Walking over to Elsa, Eros looked at Rob again and slowly removed the ring, making everyone surprised to appear next to the girl.

- It's good to see you Rob," the titan smiled slightly and extended his hand to the old man.

Elsa, on the other hand, was talking to the other children.

- What makes you think so? - The girl asked in surprise, glancing at Eros, who was talking to Rob about something, -We don't look alike... I guess....

At the thought of it, her cheeks flushed.

At that moment, a girl with a cat-like face ran up to Eros and asked Eros something, but he looked at Elsa and shook his head with a sad smile.

- Miliana!

Leaving the cell, Eros first began to explore the place and memorise the location of each cultist and the approximate route of the patrol. Next, he stole the cell keys from one of them and made a copy out of stone using the power of destruction. With that finished, he set about finding Gerard.

He quickly ran through the passageways, heading towards where the titan had found Elsa. He was surprised to notice small scars and scratches on the walls and floor.

And when he reached the room, he froze and looked in amazement at the four corpses lying on the floor, one of which was headless.

"Ruthless kid... Yeah and the corpses are fresh, which means he's not far away somewhere."- Eros destroyed the corpses and followed the trail of blood that was on the floor... Not even a minute later he heard an explosion, not thinking long he ran at full speed towards that direction.

Once there, Eros looked at the four flying corpses and the dozen cultists behind them in surprise. In those corpses, the titan immediately recognised the Magic Soldiers.

"I didn't think anyone else was in the business of creating them..."- because long ago, their creation had been deemed inhumane by the council and punishable by death. For only one thing, you need a living mage at least a C-rank mage, as well as ten ordinary people, from which will be drained of life force and with the help of the ritual "Elevation of the Undead", all the life force flowed into the mage, and the mage turned into a dried-up corpse. But the most unpleasant thing is that in order for them to move they also need life force.

In the distance, Eros saw a blue-haired boy lying on the ground, and a broken two-handed sword not far from him.

- Not bad, ten men... Kid, you killed ten," one of the cultists said with a grin, "But that's it....

- Where's Elsa... What have you done to her?! - wheezed the boy.

- What do you think?

- Bastards! I'll kill you! I'll kill you all!- You're no longer alive, boy, I've never seen anyone survive with a hole in their chest," the cultist said with a sneer.

After a series of explosions that formed several small craters, the dust settled down revealing a view of small traces of blood in one of the craters.

- There's nothing left of him," one of them said with a laugh.

- I don't care.

- We need to clean up the corpses, get a couple of slaves to do it," he pointed his staff in the direction of the magical soldiers and magical circles appeared over them, engulfing them.

- Let's go.

Eros stood in a small room in front of the body of a boy with blue hair and a tattoo below and above his right eye, looking at him with regret. The Titan wished he had been quicker to save him, such people with a core inside were very rare, perhaps he would have made a good co-guildmate or even a friend. And he promised the girl to find him....

- Elsa..." Gerard whispered, looking at Eros with a blurred look.

- No, I'm not her.

- А...? I must... must save her... must... must....

- Don't worry, I saved her and she's safe now.

- W-really?

- Yes, so you can sleep easy, I swear I'll protect her and I won't let anyone hurt her... - the titan felt a sense of guilt as he looked at the boy, he cursed himself for not coming in time, maybe then he would have been alive....

- I will believe... Take care of her, please..." his gaze became brighter as he looked at Eros, "If you hurt her, I swear that even from the other side of the world... I will get you..." Gerard wheezed, looking into Eros' eyes.

At that moment, the titan heard a rustle behind him, but he didn't turn round, because Eros already knew who was there.

- I'm sorry I'm late...

- Gerard! - she ran to him and fell to her knees grabbing his hand.

- Elsa... - the boy whispered fondly, looking at her, - How happy I am to see you, at the last moment....

- Please! Gerard, don't go! You promised... - tears were pouring from the girl's eyes, - Gerard...

- Elsa... I... I really want to stay, but... It's the end....

- Don't say that... please...

- Elsa, promise... - Gerard took her hand and a faint smile appeared on his lips, - Promise that you will forget about me and live a happy life... That you will love someone else... that you will marry....
