Chapter 3: Crown Academy
ANNABEL'S POV:
I walked into the school gate to where the register room was and took down my name. I walked into the building and headed for my new class. I can't still believe that I'm finally in final year and about six months I'll be through with highschool. I entered into my new classroom and quickly found a seat at the third row and sat down.
I started unpacking my bag when a group of girls surrounded me, each giving me dirty looks.
"What do you want?" I asked impatiently. I didn't want anyone to ruin my mood.
"Oh my Annabel! That's not the way to talk to your best friend." Tessy said batting her eyelids.
"Ex-friend." I corrected.
"Look girls! She's all dolled up and for who?" She asked, laughing hysterically.
"Jordan!!" They all yelled as I fisted my hands in anger, ready to bounce on them.
"Let me tell you something baby girl." She said as she held my chin up close. "Jordan can never be yours cause he's mine and I'll never let you have him not even...in your dreams." She spat in my face.
"Girls, lets go our work is done here for now, Cha!" She waved and sashayed out of the class with her friends.
"Urgh.. I just hate this girl." I fumed.
JOSHUA'S POV:
The driver dropped me off at the car park where I usually meet the rest of the gang.
"Hey Josh!" Sebastian (one of Joshua's friend) greeted as he gave him a bro hug.
"I'm good." I replied as we broke the hug.
"Hey Sarah."
"Hi."
"Urm... where's she?" I asked, nervously staring at Sara and Sebastian.
"Ariana isn't here." Sarah stated.
"What? Why?" I asked worried and also confused at the same time.
"She's not... she's no longer coming back again." Sarah replied.
"I'm sorry, it's because of me." Sebastian said as I just stood there staring at the box of chocolate which had fallen to the ground.
"Joshua? Joshua?" Sebastian and Sarah called out as I snapped back to reality.
"Do you know where she is now?" I asked, looky at the two in front of me.
"No!" They both replied, shaking their heads.
"So you two... Sarah didn't she give you any any clue or anything that might lead me to her." I literally begged on my knees.
"Yes!" A cold voice from behind me spoke as I turned my neck to see him.
"Jayden!"
"Jayden, do you know anything about Ariana?" I asked with folded arms.
"Yes, I know where she is." He replied, his hands in his pockets, his face expressionless.
"Then tell me." I begged.
"She's at Crown Academy."
"Crown Academy?" I frowned, so did Sarah and Sebastian.
"Yes, she got enrolled last week and she's starting today." He explained.
"Today? but...I can't leave Royal High, I've payed already." I groaned in frustration.
Why? Why is this happening to me? When I decide to come and seek for forgiveness another thing happens. What will I do now? When will I find you?
ARIANA'S POV:
I and dad where led into the principal's office by his assistant. We walked round the hallway till we got to a corner where a wooden door was as the assistant gave a slight knock on the door.
"Come in." The voice of the principal could be heard from the other end as the door burst open to reveal a chubby man wearing a black suit and a pair of glasses on his face which was slightly brought down as he welcomed us in.
"Welcome Mr Watson." He smiled as he offered I and dad a seat.
"It's our pleasure to have your ward here with us." He continued.
"Thanks." Dad smiled back.
"Welcome dear, what's your name?" The principal asked, still smiling.
"Urm... I'm Ariana." I replied.
"Oh Ariana, it's nice to have you here with us and I hope you'll enjoy your stay with us." He stated.
"I'll get a call through to the class teacher, he'll be here soon to take you there."
"Thank you." Dad said as we both got up.
"Dad I-"
"It's okay, he's not here...you don't have to worry, I'm sure you'll fit in well." Dad whispered as he held me hand.
"Thanks." I whispered back.
"Mr Philips." The principal said, as a man in a formal attire stepped into the room.
"Ariana meet your class teacher Mr Philips and Mr Philips this is Ariana your new student." The principal introduced.
"Nice to meet you." Mr Philips said as I gave him a small smile.
"Shall we?"
"Sure, bye dad."
"Bye and be good." He waved as I nodded my head and left the room with Mr Philips.
I and Mr Philips continued the walking that I once paused. I can admit the school's nice and beautiful but it's just not like Royal High. I've attended many schools and I usually missed my friends there but Royal High's different. It's like I left a part of me there which I could never forget. I sighed as I thought about the current situation.
"Are you okay?" Mr Philips asked.
"Yes I'm fine but why did you stop?" I asked politely.
"We're here. You're in class A...my class." He smiled.
"I'll introduce you to them all."
Introduce? When I was in Royal High, there wasn't any introduction just headed to class with a friend and now it's all different. I don't think I'll be able to fit in.
"Come in."
I walked into the class with Mr Philips and suddenly the noisy class became silent as everyone rushed back to their seats.
"Greet class."
"Good morning Mr Philips." The class chorused.
"Good morning to you all."
"We have a new student, you all should be nice."
"Can you please introduce yourself." Mr Philips asked nicely, smiling at me.
"Hello...I'm Ariana."
"Wow! She's so pretty." A guy yelled from the back.
"Yeah, I'll definitely ask her out." The other guy laughed.
"Really? And you'll think she'll date someone like you." Another guy scoffed.
"Shut up! I know I'm not as cool and handsome as Jordan but you don't have to be rude." The other guy snorted.
"QUIET!"
