Hogwarts: Please Graduate Soon

Chapter 126: Hogwarts, Please Graduate Soon, Ch 68.1

During a recent Quidditch practice for Ravenclaw, Qiū got injured. There were no incidents of malicious intent, nor was anyone targeting Qiū. She fell from her broom while attempting a complex move at full speed. The injury is quite serious, and she has since been taken to the hospital wing.

"I'll go check on her. You head back to the common room," said Wayne to Cedric as they rushed towards the hospital wing after clarifying the situation.

Sighing as he watched Wayne leave, Cedric shook his head. "Tch, she's the prettiest girl in second year."

Ever since Wayne mentioned it, Cedric had started to develop a crush and was eager to find a girlfriend to avoid being the last single one later on. Unfortunately, after searching for a while, he hadn't found anyone who caught his eye. Although there were some nice upperclassmen in Ravenclaw, they were already taken.

On the other hand, with Wayne—well, it's better not to dwell on that; it's too frustrating. Cedric lamented as he pointed his wand at the table. "I'll have a glass of lemonade, please."

Second floor, hospital wing.

Madam Pomfrey had completed a series of examinations and poured a suspicious-smelling potion into Qiū's mouth, instructing her to lie down and rest. Turning to the group around her, she said, "The situation isn't serious; she's just broken three ribs and fractured her wrist—the rest are just superficial injuries.

"Once she drinks the potion, she just has to wait for the bones to heal. Stay in the hospital wing obediently for the next few days."

If this were the Muggle world, Qiū's injuries would be classified as severe. But in the wizarding world, as long as it isn't an irreversible injury caused by magic, it isn't too much of an issue. Bones can grow back.

Isaias Jersong, the captain of Ravenclaw, let out a sigh, but Madam Pomfrey's next words made everyone's hearts drop. "However, since she's broken quite a few bones, she shouldn't engage in any strenuous activities for the next two months."

"But the Quidditch match is next month!" Isaias exclaimed.

Qiū is currently the only seeker on the team; last year's seeker has already graduated. If they recruit someone new on short notice, Ravenclaw will have to prepare for the next school year instead.

Madam Pomfrey shot Isaias an annoyed glare. "What's more important, her health or Quidditch?!"

"Given her condition, it would be easy for her to sustain a secondary injury, which could lead to long-term consequences!"

"I've already told Dumbledore that such dangerous activities should be banned."

"Couldn't we replace it with a weekly health class instead?"

At the end, Madam Pomfrey grumbled about Dumbledore. She firmly opposed anything that could potentially injure young witches and wizards, especially flying lessons and Quidditch, both of which were of primary concern. The young witches and wizards felt like quails under her admonition; although they were dissatisfied, none dared to argue.

In the hospital wing, Madam Pomfrey held absolute authority, even the headmaster had to smile in her presence—they dared not challenge her.
