Harry Potter: Archmage of Another World

Chapter 264: Chapter 264: The Temporal Fireseed

"Oh?" Agarese suddenly fell silent, as if something had just occurred to him.

A legendary mage—a rank I can count on one hand among those I know, all of whom hail from the Central Magic Plane. For someone so young to reach this level, it's hard to believe this is anything but a feat of will usurpation. If this assumption holds, then they are not an ally, but an enemy—one who likely knows me all too well. In that case... this battle must end.

"Since you and I have crossed paths before, and seeing as we both hold the title of Legend, I won't pursue this matter further. Now, take these people and leave immediately." Agarese's golden eyes gleamed with a divine brilliance as he spoke, his tone deliberative. For a Legend, profit reigns supreme, and alliances or enmities can shift in an instant. Without a fundamental clash of interests, there was no need for conflict.

Augustus seemed to have anticipated this. Rather than leaving, he took a few steps closer, narrowing the distance between them to just five meters. For a Legend, this distance is life or death—a perilous threshold, especially against someone like Agarese, renowned for close combat. It was both the most dangerous and the safest distance.

"So, it seems you don't intend to leave?" A faint trace of anger appeared on Agarese's usually stoic face. Countless possibilities flickered through his golden eyes.

"Your mastery of the Thousand Forms technique seems to have reached perfection. My congratulations." Augustus stood calmly, a faint smile on his face. His snow-white robe billowed gently in the breeze, gradually filling with air.

Agarese felt a rare flicker of irritation. This man clearly knew too much about him and wouldn't be ignorant of the unique talents of Solomon's Demon King. It seemed inevitable that this avatar would be lost here.

"So, you know me quite well. But surely you're aware that within three steps, your life is no longer your own." Agarese's golden eyes burned brightly as he stared at Augustus.

"Die!" Agarese's icy visage twisted into a ferocious snarl as his aura surged. He was like a raging dragon leaping into the sky, his fists resembling the gaping maw of the beast. In an instant, his fists accelerated to their utmost speed, striking directly at Augustus's chest.

The punch tore through the air with annihilating force, transforming the world into a void. In the starry expanse, it seemed as though Augustus stood alone, facing the wrathful charge of a colossal dragon. The overwhelming intent of the punch encompassed the stars, its ferocity grand and oppressive. As it drew closer, the surrounding space darkened. The brighter the dragon grew, the deeper the surrounding darkness became.

By the time the punch reached Augustus, the world, the universe, and time itself had been consumed by darkness.

In this pure blackness, Agarese, transformed into the colossal dragon, seemed to be the center of time and space, the ruler of the cosmos, the sole existence within the void.

"Extinction Dragon Fist," Augustus murmured softly, his face serene.

Within the darkness, Loki could see only the massive golden dragon dominating the heavens. The brilliance of this dragon, shining within the void, etched itself into his very soul, becoming the ruler of his existence. A faint awareness of death crept into Loki's mind as he stared at the overwhelming dragon, his amber eyes reflecting its feral majesty.

The surrounding mages couldn't understand the power before them, but an involuntary unease gripped them—a sense that their lives were no longer under their control.

If even the onlookers felt this way, one could only imagine the pressure on Augustus, directly facing the punch's intent.

The Extinction Dragon Fist, reigning supreme in the void, became the sovereign of the stars.

As the darkness swallowed the world, the fist's intent—a boundless golden dragon across the river of time—descended upon Augustus with an oppressive brilliance.

Thor's deep blue eyes contracted, filled with an almost suffocating reverence.

With a slight sigh, Augustus quietly drew his wand.

A spark appeared beneath the stars—a crimson flame, like a meteor streaking through the darkness. To the gathered mages, this flame seemed like an eternal star in the infinite sky. Observing its light, they felt as though countless years and epochs had already flowed by.

The flame flickered calmly, its light staining the deep blue of the heavens red and piercing through the oppressive darkness. The colossal golden dragon, filled with furious intent, began to dissipate in the quiet dance of the flame.

The domineering golden dragon dissolved beneath the infinite stars, leaving only the faint, insignificant flicker of the fireseed. Yet, this humble light seemed to transcend all time and space, becoming the master of destiny itself.

The Extinction Dragon Fist, which once reigned over the stars, was extinguished—its might absorbed like a pebble vanishing into the depths of the ocean.

"Temporal Fireseed?" Agarese's handsome face showed shock as he gazed at the humble flame beneath his feet. For the first time, his golden eyes reflected confusion and disbelief. "You... this is divine power."

Before his words could finish, the tiny flame beneath the stars swept over Agarese's slender form. The heavens brightened once more, and everything faded into nothingness.

Augustus stowed his wand and pointed toward the stars. A massive tower of amethyst crystal materialized, shimmering faintly in the void.

"Let's go home," Augustus said coolly, turning to the mages and ushering them into the crystal tower.

For the mages, it was as if they were dreaming. The sheer disruption to their understanding of magic and power made them feel like ants witnessing the clash of titans. For some, a new doorway to ambition and strength had opened.

"Mr. Augustus," Hermione whispered in awe, standing in the tower's guest hall and gazing at the pristine view beneath the stars.

"Yes?" Augustus turned to her.

She explained the story of the Life Fruit entrusted to them by the Tree of Life, asking if they could plant it in this world.

"Oh, the Life Fruit?" A hint of surprise flickered in Augustus's silver eyes. Even in the Central Magic Plane, such treasures were rare.

"No problem. Plant it at Hogwarts," he said after a brief pause.

Beneath the vast stars, the amethyst crystal tower continued its tranquil journey.
