Chapter 7: The confrontation of the souls of heroes
The moonlight shone on the rooftop, revealing two figures standing atop it.
Ragna smirked and said, "Well, it's time to start. Media, I'm entrusting the rescue of Sakura to you. I'm going to play with the heroic spirits."
Media smiled gently and replied, "As you wish."
Under the moonlight, Media vanished, and Ragna fell deep into his thoughts, clenching his fist.
"I can't believe these events are happening. It feels like a dream, too good to be real." Ragna smirked again and continued, "It's time to see what heroic spirits are made of. Don't disappoint me, legendary heroic spirits!" Ragna's eyes sparkled with excitement, like a child faced with a new toy.
He carefully placed his feet on the ground and began to run at supersonic speed toward the place where Saber and Lancer were fighting. As he approached, he could hear the sounds of swords and spears clashing.
He got closer to the location and climbed atop one of the containers to watch the battle between Saber and Lancer.
These two were good fighters, but they had their issues. Saber's swordsmanship wasn't great; after all, she was a king, not a warrior. Lancer's spear skills were excellent, but not on the level of a Kami. If it were Kami, he would have finished this fight in seconds. Ragna analyzed the battle between the two.
The clash of Saber and Lancer had destroyed the entire hundred meter area as if it had been bombarded by a missile. The surrounding containers were shattered into pieces, which was the result of the superhuman strength of the servants. Every master watching this battle was amazed at the incredible strength of the servants
Especially Kiritsugu Emiya, who saw this scene and was convinced that killing the master was the best way to destroy the Servants.
Ragna saw Lancer use his Noble Phantasm at his Master's command and faced Saber again, injuring Saber's tendon.
"This spear is similar to my Silverin; it has anti-magic properties, but it's much weaker than Silverin." Ragna watched Lancer's Noble Phantasm with curiosity.
Lancer and Saber prepared for the final round when suddenly a lightning bolt struck the ground, and a Rider with his chariot entered. Behind him, Waver was screaming.
Irisviel exclaimed in surprise, "A chariot!"
The Rider smirked and said, "You two, sheath your weapons; you are in the presence of a king. I am Alexander, the King of Conquerors. I am here in this Holy Grail War."
Everyone stared at the Rider in astonishment. Waver seemed to be dying from anger and frustration.
Waver punched the Rider's body and shouted, "What were you thinking, you fool!"
But the Rider merely tapped Waver's forehead with his finger and looked back at Saber and Lancer, continuing, "Fate has brought us together to fight for the Holy Grail. However, my heart desires to ask: how about you surrender the Grail to me and join my army?"
The Rider happily continued, "I will treat you both as my friends, and we will share in the joy of conquering the world together."
Everyone stared at the rider in disbelief. "I'm sorry, but I must decline," Lancer said breaking the silence. The holy grail must be given to one, my master, with whom I have made a pact. "And not at you," he added, giving Ryder a serious look
Saber said coldly, "So you've interrupted our battle just to say such nonsense? As a knight, this is an unforgivable insult."
The Rider scratched his head and said, "I am willing to set the terms."
Lancer and Saber replied together, "Shut up!"
Saber continued, "Besides, I am the king responsible for the welfare of Britain and cannot be subordinated to anyone."
The Rider exclaimed in surprise, "You are the King of Britain? What a surprise! I didn't expect the King of Knights to be a little girl."
Saber gritted her teeth and said, "Do you want to taste the sword of this little girl, King of Conquerors?"
The Rider sighed, as if negotiations had failed What a pity,
Waver shouted, "Rider, you!"
Waver's words were interrupted by the voice of Kayneth El-Melloi Archibald. Waver trembled as Kayneth said, "So out of all these people, it was you? I was wondering what madness made you steal my belongings. I never imagined you would want to enter the Holy Grail War. Waver, perhaps I should give you some extra lessons."
Waver's body trembled in fear at Kayneth's voice. Kayneth continued, "The concept that magicians kill each other is something I will teach you about fear and pain. You should take pride in it."
Weaver was trembling with fear, suddenly the rider put his hand on Weaver's waist and shouted, "You witch! It seems you wanted to take this boy's place as my master. "The only master who has the courage to fight alongside me can be my master."
The Rider continued with his majestic voice, "A coward who does not show himself does not deserve to be my Master."
Kayneth gritted his teeth. The Rider began to laugh and said, "I'm sure more of you are watching in the darkness. Lancer and Saber, your battle was extraordinary. It's unlikely that I am the only heroic spirit who has heard the sounds of your battle. Heroic spirits summoned by the Holy Grail, gather here! Cowards who do not show themselves will face my wrath."
The voice of a young man echoed through the area.
Ragna smiled and said, "My Servants are a bit busy." It's okay if I take her place as master."
Everyone looked at Ragna, who had arrived. The pressure emanating from him caused the Servants to sweat, especially Saber, who felt both fear and closeness
Lancer communicated mentally with Kayneth, "This is not good, Master. This person is very strong."
Kayneth replied, "I know; I can feel it too. How can such a monster be a Master? What is happening?"
The Rider wiped the sweat from his forehead and smirked, as if the situation had become a bit serious.
Waver grabbed the Rider's red cloak in fear, and Irisviel moved behind Saber.
Irisviel said worriedly, "Saber, he is truly a Master, not a Servant. What is happening?"
"The mark on his hand shows his identity as a master and I am sure he is not a servant," replied Saber coolly. I don't know what is happening. "Irisville, be careful. I don't know why, but my whole body fears and hates this person."
