She felt her mana fuse into the [Idea]…
She felt the skill suffuse the pink-haired girl who was now holding her hands and soon enough the blue screen describing the pink-haired girl appeared in front of her. It surprised her, the status felt more palpable than before, it was quite the odd sensation to feel. The shadow energy in the ambient couldn't interact well enough with the status screen. And she could feel the space the [Idea fueled] skill had in the space.
And sure enough, it was quite the sight to see, "You have been working hard, haven't you Rossie?" The blonde asked while going over all her stats.
The pink-haired girl just nodded while looking to the side.
"And yes Rossie...I am seeing you." Said the blonde girl after seeing the Condition line.
So far only her mother had shown that one...And Arthur might have, but when she used the skill on him she hadn't known of [Idea] so perhaps that was why it hadn't shown at that point? Was something only shown when someone [Identified] knew they were on the other end of her skill?

For now, she had more important things at hand.
A new screen had shown up...Perhaps it was because she was holding hands with Rossie while using her skill? Perhaps was because Rossie was someone important to her?
She didn't know. But the skill was telling her she could [Link] Rossie to herself...She almost said yes without thinking... If nothing else, this would make sure that Rossie would never be under the thumb of any [Hero]...Safe from their mind-molding influence.
Mother always spoke about how all the [Hero's Servants] always put their hero at the foremost, it was one step beyond what one would do for a friend. She, for instance, wouldn't mind burning the town hall to the grounds for what they did to Rossie.
But she had a few months of living and knowing her...The tales her mother spoke about, told her of party members of a few days sacrificing themselves for a stranger who was hyper-focused on a task.
No friendship was built, half of them had been contracted mercenaries or soldiers for their kingdoms! Their loyalty shouldn't be to that point and not to that [Hero].
But...Linking Rossie to herself...Wouldn't that be the same? Wasn't she taking advantage of this girl? She was after all [The misplaced Saint of Healing] that was in search of her [Hero].
"What is it Eli-Eli?" The pink-haired girl must have sensed the turmoil in the blonde. As she was asking with a worried face at the blonde "Is there a problem?"
Elizabeth just answered "My skill is offering you the same advantages that Selen fished out of me...And some extras..." And with some focus, she willed her shadows to trace the letters and messages in the air.
After a few moments, her shadows melded into the screen and it gave a darker blue texture "Oooh, so that's how your skill looks?" Said the pink-haired girl while reading the text.
For some reason, the warning was blurred at the bottom, as if it was only meant to be read by Elizabeth "Well, the answer is easy enough. Isn't it?" Said the pink-haired girl.
'She is right...Who would link themselves like this...' The blonde girl thought. She was...Sad... She wouldn't judge nor resent the pink-haired girl for her decision though.
"Yes." But the answer surprised her nonetheless when an affirmative word came from her friend.
And she felt it too "Hmm....❤️" followed by a soft moan by her friend and then the eyes of the girl shined once again quite brightly her heart motif. One almost could see them wanting to exit her eyes...
And after that she too felt it, a jolt of electricity coursing her spine that slowly and quite methodically traveled all the way to her nape and then in one swift motion rose to her head.
"Aahmm....." Once again she felt a surge of pleasure courses her body. Followed by a new message appearing in her view.

And after that, her skill was telling her that the linking was done, besides that nothing new changed in the status screen of her friend. No new additional titles...Nothing to say that they were linked in some way. If anything she just had this...Awareness that they shared [Something].
"[Status]" Said the pink-haired girl, bringing a screen of her own status screen. Elizabeth was surprised that she could see that screen even if she wasn't the one to summon it. And she didn't even have the skill in her status...Neither in the one Elizabeth summoned nor the one that Rossie summoned.
"[Identify]" Said the pink-haired girl while looking at her hands, making Elizabeth giggle at that since she had done the same.
"Focus Rossie, we gotta move on to your evolution now." Added the blonde while pointing at the [Origin] on the status screen that the pink-haired girl had in front of herself.
And sure enough, focusing her will on the [Origin] she saw a new blue screen pop up in front of her.

"Ready?" Said the blonde girl, for her part, her friend just smiled and nodded.
So after taking a deep breath, Elizabeth willed the answer 'Yes' and the confirmation took place.
This next part Elizabeth dismissed as fast as it showed up, she would not take the choices from her friend. She would allow her to be what she wanted...
So she just saw her friend close her eyes and focus inwardly, she was probably inside her soulscape, but she wasn't sure. Since she didn't evolve her [Origin] and hers was high grade from the start...
She wasn't actually sure what to make out of hers, but if anything she just hoped her friend would find a way to make her magic better... Who knows, maybe she could even fix herself!
For now though, since Rossie was busy inside her own [Soulscape]... Elizabeth had more things to do...
Mainly with the [Status] of her friend...
She had soo many titles...Some sound more worrisome than others.
"[Identify]" so without missing a beat she sharped her will into her mana and used her skill once again. Her mana didn't even drop more than a single digit this time.
While the first [Identify] the one that brought the status screens of her friend had consumed around 10% - 20%. This one that was focused on her title list came way easier. Was it the link she had enabled with her?
Only time would tell, and if her friend kept advancing at that speed, she would soon enough outpace her after all.
For the several titles that her friend had were displayed in front of her.

She was destined to be one of the heroes meant to save a world at peril, but the main hero choose to forsake said world, so the heroes were lost in the transmigration cycle and now wander the world searching for their light. They are attracted to the hero and will follow their hero without a doubt. If they don't find their chosen hero, they will follow someone else. —--------------------- The bearer of the title was one of four heroes to be summoned into a doomed world. They were meant to work on a solution to save the world from the dimensional ravages that were consuming the world. After a catastrophe hit the world thanks to the workings of external forces, the bearer of the title got sent into another world. This severed her link to the world she was supposed to save. The interdimensional storms harmed the bearer’s soul, ravaging its Soul and leaving the Saint of Healing in grave danger. Her soul is mending (Albeit slowly). Thanks to the damage to the soul, the bearer of this title might be…Odd. [It is advised for the bearer of the title to enjoy soul-mending activities, such as enjoying the world, finding and doing love, and in general being a better person to the world] |
She...wasn't sure what to think. The original title was there, with some addendums on it about the state Rossie was in...And it was bad, it made her stomach revolt when she found the full description.
She was aware that Akira wasn't normal, she was somewhat aware that every [Misplaced] party member was...Odd. But to have proof of how [Damaged] they were...
She couldn't...She was having a hard time holding her tears back once again. Even at this moment, her friend was inside her soulscape with a smile on her face. She could feel the ebb of mana in her body and how it was irradiating all over her body. As the [Origin] was reshaping the [Soulscape] of her friend. The shadows in the room danced around both girls in a tranquilizing way, she felt as if only a casual touch would be enough to enter into the soulscape of her friend as the shadows enveloped the place.
But she refrained herself. Instead, she focused on the task at hand. The state of Rossie's Soul.
The information provided by her skill said that her soul was being nurtured and healed. That doing 'soul mending activities' would be enough to make the healing not only faster but more effective. So she would do it, she would shower her friend with all the love she would ever need!
For what was friendship for...If not to be with those you cared for. She couldn't help her much in the 'Doing' part, but she would help her as best as she could nonetheless!
Elizabeth was if nothing else someone dedicated to the cause once she decided on something!
If her friend needed to be pampered and showered with love she would do the showering!
Also, she wasn't blushing at the thought of 'Doing love' with her pink-haired friend!

"MOVING ON!" Declared the blonde girl while dismissing the status screen and moving on to the next problem!

She didn't want Rossie to worry, nor she wanted her to get close to Akira. He should know about those that were to be his partners in that world... She wondered why he hadn't got closer to either Rossie or Michael. Perhaps he also had suffered some Soul damage in the travel? She didn't think the [God] that gave him those skills would help him run away... That was a nice thought to have.
But for now, she moved on...She would do a full [Identify] on him the next time she saw him... On him and on Rena...Perhaps on Michael? Nah.

The bearer of the title has chosen to dedicate herself to another person, so long she stays true to her feelings she will always know if the person she dedicated herself to is alive and in what conditions, and while this does not allow the user to know where said person is, it allows to know the general direction they are in. If the other person is in danger, this will grant a boost to the overall stats of the user so that they fight for their loved ones. If the target of dedication is at a distance the user can’t arrive, the user can sacrifice their lifespan to teleport to their location. |
"....what?" Said flabbergasted the blonde girl, and indeed...What?
Her friend it seemed had found someone to link herself to...Wait...Was this her fault?
Did the whole [Linking] that her skill provides do this?
But she didn't see that on Selen...? So how or when did Rossie [Link] herself to someone? Perhaps her friend had some secret lover somewhere?
She didn't think her friend could hide that...After all her whole thing was heart motifs so she would surely write it somewhere, like how she liked to write her name on hearts and put it in the common area in their apartment...
Or how she bought a pair of keychains with names on each half of the heart and gave her the one with the 'Rossie' name while keeping the one that had her own name on it...
Or how she always took care of the laundry and breakfast even though they were supposed to rotate the household chores...
If she had a boyfriend she could at least present him to her! She needed to judge if that man was good enough for her Rossise for f#cks sake!
"...That one stays as it is." Said the blonde girl while dismissing the screen. Nope, she was leaving that as it was. If Rossie didn't want to speak about her love interest who it seems she was willing to sacrifice lifespan to help she could keep her secrets!
'...At the very least her love interest should help her in the mending of her soul... Even in the doing love thing...' Was what the blonde girl thought while turning her attention to the next screen.

"AGAIN?!?" Said in a frustrated tone the girl while the shadows in the background trashed one of the surviving chairs. "I WILL CHOP YOUR BALLS AND SHOVE THEM SO FAR YOUR ASS THAT THEY WILL POP OUT OF YOUR MOUTH!"
After swearing at the missing black-haired runaway hero the blonde girl pointed one of her fingers at the last addendums in the blue screen and willed shadows to obscure it, leaving only the rewards of the [Title].
It seemed to work if the feedback her skill gave her was to be trusted, so it was a nice thing to know that she could hide the information without verbal commands.
She did make a mental note to try and see if she could get one of the old war veterans friends of her father would be willing to go and castrate the black-haired hero... One of them ought to have turned to [Villainy]...

Second evolution on the title progression to achieve the [Hero] rank, it allows the user to have a firm mentality and to grant a bonus to the stats the harder the fight turns against them, so long their goals align with the greater good for mankind. The bonus is calculated as a third of the user's stats to allot in their desired way. |
After making sure her friend hadn't woken up from her trance by her ruckus she found out Nyx always loyal was behind Rossie with a couple of more corporeal dragons.One dressed in a Buttler outfit and another one dressed in a maid outfit.
"Why?" Was the only thing she could say while Nyx made some motions and each of those took from Rossie's ears one earplug each. She was grateful for the quick thinking...But also wondered why they didn't just...Use shadows to keep the sound of her profanities at bay...
But enough with that, she just needed to focus on the last one, and since the mana in Rossie seemed to be calming if her shadow sense was to be believed...She focused on that for now.
"Champion huh..." It sounded almost like the previous one as [Awakened]. But this one seemed more in line with what a [Hero] was supposed to be.
The description also stated that it was a work in progress towards the [Hero] rank... But...Akira didn't have this one?
She was sure it wasn't on her previous [Identify] so was this one hidden behind some protection that she needed to pierce with her [Idea] Infused [Skill]?
It seemed that so long as Rossie worked towards the better of the world she would get a nice boost, so she was happy about that. And since her friend was such a cute little thing it was obvious she was already working for making the world a better place!
She wondered how her friend would use her bonus. She didn't see any extra points in her status...At least not like her father that had extra points...
Perhaps he had earned them in some way by using skills or something?
He didn't have extra titles at the very least...Not that she was sure if her [Identify] had been a full one since her mana had made a dive to the negative values...But now... Now she would need to check when she was able to withstand the backslash...
And perhaps do a one-over with her [Identify] into Akira, Rena, and Michael...Those were the prime suspects for having one of the same titles as Rossie...So many things to do...And she just wanted to explore the city!
