Chapter 430: 430 Bleach: Spear of the End, Hirako Shinji is Incinerated, The Most Loyal Man-Tosen Kaname, Unlimited Power and Unimaginable Terror.
High in the sky above the Seireitei, a beautiful golden-haired woman in silver armor and a royal red cloak was facing a humanoid monster in a hollow mask. But, it only took an instant of distraction for the woman to end in tragedy.
Hirako's sword pierced her abdomen, yet in Artoria's gaze, there was no pain or despair, only regret. She closed her eyes for a moment as the face of the one she longed for most appeared in front of her.
"I'm sorry..."
Artoria opened her eyes and saw her blood float as if the world had slowed down. She was supposed to go to Allen, but she couldn't teleport to him.
"..." She pressed her lips tightly together. From the beginning, she was one of the dolls that stayed closest to Allen, yet she chose to defeat a troublesome enemy rather than stay by his side.... she should have never left his side.
The hollow opened its mouth and let out a roar. Like all hollows, it wished to evolve and grow stronger, and devouring others was the easiest path.
Artoria's mind was still teetering between past and present, she even ignored the danger.
Several memories flashed before her; a recurring one was of her as she guarded him in his sleep; in those moments of silence, she sometimes watched him sleep. He seemed so vulnerable that she couldn't leave his side... her beloved Master... beyond being her Master he is the person she loves.
"Perhaps being a knight suits me more than being a King or Goddess... and yet, I am here, not there!"
While Hirako seemed ready to bite her, in response she looked at him with all the coldness in the world. "Rhongomyniad."
"RRRRUUUAAAGH–?!"
The hollow Hirako Shinji was struck by a lance of light that pierced his stomach.
"Truly... I didn't want to use it..."
The Rhongomyniad lance was the reason Artoria became a complete divine spirit, losing her heart, her humanity, and her memories.
Hirako did not retreat but instead became frantic as his stomach healed at an absurd speed. It was as if Artoria was returning the favor to Hirako.
"GRRAAAAHHHH!"
Hirako screamed loudly as his Reiatsu increased. Artoria looked at the monster without even blinking. Perhaps her younger self would have felt pity for such a creature, but the goddess within her felt only indifference.
Artoria looked at the sacred lance, the equivalent of the Longinus, the hidden pillar of the world, which originally served as a pillar that united the outer layer, reality, and the reverse side where the gods resided, unable to set foot on the world. Legend had it that if this union dissolved, reality would be torn asunder, and a new era of gods would begin.
...
Angelica (Gilgamesh) furrowed her brow as she watched Artoria standing in the sky holding the "Spear of the End."
"Tsk."
For her, who always despised the gods, a new era of them was the last thing she wanted to see. However, this was not her world, so none of this was meant to happen.
"However, it's surprising that you can lift the restrictions by your own will..." murmured the blonde, while beside her, the hollow Hachigen, whose mask was like a tribal mask, was struck by a large mace as he tried to defend himself with a barrier.
...
The lance has 13 restrictions that suppress its true power. In a restricted state, it only reaches the level of a "noble spirit," like any other, which for a heroic spirit in the Fate world is equivalent to their zanpakuto in this world.
Hirako instinctively decided to attack, feeling that something bad would happen if he allowed more time to pass. He wasn't wrong. Artoria felt that the Rhongomyniad was no longer the same as before. This was because, being a doll and not a goddess, the lance had lost its connection to the Fate world but, in return, had gained more freedom. Added to that was the steady increase in the power of a doll, especially in this world filled with spiritual energy in its purest state. As a result...
"First restriction lifted..."
The lance had a white hue, with the appearance of an elongated cone, resembling a lance used in a knightly joust. After lifting its first restriction, it acquired a white glow as the mana originally used for its activation mixed with the spiritual energy of this world. By the time the third restriction was lifted, Hirako's Bankai lost its effect, and his true location appeared.
Artoria looked at Hirako in silence. His power was to affect the perception of all things, turning right into left and the sky into the earth. However, that power was neutralized once some restrictions were lifted.
"This lance acted as an anchor, separating reality from illusion. Your Bankai will no longer work..."
"RAAARGH!"
Hirako instinctively felt fear, and like any hollow, he attacked as a first instinct of survival: "Eat before being eaten." However, that decision cost him dearly.
"Disappear..."
With the fourth restriction lifted, multiple beams of light spread across the sky, resembling tree branches before falling toward Hirako. He managed to dodge a few but was hit by the majority.
"GRUUHHHHAAAAH!"
His scream grew louder as he was pierced by the beams. The light constantly burned his soul, preventing his regeneration, and all he could do was scream.
Artoria looked at the sky that had turned black and tightened the grip on her lance.
"How pathetic, I didn't arrive in time..."
It was a good thing Allen was okay, but the fact that he could overcome his predicament only made her feel useless. She should have been there, no matter the circumstances.
...
When Rebecca and 2B felt the danger to Allen, their minds, which were usually alert to everything, focused solely on Allen. That was a mistake that allowed Tosen Kaname to approach and attack them.
"Cry Suzumushi (Cricket)..." Kaname coldly activated his Shikai. Rebecca and 2B tried to turn to face their opponent, but they immediately fell to the ground. Kaname had struck both girls with a sonic wave to their heads.
Tosen Kaname is the captain of the Ninth Division. He was sent by Urahara to stop any dolls that wanted to help Allen.
Once his purpose was fulfilled, Kaname allowed himself to analyze the situation. Seeing humans invading the Soul Society was the most absurd thing he could imagine.
"Damn..." Rebecca growled.
"Aren't you unconscious yet? Don't try to get up. My zanpakuto has two activation commands. One of them allows me to knock my opponents unconscious...the other will kill you miserably"
Urahara's order was to incapacitate them as a priority, so Tosen used his Shikai without giving them time to react.
"This is also justice..." Tosen prepared to leave.
"Wait!"
Rebecca fired. Kaname moved, dodging the shot aimed at his heart, and Rebecca only managed to graze Kaname's arm.
"Human world weapons?!" Kaname couldn't believe what he was seeing.
Conventional weapons shouldn't be able to hurt him, but these weapons were modified to use spiritual energy as a medium, which Rebecca stored in cores implanted into the weapon in question.
2B also had the same modifications in her weapons, including her katana. Both girls were catching Kaname by surprise.
Kaname could not understand, could two humans endure the Shikai of a captain with a human body?
What he didn't know was that the sound waves caused by his Shikai didn't work on the two girls, one being an android and the other with significant technological modifications, including enhancements to her brain.
"Tsk, it doesn't matter. My justice won't bend."
"Justice?" Rebecca mocked, "You're one of the traitor captains, what are you saying, idiot?! There's no justice in a vulgar traitor!"
"What?!"
Kaname furrowed his brow, his irritation at being insulted and mocked for his ideals only surpassed by his surprise at finding out that the invaders knew about his betrayal, something that was secret to the other captains.
"I don't know how you knew that, but it doesn't matter. No one will believe invaders like you!"
"Shut up!"
"Rebecca... we need to hurry..."
2B was worried about Allen. The black sky indicated that he was okay. Although they couldn't go to his side, they could still feel through their connection that he was fine now, but there was a slight concern between the two girls.
"Bankai: Suzumushi Tsuishiki: Enma Kōrogi (Final form of cricket: Garden of Silence)."
Tōsen held his sword in his right hand and placed the ring of the sword in his left. The Suzumushi ring started spinning rapidly, releasing Tōsen's spiritual energy until the ring grew to Tōsen's height. It multiplied into nine identical rings that began covering a vast area, and once in position, they started generating a dark void.
In that place, anyone who entered would lose all their senses, including the ability to sense Reiatsu, with the only exception being touch.
Kaname felt total victory and took his time before attacking the two girls. Shinigami depend on their ability to sense Reiatsu, and losing all their senses made them practically incapable of fighting.
Kaname sensed that both girls were not moving and took the opportunity to review the situation on other battlefronts, 'Ichimaru Gin has a tough job containing Unohana Yachiru... I can't sense Urahara-sama but it's normal... Komamura's Reiatsu is declining... too many unknown intruders''.
"And now..." Kaname prepared to finish off both girls.
"That's why I told you that you were stupid." Rebecca's mocking voice reached Kaname's ears, which should be impossible.
A laser beam pierced Kaname's stomach, while a sword sliced him from behind.
Kaname turned his head and saw 2B. Amazingly, she was unaffected by the Bankai.
"W-what?! Argh!"
The Bankai shattered, and Kaname fell to the ground in disbelief.
"Emergency protocol, automatic response system...."
The mechanical voice of a girl echoed around Rebecca. Kaname looked helplessly at her, noticing the two floating drones by her side, each with a single red, blinking eye.
"Enemy neutralized. Returning to suspension mode."
Both drones shrank and retracted into Rebecca's coat, appearing as nothing more than keychains.
"Wow, this guy was dangerous. Unfortunately, he had the bad luck of facing his natural enemies~"
In her original form, 2B was an android, with synthetic senses immune to Kaname's powers. Rebecca, on the other hand, had her preparations for such situations, so it didn't matter if her senses were affected.
Kaname coughed up blood, 'damn I'm hurt!'. He had the option of revealing his power as a Visored, but doing so would expose his connection to the missing captains.
"I have no choice... All for Urahara-sama!" Kaname prepared himself, but his body suddenly froze.
His gaze shifted to a figure walking toward him. The figure seemed surrounded by a dark aura. Though Kaname couldn't see it, his instincts screamed of something terrifying, paralyzing even a captain like him.
"Allen!"
"Master!"
Unlike Kaname, Rebecca and 2B's cries were filled with joy, relief, and excitement. They ran to Allen without concern for appearances. Rebecca threw herself into his arms, and Allen smiled as he caught her.
"...!" 2B stopped at the last moment, regaining her composure, but Allen pulled her into an embrace.
"Master?"
The android's cheeks flushed pink.
"No need to hold back, 2B~"
"...yes~" 2B hid her face, unable to meet Allen's gaze. Still, her arms wrapped lightly around him, while Rebecca showered Allen's face with kisses, clinging tightly to him.
...
...
"Impossible! You shouldn't be here!" Kaname's shout was filled with despair. 'This man was Urahara-sama's target. If he's here, does that mean Urahara-sama lost?'
Kaname didn't want to think about it. He stood, still wounded.
Allen let Rebecca kiss him on the neck while he was indifferent to Kaname, "Hm? Are you a henchman of Urahara Kisuke?"
"What happened to Urahara-sama?!" His anger flared as he considered the horrifying possibility, overtaking his fear. "What did you do to Urahara-sama?!"
"I killed him..." Allen's response dripped with disdain for such hypocrisy. For Kaname, it was acceptable to try killing someone but unacceptable to be killed in return.
Kaname got up from the ground with blood pouring from his wounds but he didn't care.
"That's impossible..." Kaname quickly denied it. "Urahara-sama is the most intelligent man in the world, someone who can bend reality and reason! Someone like you could never kill him. You'll pay for your insolence!"
Kaname placed his hand over his own face, summoning an immense amount of dark spiritual energy, corrupted and swirling like a tornado around him, obscuring him from view. His power grew.
Allen stroked Rebecca and 2B's heads. Under different circumstances, the girls might have argued to handle this opponent themselves, but the look in Allen's eyes left no room for discussion. They obeyed silently.
Allen began walking toward Kaname with an amused smile. The dense reiatsu dispersed, revealing Tōsen Kaname's transformed appearance.
This was the form a Visored should take from the start...
Tōsen's Visored mask resembled a full white helmet, devoid of facial features. A vertical ridge ran down the center of the mask, extending from the top of his head to his lower mouth. His shoulders were adorned with protective plates covering part of his torso.
Unlike Visoreds like Hirako, whose inner hollows took control of their bodies, Tōsen Kaname was the only Visored in this world who had fully subdued his inner hollow.
"I will not allow a monster like you to exist!"
Kaname vanished using "Sonido," the Arrancar's high-speed movement technique, similar to Shunpo.
He appeared beside Allen, delivering a powerful kick. Allen raised his arm to block, and the force caused massive destruction behind him. Winds rippled outward in shockwaves as Kaname unleashed his fury on Allen without restraint.
Kaname was Aizen's most loyal follower—perhaps the only one who would stay by his side even in betrayal. In this world, that absolute loyalty had been usurped by Urahara, turning Kaname into his most faithful servant.
Kaname struck repeatedly, his blows intercepted by Allen's arms as they sped through the Seireitei.
"Bastard!"
The stronger Kaname proved himself to be, the more frustrated he became. His opponent's strength made the possibility of Urahara's death seem increasingly real.
"It's a lie!"
Kaname had been by Urahara's side for over a century, witnessing miracle after miracle. Of course, Urahara's science bordered on the miraculous.
"What's wrong?" Allen caught Kaname's fist and delivered a blow to his stomach, displacing his organs and making him vomit blood.
"Urgh! W-What?!"
Kaname felt a void in his mind as the massive damage coursed through his body. How? How could a single strike hurt him so much?
Kaname decided to enter his Resurrección form, a technique exclusive to Arrancars that granted even greater power. However, Allen struck his face, shattering his mask and sending him hurtling across the Seireitei faster than sound.
Allen appeared above him, stepping on Kaname's chest.
"Ahhhhggg!"
"Do you really want to beat me?"
"I WILL KILL YOU!" As a Visored, Kaname had instant regeneration, so despite the severity of his injuries, he could recover. "I REFUSE TO ACCEPT THIS! IN THE NAME OF JUSTICE, I WILL DESTROY YOU!"
Allen silently observed Kaname's reiatsu surging into the sky like a pillar. The man grabbed his zanpakuto, holding it vertically.
"Grillar Grillo."
"Not only do you have a Hollow mask as a Visored, but also a Resurrection way like an Arrancar...that's almost unbelievable."
Kaname ignored Allen as his body transformed into a massive, grotesque black cricket. Unlike before, this form granted him the ability to see.
Allen blinked, unimpressed. "Hey."
"I can see!" Kaname was ecstatic, marveling at the world's beauty and colors for the first time. "This is the gift Urahara-sama gave me. You could never understand the magnificence of his existence."
"That's true," Allen mocked, "but that doesn't change the fact that I killed him."
"YOU BASTARD!" Kaname attacked with green energy beams, "Ceros," that shot from his eyes.
Allen slapped the beams aside with his hand, destroying them.
"What?!" Kaname paused in his rage, unable to comprehend what had just happened.
"What's wrong? Giving up already? Do you want me to send you to hell to reunite with your beloved master?"
"Shut up! Take this: Los Nueve Aspectos!"
Kaname used his insect legs to create green circles in the air. Once completed, the circles unleashed sonic waves capable of devastating an opponent internally.
Allen didn't dodge. Instead, he allowed the waves to hit him, but they didn't even tear his clothing.
"No matter the cost, on this moonless night, my justice will shine!"
Allen's smile vanished, replaced by indifference.
"It's not nighttime."
Kaname frowned, looking up at the sky. No matter how you saw it, it was night. Even someone seeing it for the first time could understand that.
"Stop spouting nonsense! Everything you say is just a filthy lie!"
Kaname now saw Allen as a despicable being who delighted in deceiving others—a personality opposed to a man of high virtue like himself.
"Lying? Why would I need to lie to you, giant cricket?"
"I..."
"That up there isn't night. It's my power... just a fraction of it."
Allen snapped his fingers, and the sky returned to normal.
"Huh?"
"You see?" Allen snapped his fingers again, and the darkness reappeared.
"a... but.....a" Kaname's arms dropped slowly, his mouth slightly open. What had just happened?
"Tōsen Kaname, weren't you going to kill me?"
An innocent yet menacing smile appeared on Allen's face.
Kaname's body trembled, his breathing quickened, and his eyes darted around. "WHAT ARE YOU?... WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU?!"
Allen continued walking toward Kaname. "The one you and your master tried to kill."
Kaname staggered back, then turned to flee. "AAAAHHHHHH!"
Allen's smile faded, replaced by indifference as he watched Kaname soar through the sky, trying to escape. But no matter where he went, the sky remained dark.
Allen pointed a finger at Kaname. "Don't expect mercy after threatening my girls..."
Kaname, sensing danger, looked back. With his enhanced vision, he saw Allen staring at him with glowing scarlet eyes from miles away.
"NO! NO! URAHARA-SAMA, HELP ME! NOOO!"
With a simple motion, a black flash struck Kaname, piercing him. He vomited blood and fell from the sky.
"Sleep, Shinigami of Justice..." Allen turned away, no longer looking in Kaname's direction.
