Denial, Blood of The Fae

Chapter 41: Chapter 41: The Boss Battle

Raven hummed a little in curiosity as he stared ahead at the stary night. In his hands was the rolled up contract made by Hades and himself. Four hours had gone into making it.

Details ironed out. Benefits on both sides ironed out.

The best one he had gotten, at least he personally thought so, was a permanent agreement to not fight each other, and access to any realms the other controlled.

"It was a painful four hours." He mused out loud as he let the contract turn into blue motes of light and enter his body.

Another new thing from the stupid spirit. His Dawn Energy, had gone from its black and white color scheme to the same dark blue as the corpses.

That made him think the corpse had at some point also wielded a form of Dawn Energy, and theirs had become more pure.

Another thing, was that he could now control his mystic eyes turning on and off, without needing a pair of mystic eye killers. Said eyes were also much stronger now. Still couldn't figure out the runic writing on those cave walls though to his annoyance.

However, that's where the changes ended. He could still conjure up light and shadow energy separately, but their combined form had that blue color now.

With a shrug, he grabbed a random rock and turned it into a portkey and vanished back to Hogwarts. He had stuff to do, aka enjoy his own nap.

Raven grumbled as he opened his eyes to someone shaking him awake. Turning a furious glare towards the person, he saw it was Rose, and his irritation only went down a little bit.

A grunt was his response as he stared at her.

"I need your help. I think Professor Snape is going to steal the philosopher stone." Raven laughed at that.

"Snape of all people. That's hilarious." Raven didn't say out loud how he noticed the man hated life. The man however had pride, and an ego big enough not kill himself. That and seemed to have some kind of purpose guiding him.

"It doesn't matter then! Someone's gonna steal. Now's the opportune time. Professor Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall have left the castle for a emergency at the ministry of magic." Rose explained, and Raven snorted, but partially got up, making sure the covers didn't fall past his chest.

"Fine, but I'd recommend getting out my room first. You can stay if you want, but I'm not sure you want to see my naked body." Raven said, he had found he much preferred sleeping naked nowadays. Felt much better.

"Eep." Rose ran out the room red faced and he snorted as he put on his clothes with a wave of his hand, letting them form onto his body.

Black boots, just in case he had to punt a bitch in the face with his foot, black pants with a black and silver belt. A dark blue button up shirt with a black and silver tie, he had to look good after all. To top it all off, he had on a black suit jacket. Style points baby.

"I look good. Time to deal with some annoying people. This better be amusing." Raven muttered to himself as he grabbed his silver cross earring and put it on.

"Let's go." Raven said as he walked out the room to see Rose standing there with a fading blush. Though she didn't look straight at him.

Raven sighed as he finally arrived at the entrance to the stones room, or he should say former stones room. Since you know, he had the real stone and a fake was left in its place.

He idly wondered on what he should use the stone for. Perhaps as a magic conduit, though it would need to be improved on to work for what he wants.

Shaking his head, he walked into the room after Rose and saw… Quirell of all people standing in front of that cursed mirror.

"Ok, this is hilarious. I knew that stutter was fake." Raven cackled as he and Rose were bound together by a rope. Raven tried hard not to cackle harder. The man was apparently competent as well.

"Potter and Inanis. I see you have finally arrived." Quirell said as he continued to stare into the mirror. "Remain silent while I try to get the stone out for my master."

"I see myself giving it to my master, but I can't get it out." The man complained and a weak voice spoke up.

"Use the children." It was weak and odd sounding, but had a tone of superiority. Kind of like his first dead apostle hunt.

Quirell dragged them forward in front of the mirror.

"What do you see!?" He demanded.

"My parents cheering for me at the quidditch game as I win." Rose said softly. However she didn't mention her copy placing a red stone into her pocket.

"Surrounded by my close ones and I'm older. Oh, a throne." Raven noted making shit up. He wasn't looking at the mirror, he refused to.

"They lie! The girl has it!" Quirell reeled back as the second voice spoke up.

"Tell the truth children, or else!" Quirell said, but the second voice spoke up. "Let me speak to them." "But master, you're not strong enough." "I have strength enough for this." Quirell seemed to accept that and slowly removed his turned and turned around.

"Ugly pimple man!" Raven said and Rose snorted.

"No you fool! I am Lord Voldemort. The strongest dark lord of all time. See what I have become, even though I was defeated, I am immortal, I can not die. Join me, give me the stone and I promise you both positions at my side." Voldemort said choosing to ignore the name calling. He knew very well how strong the boy was. Potter was also the one spoke in the prophecy to possibly kill him, so she was a worthy lieutenant as well.

"No." Rose said and Raven grinned.

"Oh, but if I return to power, I could revive you parents. Anything you wish for, I can grant it. I am an all powerful dark lord who can do anything." Voldemort said slyly and Raven rolled his eyes.

"No. I will not betray my friends." Rose said and Raven grinned at that.

"An you boy, will you spurn my generous offer. To rule at my side." Voldemort said and Raven rolled his eyes.

"Oh please, I've heard how you treat your men. The only good thing about your side was that anyone who attempted to force themselves onto people would die." Raven said as he causally broke the ropes around him and rose with a dagger that faded away afterwards.

"I see. KILL THEM!" Voldemort snapped out as Quirell spun around, his wand shooting off spell after spell as Rose conjured up a shield. Raven noted she wasn't lacking in power. She had about three quarters of the power he did before the whole Legion crap happened.

Raven conjured up some fire wolves as he summoned his wand, something he could do now apparently, and had them tank the spells and attack.

Raven conjured up some shadow spikes and sent them forward, really, fighting wizards who aren't Albus is pretty easy. He had seen the memory of Albus fighting Legion in control of his body.

"Stupid child!" Quirell snapped as he conjured cold iron cuffs on him, and Raven let it happen, he was ready to break them, but felt sudden weakness and groaned as he fell to the ground.

He was light headed and didn't feel so great.

"What the fuck is this crap!?" He demanded.

"Cold iron, a weakness to many creatures, however half breeds like you are greatly more effected, you must have some special blood inside of you." Quirell said as he casually held Rose in place as she was on the defensive with casting.

"Ugh. So stupid. Lori's going to have my ass for this. So much trouble." Raven grumbled as he reached into his boot and pulled out his hidden dagger and cut the chains between the cuffs.

Then the knife vanished and then his staff appeared in his hand.

"Denial still works." Raven mumbled and pointed his staff forward as he created mana for the spell with his denial of nothingness, something not that easy to do, but he could do it. Lots of explosions happened in testing.

"You know, I heard from an old acquaintance of mine who enjoyed a game called D&D, a funny joke for the Wizard class, it went something like this… I CAST FIREBALL!" Raven yelled out his spell as a giant fireball sprang forth from his staff making the room bathe in fire.

After a little bit of time, Raven waved his staff and the fire cleared.

Rose was fine, minus her clothes being burnt off mostly. Quirell/Voldemort were greatly burnt, their wand somehow still in tact.

"YOU STUPID BRAT!" The man snapped and Raven found a lot old cold iron surrounded him, wrapping around his body and constructing his movement. He felt like he couldn't breath, and for a moment, he actually thought he would die, but instead he saw bright red-orange flames flying around from Rose as she screamed as Quirell approached her, a bright red stone under her foot.

"Oh, she's supercharged off my mana in the stone that I used as a fake source replication." He noted before the flames melted the iron off him and he sighed in relief as he watched Quirell/Voldemort turn to ash, and the dark losers spirit flying off promising revenge.

Raven moved forward and gently caught Rose and conjured a cloak around her to protect her modesty.

He soared a glare at Albus and Snape as they arrived in the room, wands up. His mind idly noted that Albus' wand was different then before.

"You're late. Next time, deal with dark losers on your own." Raven snapped and then picked the unconscious Rose up in a bridal carry and moved to take her to the nurse. He supposed they both needed a check up.

He also purposely vanished the stone replica as he stepped on it making it seem like he had fully destroyed it.

He was way to annoyed to care.

So here Raven learns a major weakness of his, and I know it's weird that Quirellmort can conjurer the one true weakness of Raven, Cold Iron, but I'll plan to explain why in a later volume, spoilers! Can't have too much of those after all.

Now I hope you all enjoyed the chapter, ima head to bed now. I'm tired and Christmas is 15 minutes away.
