ALL NOVEL Chapter 45: Operation Lighting Strike
Once hearing Anastasias order, the Russian Armed Forces began their strike. Three Army Groups are partaking in this operation. One Army Group consists of 1 million troops.
Army Group North, lead by Marshall Alexi will lead his men from the costal holdings and advance westward and southward.
Army Group Center, lead by Anastasia will push into the heartland of the Ottoman Empire.
Army Group South, lead by Marshall Michael will coordinate with Army Group Center as they push more south while on the same track with Army Group Center.
This operation is the biggest military campaign in the entire history of warfare.
The Ottoman Empire deployed 6 million troops, a large portion of their population as this is a war that determines the fate of their Empire.
1.3 million are at the last bastion of the Balkan Front as they hold of Greek and Bulgarian offensives.
1.5 million are at the Middle East Front as they fight the British who they themselves only brought 1 million men.
3.2 million which is the remaining number of troops are at the Anatolian Front, trying to hold of the Russians.
This large deployment of troops made a rift in Ottoman society as the non-turkic and even some turkic people plot of overthrowing the Sultan.
-Army Group Center Comand Base-
Operation Lighting Strike has begun, Army Group Center has begun to advance towards their first target, Erzincan.
Erzincan is a minor city but that's were they will meet up with Army Group North as they take all territories North of Erzincan.
Army Group South will advance towards Bingöl and Muş.
Right now the troops are in their Armored trucks and IFV's. With planes taking lead and scouting enemy positions.
A large force of enemies are spotted by the planes as they radio the Amry below them.

"This is Arch-1 large enemy forces spotted to your west, hostiles are advancing towards your location."
Anastasia picked up a radio and responded.
"Understood Arch-1 we got your message, keep and eye on their movements and report back when you see any changes."

"Understood Golden Eagle, Arch-1 out."
Anastasia switched the frequency as she ordered.
"This is Golden Eagle, all IFV's move in front of the formation and tear the enemy troops with your wapons. All APC's move to the back of the formation."

"Understood Golden Eagle, moving to position."
As the Army approached the Ottomans, they saw a dust cloud.
As the Ottoman look at this dust cloud they realize what that is. That's no dust cloud, that's a Russian Army advancing towards them!
The IFV's who are the spear of the advance burst through Ottoman ranks as they fire their mounted gatlings guns.

They ran over multiple men as their bodies got crushed by the heavy vehicles while they shot at the Ottomans.
The Ottoman force got broken as the men began to run around as they deserted.
The APC's who drove from behind while carrying Artillery pieces from behind, drive around the Ottomans.
The IFV's turned around as they drove back towards the Ottomans as they fired again and again.
Some brave men who fought back realized that their bullets bounce of the Armor of those strange vehicles.
They were not ready to fight a enemy like this.
As they fought on more Russian troops arrived from the direction from were the IFV's and the APC's arrived from.
As the Army neared the Russian metal boxes drove away.
The Ottomans were confused, those Russian bulletproof vehicles drove off?
Before they could reorganize a explosion shook the battlefield.

Artillery began to fire at the Ottoman troops as they try to run away only for them to getting blown up.
Just like that the first battle in this operation is over.

As Russian Forces near the city, Ottoman men who took positions didn't ready themselves as they don't know that their friendly force before them is no more.
