll let the commander and admiral know that I need to go away for awhile to fix this.' he thought with a sigh before heading back towards astera. He held back the storm energy and could only wince as pain wracked his body. -
He tried to bring his aura under control as well but the best he could do was limit it to an area of three meter around him that contained shimmering air as if heated. Alex made sure to only fly near the meeting area that the admiral and commander usually were which caught their attention. They had serious expressions when they saw the blood dripping from between his scales and the intense look of struggle in his eyes. "Whats going on sid?" the admiral asked sternly. 'Something went wrong with my latest adaptation and I can't control my own power right now, these injuries are from trying.'
'I don't have much time so listen closely , I must leave for an unknown amount of time so if you think you need me follow the storm.' Alex said before growling a little from a sudden spike in pain as a vein burst in his left claw. The admiral patted his chest above his heart "Don't worry sid we've got this so take care of yourself , and remember I'm ordering you to return alive got that?" he said seriously. Alex nodded and flew far into the distance and released his control stunning the whole of astera as a violent hurricane appeared out of nowhere in the distance.
