Football: What Happened To Going To The Nightclub? I Have To Score

Chapter 16: Chapter 16 Hat Trick! Perfect Debut!

Sandhausen coach Schwarzer was in complete panic mode.

A 2-goal lead by the 80th minute seemed like a secure win.

But since the appearance of the unknown Asian boy, No. 39, he had scored two goals in quick succession, completely catching them off guard.

They had never encountered such an unpredictable player!

The saying "newborn calves aren't afraid of tigers" usually meant being a bit flashy at most.

But this oriental kid was like a newborn calf taking down a tiger!

What a joke!

Schwarzer glanced at Coach Neuhaus next to him, who seemed surprised by Su Luo's performance.

"Oh, no!"

Schwarzer quickly substituted the central defender from the bench, replacing their lone forward.

"The visiting team Sandhausen requests a substitution. No. 9 Frank Luo Ning is off, and No. 5 Schulz is on!"

The home announcer read out the news to a chorus of boos from the home stands.

"Booo! You coward!"

"Schwarzer's spineless! Shame on you!"

"Go back to where you came from!"

Most European club stadiums were professional, with the stands close to the action.

Schwarzer could hear the fans hurling insults, with some even extending their middle fingers at him.

But Schwarzer remained unfazed.

He wanted that one point from this away game, no matter what! Even if they had to endure being cursed at, they needed to secure the draw!

As the game resumed, Su Luo felt the pressure intensify.

Wherever he went, he found himself double-teamed, with the central defender and midfielder shadowing his every move.

It seemed like they had given up on other defensive duties just to focus on marking Su Luo.

"This is disgusting! Schwarzer has no shame!"

"But we've managed to level the score. Su's debut will be remembered by our opponents, which is already a success."

Uncle Hans took the situation seriously.

By this time, the fourth official had raised the board, indicating 4 minutes of injury time.

The Union Berlin players had given their all, but they were running on empty.

Coach Neuhaus opted to play it safe, instructing the team to maintain formation and avoid conceding.

Securing one point at home wouldn't be too bad.

Su Luo's "10-minute hero" status had expired,

With multiple defenders marking him, he struggled to pose a threat.

As the clock ticked down, Su Luo didn't give up. He kept moving off the ball, searching for openings!

As the game reached its final minute, it seemed unlikely that the score would change.

Union Berlin controlled possession in their half, aiming to run down the clock.

Captain Torsten Matuschka received the ball and looked to pass it back to the defender.

Then, he noticed something unexpected: Su Luo was signaling for the ball near the halfway line!

"What's he up to?"

Su Luo was near the center circle, closely marked on both sides, with defenders not far off. Yet, he dared to call for the ball!

But given Su Luo's form today, Matuschka decided to take a chance.

Su Luo stepped back to receive the ball, and Matuschka seized the opportunity to pass it to him.

He expected Su Luo to try a flank attack or pass back, or at worst, lose possession.

After all, there were less than 30 seconds left; there wasn't much to lose.

But then, in a surprising move, Su Luo did something unexpected after receiving the ball.

No one could predict his next move!

Su Luo turned away from the goal, received the ball, and suddenly unleashed a shot from 26 meters!

Boom!

The ball soared over the goal with no apparent angle, seemingly destined for the stands!

The defenders were baffled.

"Was that it?"

The goalkeeper anticipated the trajectory and didn't attempt to save it.

But then, the ball suddenly dipped!

Catching the goalkeeper off guard!

"A knuckleball?"

"It's in!"

"Did that just happen?"

Sandhausen felt a chill.

The goalkeeper could only watch helplessly as the ball sailed into the net!

The stadium erupted for the third time, the vibrations felt throughout Berlin's industrial zone!

"Goooooal!!!"

"The winning goal by No. 39 Su Luo!"

The announcer's voice echoed with excitement!

Uncle Hans had already embraced Bud, celebrating wildly!

The fans tossed their beer glasses high, uncaring if they spilled beer on themselves; they just wanted to celebrate!

2 goals down, with only 10 minutes left, to score three goals in succession and clinch the win!

Youth team player No. 39 Su Luo had won the hearts of the fans in his debut!

Could there be a more perfect fantasy debut?

Su Luo was swarmed by his ecstatic teammates, buried under a pile of red jerseys.

Coach Neuhaus couldn't help but applaud.

Who would've thought they'd find such a gem?

He should be the calmest person in the stadium right now.

Su Luo's characteristics were clear: lack of physicality, inconsistency, and lacking the discipline of a top professional.

But with his outstanding performance, Su Luo had earned his spot in the first team.

Whether he would stay in the team would depend on his future performance.

Neuhaus had a feeling; if Su Luo kept this up, they might even aim for the Bundesliga this season?

After the game, Schwarzer, the visiting team's coach, accepted defeat with a wry smile:

"We were unlucky. We became lax in defense towards the end, and we'll need to tighten up in the future."

But to him, Su Luo's three goals were just lucky shots.

To the reporters, he sounded like a sore loser.

Su Luo, the MVP, was swarmed by reporters.

"He just joined the youth team this season. Isn't it too early for him to start playing professionally?"

"Will Su start in future games?"

"Could he play a more significant role in the team's tactics?"

The old fox Neuhaus didn't want to reveal too much yet, lest he expose Su Luo to undue media attention.

"Today's victory was a team effort. Su's hat-trick was impressive, but our future tactics will depend on his performance in training."

Facing the media, Su Luo remained composed.

"I'm happy to help the team win, but this is just the beginning. Our goal is the Bundesliga; the second division doesn't mean much."

Su Luo's words left the TV reporters stunned.

Daring to speak about the Bundesliga after just one win? They were only 12th in the rankings!

Wasn't that a bit too arrogant
