ALL NOVEL Chapter 25: Music Island (1/2)
"So that's what this whole thing leads up to? Beating up a fruit looking demon?" Vexalia questioned the old lady as she climbed back to the temple, "That's one way to look at it." The old woman responded with a slight chuckle, "Anyhow, the Pillar the gives access to the gate of time needs to be fully activated, however you still don't have what it takes to do so." She explained calmly.
The information made Vexalia sigh in annoyance, "Why do things need to be so hard?" She asked, "Because you need to get stronger before this adventure of yours ends." The old woman elaborated, "W-wait! So why am I here!?" Groose exclaimed in confusion, "Your role will come sooner than you might expect it." The old woman reassured before going back in the temple.
With that, Groose ran to a wall and began hitting it in frustration and Vexalia decided to just leave him to it, so she followed the old woman, "What do I do now?" She asked, "Go back to the sky and make the two rotating titans face eachother, "Rotating... Got it!" Vexalia exclaimed and hurried to go back to the sky.

Riding on her loftwing towards Skyloft once more, Vexalia felt a sense of relief at the fact she would be meeting Zelda again soon, "Mistress, I detect we are approaching the structures required to solve the riddle." Fi informed making Vexalia smile, "I knew it!" She cheered as she jumped down on the flying island next to one of the two windmills.
"Now to figure out how to turn- hold on..." Vexalia stopped as she remembered that the windmills have pinwheels on their foundation, "Hey Vexalia!" Someone called out, and at the turn of her head, Vexalia saw it was Pipit, "Oh hi! Haven't seen you in a hot minute." She greeted with a salute, "It's been six days Vexalia." Pipit corrected with a slight frown, "Oh..." Vexalia let out in realization.
Turning back to the windmill Vexalia focused on the pinwheel, "Why are you interested in that?" Pipit questioned in confusion, "Supposedly something is supposed to happen if both of the windmills face eachother." Vexalia explained before sucking in a lot of air and blowing it out at the pinwheel, causing the whole windmill to start turning and stopped when it faced the one on the other side of Skyloft.
"That's new..." The knight commented in surprise, "I still don't know how it works." Vexalia responded with a slight shrug, "If that's how it works though, I'll have to warn you that the pinwheel is broken and we don't know where it ended up." Pipit informed causing Vexalia to groan in annoyance, but then she remembered that she saw it on the surface.
"I think I know where it is, it's getting it back here that's the problem." Vexalia explained, looking to the beam of light that opens the way to the volcano, "Below the cloud barrier!?" Pipit exclaimed in shock, "That's really going to be difficult then! Even with those openings, a loftwing couldn't hope to lift the pinwheel!" Pipit said motioning to the not broken pinwheel.
That made Vexalia take pause for a moment to wonder how to carry the thing, like using the bug swarm thing, but it would be difficult to move it, "Didn't someone have a thing that could recover stuff that falls..." She brought up, remembering something of the sort, "Right Gondo! The blacksmith at the Bazaar!" Pipit remembered too, and then noticed that Vexalia just headed off without a word.
In the Bazaar, Vexalia headed straight for the blacksmith counter, "Gondo! I need that thing of yours that can retrieve things from under the cloud." She said quickly, "Hey Vex! Hey wait really?" Gondo asked, looking to the broken robot currently on his counter, "Well I'd let you use it if it worked, I've fixed all the damaged, but it's missing the extract from a really rare plant." He explained, pulling out a picture of said plant.
"Huh..." Vexalia let out as she pulled out the same exact plant out of a pocket, "What the- How did you get that!?" Gondo asked in stupor as he took the plant from Vexalia, "I found it attached to my shoe and figured it looked interesting." She explained with a smirk as Gondo got to work.
Later.
After some tinkering, the robot looked as good as new and after a bit it turned on too, "Bzz~ Scrapper unit online." It said, finishing the boot up, "It's a miracle!!" Gondo cheered at seeing the robot work, "I need your assitance." Vexalia said cutting right to the chase, "Why would help some random reddie?" Scrapper said, taking both the heroine and the blacksmith off guard.
Recovering first, Gondo scolded the unit "That's no way to speak to the person that made it so you could come back online!", with that said Scrapper looked at Vexalia, "If that's the case I'll make an exception... Later." He said with clear snark, at which point Fi came out of the blade, " Mistress, as the pinwheel of the windmill is of considerable weight, it would be important to find a way to transport it." The spirit advised, not even amusing Vexalia.
"That feeling... Fi! Is that you my beloved<3?" Scrapper asked sounding completely smitten, top which Fi seemed a bit disturbed before saying "I found a proper way to carry the pinwheel, proceed to the retrieval phase." Fi instructed, causing Vexalia to facepalm.
