Heaven Destroyer

Chapter 93: Played by the Dog

After looking at the lady, Ayaan didn't notice any change in her and sighed in relief. Though he knew that the real test would start when she started practising her sutra. At that time, she had to be really very careful.

Noor dashed towards her sister and asked worriedly, "Ar-are you alright? Are you feeling anything wrong with your body? What about the sutra...."

In a short period, she showered the Isobel with hundreds of questions, however, Isobel could see the worry and care in her sister's voice and felt the warmth in her heart.

"I am alright. Nothing is wrong. Why are you behaving like this?" Isobel looked at her sister confusedly. She didn't know anything which they had been talking about a while before. Therefore, Noor explained everything to her, Leafwhisk told their group.

After listening to what Noor said, Isobel just smiled before saying, "Tell me one thing, what would you do if you were at my place?"

Isobel looked at her sister seriously — Noor fell silent after hearing Isobel's word. She knew that she would never give up and would continue to work hard.

"I understand," Noor replied Isobel and didn't speak any further. She knew that Isobel loved Ayaan and if she wanted to be with him, then the lady had to become strong because Ayaan was just too talented. If she wasn't able to walk with him then she would be left behind and he will disappear from her life. It was the truth of life.

The only thing which could let her stay by his side was the same path that Ayaan was walking. If she wasn't able to walk side by side, then she would follow him.

Afterwards, the group talked to each other for some time. Finally, Ayaan turned towards Leafwhisk, serious expression and asked, "I want to know where are the pieces of the holy stone."

Leafwhisk looked at Ayaan and said, "I can tell you but I don't think you would be able to get the pieces with your current strength."

"Do you think I will be able to become much stronger without holy stones?" Ayaan spoke annoyedly. He was really frustrated that he wasn't able to evolve at the altar but everyone else did. He thought that the system was the easy way to the power — only now did he realise that there was no shortcut to become strong.

There might be some lucky encounters in someone's life but that doesn't mean he would be able to reach the top in a single leap. He also had to perceive, endure, work-hard and a life full of hardship. Only then, he would be able to become what he wanted to be — there was no shortcut. The path could become easy due to a lucky encounter but it would still be full of hardships.

"Yeah, actually you are right. You won't be able to raise your level much. Someone had placed the level increasing technique inside your body, but it isn't much powerful and won't be able to raise your magic energy to the next level, which you people call Archmage in this world.'' At the last sentence, she curled her lips in disdain, as if the Archmage level was just a joke in her eyes.

Ayaan saw her look but didn't comment on it; instead, he asked something else, "What is the level increasing technique?'

"Oh, the level increasing technique is very basic in the higher world. Almost every small or big family uses this technique," She looked at Ayaan with a weird expression before continuing, "Actually it is a technique to rear the beasts. People use this technique on the beasts and let them fight each other and at the end only the best of the best remain. "

"However, it doesn't mean they would be able to save themselves because after surviving and level up, the energy inside the beast would also increase, and they would be very nutritious — most people prefer to turn them into a delicious food."

Pausing for a second, Leafwhisk said, "Did you think that such a cheap method would be able to make you stronger in this world? That method is full of flaws. You may be able to raise your level but your energy will become unstable. Yes, it would let you become powerful in a short time but it will also destroy your future — even people who aren't at your level will be able to beat you easily."

Ayaan was looking at Leafwhisk with his mouth wide open. He didn't know what to say. Till now, he was thinking that the system was the supreme thing which would help him to rule this world. But now, he heard that it was the technique to rear the beast, only to be served at the dining table table. It was too much for him to accept.

'Fuck! Does that mean I was played by that damn dog?!' Ayaan was furious as well as confused, he couldn't accept the reality for some time.

Suddenly, Ayaan remembered about the teleportation ability of the system which was able to send him to the other worlds. It must be a genuine ability, there shouldn't be any trick, Ayaan thought and told it to Leafwhisk.

At this time, he forgot that he didn't even know her for much time. Because his heart wasn't calm and he couldn't think straight. Fortunately, the lady didn't seem to have any ulterior motives.

After hearing Ayaan's words, Leafwhsik chuckled and shook her head, "I am the space elemental practitioner and I know a lot more than anyone else about the space element. If I am not wrong, someone has placed a teleportation formation in your body. In which he has given the coordinates of the places you want to visit."

"However, the formation needs the power to run — there must be a power source in your body. And when you give your instruction to the thing you called the system, it starts to provide the energy to the formation and send you to your desired places. I think there must be a space treasure inside your body which is holding elemental stones inside it, providing energy to the formation."

"And what you have told me, I can tell you that the worlds aren't high level, they are even lower than this world. Therefore, it isn't hard to teleport to those worlds."

Ayaan still couldn't believe anything, and argued, "Then what about the Magic formulas which I could buy from the shop?'' They are the technique of this world. How could anyone make so many magic formulas and I don't think anything is wrong with them. Though I didn't practice them, Rebecca and Noor have practised those formulas."

Leafwhisk looked at Ayaan in annoyance, she had explained him so many things but he still wasn't believing. She said, "Alright, let me see those magic formulas,"

Immediately, Noor and Rebecca passed both of their magic formulas to Leafwhisk.

After taking a glance at those formulas, Leafwhisk gave everyone a strange look before bursting into a peal of laughter, "This was the magic formula you were talking about and said it was of the god rank?"

Ayaan didn't know what she meant, but the other three girls had neutral faces. They had received three most powerful elemental sutras and they knew much more about the techniques of the higher world than Ayaan. Though they didn't start practising, the knowledge about the sutras was still inside their heads.

"This is shit! Absolutely shit! Even a child of the higher world could develop hundreds of techniques like these," Leafwhisk looked at the magic formulas with amused expressions. She didn't know what to say. In the higher world, not even beggars would take these formulas.

Now, even Ayaan started to believe that he was played by that damn dog. Then he remembered about Birdy and complicated feelings appeared inside his heart. He couldn't believe that Birdy was deceiving him.

But at this moment he remembered something else and his eyes went wide in shock. He turned towards Leafwhisk and asked with an agitated face, "When I received the legacy of the heaven destroyer, my body was changed completely and my bloodline changed as well. I was turned into a dog."

He looked at Leafwhisk, asking with a grave tone, "Is it because of that I wasn't able to evolve inside the altar?"

Leafwhisk looked at Ayaan surprisedly. She didn't think that he would be able to understand the truth on his own with his low IQ. She wanted to tell him the truth when he would acquire all the parts of the holy stone.

"Yes, you have a human soul but the blood of a demon. They aren't compatible. If you had a soul of a demon as well, then you would be able to become much more powerful with this bloodline. Though there are many high-level techniques which could help you blend with the blood of the demon almost perfectly. It will still affect your future progress."

"Because no matter what, the bloodline isn't yours. The holy stone is sentience, it could tell that evolving your body at that time with be good for you and that is the reason, your body failed to evolve."

After hearing her explanation, Ayaan was able to understand the situation, but there was still a question lingering in his head, "If my bloodline is that of a powerful demon, then why the hell my talent was only green level, previously? According to the standard of this world, Shouldn't my talent be way above other people?"
