Chapter 114: Madara Rebellion

"What? Madara left Konoha after a big fight with Hashirama?" asked Setsuna. "Tell me the details—how did it happen?"

"From the information we received, Madara suggested abolishing the Daimyo and letting Konoha become the leader of the world," answered the Uzukage.

"Damn, is Madara alone, or is Izuna with him?" asked Setsuna.

"He's with his brother Izuna, and the Hokage just called me to ask if Madara is here," replied the Uzukage.

"They were here a day ago, but now they've left Konoha. Izuna left a shadow clone to take care of his daughter," said Setsuna, sighing at the recklessness of both Madara and Izuna. Just a day ago, they had discussed their ideal world—a world where the Uchiha and Senju were in power, while the other villages became their subordinates.

"Do you know what's wrong with this method?" Setsuna asked.

"No, there's nothing wrong," replied Madara.

"We won't live forever, Madara. One day, we'll die, and the Uchiha and Senju won't have the power to fight every clan in the world," explained Setsuna.

"Even without us, the Uchiha can still awaken the Mangekyou Sharingan, and we can leave a method to activate the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan," responded Madara.

"Madara, listen, I'll tell you why you and Hashirama are so much stronger than the rest," said Setsuna. "Do you know about the Sage of Six Paths?"

That question finally caught the attention of both Uchiha, who had been ignoring Setsuna's arguments.

"Yeah, I've heard of him. There are many legends surrounding him," answered Madara.

"Based on my research, the Uchiha, Senju, and Uzumaki clans are descendants of the Sage of Six Paths, or by his real name, Hagoromo Otsutsuki," said Setsuna.

Madara raised an eyebrow, while Izuna's eyes widened.

"Yes, that's why the Uchiha, Senju, and Uzumaki are such powerful clans with deep heritages. Our clans have existed for a long time," explained Setsuna. "But even strong clans have their exceptions."

"Wait, how do you know all of this?" asked Madara, surprised that Setsuna knew something the former clan leader himself didn't.

"Do you think I'm just here raising a family?" retorted Setsuna.

"So, all of this is your research?" asked Izuna.

"Correct. I've done a lot of research," Setsuna confirmed. "Now, about the Uchiha and Senju—Hagoromo had two sons. The first was Indra Otsutsuki, and the second was Asura Otsutsuki."

"Indra? You mean the statue in the Uchiha clan?" Madara asked, recalling the image.

"Exactly. Indra was the genius who unlocked the Sharingan, unlike his brother," revealed Setsuna. "Asura, on the other hand, is the ancestor of the Senju and Uzumaki clans."

"This… what's the point of telling us all this?" asked Madara, still trying to piece it together.

"Hagoromo chose Asura as his successor, which led to a conflict between the brothers. Indra lost the battle but let his chakra reincarnate in his successors. You, Madara, inherited Indra's chakra, which is why you're stronger than most of us," pointed out Setsuna, directing his gaze at Madara.

"Me? Indra?" Madara asked, needing confirmation.

"Correct, Indra became jealous of Asura and caused chaos by letting his chakra reincarnate. Asura, knowing this, also allowed his chakra to reincarnate to maintain balance and peace," explained Setsuna.

"Are you saying I'm Indra?" Madara asked again.

"No, you're not Indra. It's just your chakra that comes from him. Asura and Indra passed away a long time ago," replied Setsuna. "Do you know why no other Senju besides Hashirama has Wood Style?"

"Why?" asked Madara.

"It's because Wood Style isn't a Senju kekkei genkai. It's a power granted by Hagoromo Otsutsuki to his son Asura. Only one person from the Senju clan can wield Hashirama's power in each generation," explained Setsuna.

"No wonder he's so strong," said Izuna, while Madara nodded in agreement.

"Now, do you understand why I've been against your plan?"

"No, Setsuna. You're wrong. Even after we die, our chakra passes to our descendants, meaning the Uchiha and Senju will remain strong," Madara insisted.

"Really? Do you know how long it takes to become strong like you? At least 16 years. Do you think the other villages will allow another Uchiha or Senju to reach that level in peace?" questioned Setsuna.

"We don't need to tell anyone about the Wood Style secret. It'll make Konoha seem invincible to other villages," replied Madara.

"Ugh, I'm tired of talking with you, Madara," said Setsuna, exasperated. "And you, Izuna, are you sure you want to follow Madara's plan? What about your daughter?"

"I'll follow my brother because if I stay quiet, people will target my daughter," answered Izuna. "Setsuna, I need to ask for your help."

"What is it?" asked Setsuna.

"Please protect my daughter. I'm leaving only a shadow clone in Konoha, and if it fights an intruder, the chakra will deplete, and the clone will vanish," Izuna pleaded.

"You... never mind. Just make sure to come back and take care of your daughter. Don't do anything stupid and leave her alone in this world," advised Setsuna.

Setsuna went to his lab, intending to locate Madara and Izuna via satellite.

"Jarvis, do you know the location of Uchiha Madara?" asked Setsuna.

"According to the data we've received, Uchiha Madara and Uchiha Izuna have just captured the Eight-Tails and are now heading to confront the Seven-Tails," Jarvis answered.

"Wait, the Eight-Tails? Why not the Nine-Tails?" asked Setsuna.

"According to the data, the Nine-Tails is currently missing from this world," Jarvis responded. But suddenly, the system chimed in.

"Host, have you forgotten about the Nine-Tails Perfect Jinchuriki card that you possess?" the system reminded him.

"Wait, how did I forget about the Nine-Tails card?" Setsuna muttered. "Looks like I've been so busy that I completely forgot about having that Nine-Tails Jinchuriki card."

"Haha, you're still young and already forgetting important things," the system mocked

"I have ten clones working every day, gathering information, and it's overwhelming. That's why I forgot about the Nine-Tails Perfect Jinchuriki card," said Setsuna, defending himself.

"Now I have a headache over Madara and Izuna. I just hope Izuna isn't foolish enough to leave his daughter alone to survive in this cruel world," said Setsuna, concerned.
