Hogwarts: Please Graduate Soon

With Wayne's new line of stimulant potions, sleeping potions, and other products, the young wizards' wallets were nearly drained.

One day, while Wayne was having dinner in the Great Hall, he overheard Cedric complaining about Quirrell.

"I don't know if he's gone mad or if the world has changed, but he assigns us two feet of essays every week! I barely have time for Quidditch practice anymore!"

Cedric was referring to Quirrell; it was only he who assigned homework in such an insane manner. Sometimes Wayne wondered if Voldemort had suffered through relentless homework during his schooling, so he was now making them pay back double.

One class's homework could rival that of three others. However, since Voldemort was exceptionally good at teaching, he captivated all seven grades of students. So while everyone grumbled, there was no strong backlash.

The only unfortunate part was that Quirrell claimed his brain still suffered serious damage from the curse and would occasionally have episodes. So sometimes he spoke coherently, only to suddenly lapse back into his previous, nervous demeanor. Now, he was known as "Mad Quirrell."

Everyone hoped to encounter the brilliant Quirrell in class rather than the mad version.

"You could buy two useless feather pens," Wayne reminded Cedric, who instinctively covered his wallet. "Are you targeting me too?"

"I'd rather break my hand than spend money on anything other than the Firebolt 2001."

Business was thriving, and Cedric, along with the twins, had amassed quite a bit of money, particularly eyeing the new broom set to be released next year. With hope in sight, he had become even more reluctant to spend money, going to Hogsmeade solely to bring back things for Wayne but never treating himself.

Wayne couldn't help but be amazed at this miserly attitude; he decided to stop commenting on it. As the two chatted and joked, a sudden commotion erupted from the Ravenclaw table, and several students hurriedly left.

They paid it little mind and continued discussing various transfiguration topics. Shortly after, the Ravenclaws returned. The reason for the commotion soon reached the Hufflepuff side.

Wayne's expression changed…
