Struggling to turn her head, she looked toward the blurred face of the Snake Princess on the high throne.

...

[Inside the palace, Hancock playfully touched the round belly of the Snake Princess, blinking her eyes as she asked, "What name do you plan to give the little princess, Snake Princess?"]

[The Snake Princess gently smiled, stroking Hancock's black hair, "How about you name her?"]

"Really? You can't go back on it!" Hancock's eyes sparkled with excitement as if she had already made a plan. She cheerfully suggested, "How about calling her 'Luffy'?"

Suzuran, unable to hold back, exclaimed, "That doesn't sound like a girl's name at all!"

"What's it to you?!" Hancock turned around and made a face, pulling down her lower eyelid and sticking out her tongue.

...

On the high throne, the Snake Princess instinctively stroked her already flat abdomen.

She paused slightly, surprised.

...

[After a long absence of more than half a year, the Kujapirate ship slowly sailed into Kuja Island.]

[Amidst the cheering crowd, Suzuran took out a small Den Den Mushi from her arms and, at the moment Hancock disembarked, quietly placed it in the corner of her clothing.]

[The pregnant Snake Princess glanced at her but did not pay attention, lifting the curtain to enter the monkey-girl palanquin and making her way back to the palace.]

...

In the arena, the atmosphere was filled with wails, and everyone was confused about why the Snake Princess wanted to execute Hancock.

At that moment, the Snake Princess stood up from her throne and stepped forward.

An invisible aura swept across the entire arena in an instant.

It was as if a mute button had been pressed, abruptly silencing the cries of anguish.

Including the red-eyed Boa sisters, everyone stared blankly at the Snake Princess standing before the high throne.

"I know you don't understand why I must execute Boa Hancock. In fact, I don't wish to do this either… But Hancock has committed a crime that cannot be violated in this country!"

The Snake Princess waved her hand, and the pet snake lingering at her side brought a small Den Den Mushi and another amplification Den Den Mushi to Suzuran's palm.

"…" On the stage, Hancock, bound to the cross, lowered her gaze.

...

["Hancock! The evidence is conclusive, do you still want to argue?"]

[Amidst Suzuran's angry scolding, Hancock opened her mouth, staring at the small Den Den Mushi in her hand, speechless and silent.]

[This was the matter of the day before yesterday. Hancock had gone to the palace as usual and was surprised to see that the Snake Princess was no longer bloated, having returned to her former self.]

["Eh, where's Luffy?" Hancock approached, incredulously touching the Snake Princess's flat belly, "I haven't been here for just half a month, how could she just disappear?"]

[The Snake Princess stroked her black hair, and Suzuran jumped out, holding a small Den Den Mushi…]

...

Suzuran, with a serious expression, approached while holding two Den Den Mushi.

"The crime Hancock has committed is allowing men to enter this country!" Suzuran raised both Den Den Mushi and shouted, "This is the most unforgivable crime in our country!!!"

As soon as this was said, the arena fell into a deeper silence, utterly still.

No one expected to hear such an answer.

Kasumos covered her mouth, "How could this…?"

Second sister Sandersonia and third sister Marigold clenched their fists, their hearts tightening.

They recalled that period over a year ago, remembering the events of the two months after their elder sister returned… When did it start? Their elder sister's training became increasingly absent-minded; she would vanish after training, only to return home in the evening or even later, sometimes looking utterly exhausted…

"Could it be…?"

"Elder sister…"

Tears streamed down the sisters' faces as they looked at their elder sister, bound on the cross frame in the arena, feeling a deep heartache.

The mini Den Den Mushi spoke, playing a recording:

"Have you gotten taller?" It was Hancock's voice, echoing in the arena.

"You've gotten weaker! Or perhaps… I've just gotten stronger!" This was a voice unfamiliar to everyone. The tone was youthful yet rough, very different from a woman's voice.

Is this the voice of a man? Most of the Kuja Island residents in the audience were hearing a man's voice for the first time.

"…When you were traveling away, I was training hard!"

"…When you weren't around, Giorno was training on that Rusukaina Island, fighting those extraordinary beasts…"

"…Jolyne, you've mastered Kenbunshoku Haki (Observation Haki) and Busoshoku Haki (Armament Haki)… You're quite impressive! No wonder you both have bounties with so many zeros…"

The voices of conversations, either possibly belonging to a man, Hancock's, or another voice that sounded like a girl, resonated through the arena via the amplification of Den Den Mushi.

Suzuran took out two bounty papers, which were for Liam and Robin, or more precisely, for Chopper Giorno, and Jolyne.

"Boa Hancock is harboring two pirates who are wanted in the outside sea on our island!" Suzuran shouted, "Pirates are insignificant; we are a nation of pirates— but one of them, named Giorno, is a genuine boy! A man! The evidence is irrefutable; Hancock has committed the gravest crime against our nation's law!!!"

Her roar echoed through the amplification of Den Den Mushi, stirring up a wave of shock and disbelief.

Women could hardly believe it, but faced with such clear evidence, they had no choice but to accept it.

That beloved girl truly violated the most unforgivable law of their nation!

"Hancock…" Cosmos covered her forehead in pain.

"Elder sister…" Sonia and Mari didn't know what to do, only able to continue crying.

Even if she violated the law, it shouldn't mean she had to be killed, right?

That's their elder sister! The beloved Boa Hancock!

...

"Death?" Suzuran exclaimed, looking at Snake Princess in disbelief.

Snake Princess gently caressed her protruding belly and said lightly, "Since she violated the fundamental law of our nation, she naturally must be executed as a warning to others."

Suzuran could hardly believe it, "But that's Hancock! She…"

Even Suzuran, who deeply despised men, after obtaining the evidence of Hancock's crime with the mini listening Den Den Mushi, never thought it would lead to Hancock's execution.

After all, it was Hancock!

Even if she committed a crime, there should at least be a chance for repentance, right?

Light sentences for serious crimes and no sentences for minor offenses weren't impossible…

Suzuran hesitated, "As long as we can force Hancock to reveal the whereabouts of Giorno and the others, that should be enough, right? There's no need to…"

...

"No matter how she is interrogated, Hancock refuses to disclose any information regarding those two pirates…"

From the high platform, Snake Princess addressed all the citizens of the nation, "Since she is shielding men and harboring pirates from the outside sea, she has clearly made her decision…"

In the stands, many were already crying to the point of collapse, fainting.

Women who loved and even pampered Hancock couldn't bear to watch any longer, crying as they covered their eyes and ears.

The two sisters from the Boa family cried uncontrollably, looking at their elder sister, who was bound on the cross frame in the arena, in a state of utter disgrace, hoarsely shouting, "Elder sister… don't leave us…"

"…" Hancock, bound on the cross frame, remained silent.

The pirate warriors on both sides, holding swords, felt sorrowful and couldn't help but say, "Hancock, just tell Lady Snake Princess where that man pirate is! Lady Snake Princess will definitely let you go!"

Hancock glanced at them with disdain, curling her lip.

"I just don't know if the people she is shielding are worth her life…"

In front of the high platform, Snake Princess lightly waved her hand.

"Execute her."

Those words echoed throughout the arena.

Once again, everyone fell silent, either tense or grief-stricken; a large number of women directly fainted, their eyes rolling back.

Cosmos tightly embraced Sander and Mari, who had already cried to the point where no sound came out.

On the platform, two Kuja pirate warriors drew their swords, biting their lips as they approached Hancock.

On the cross frame, Hancock showed no fear, only a lingering glance towards the audience, in the direction of her two younger sisters.

The Snake Princess's face seemed to cast a shadow as she turned to walk back to her throne.

The glinting blades were raised high.

The mere chill seemed to sever a strand of Hancock's black hair.

Suzuran couldn't bear to watch any longer, heartbroken, and closed her eyes.

"How unfortunate…" Hancock lowered her head, closing her eyes, thinking, "I still don't know what giving birth is like… Where did Luffy go? What does she look like? I had a gift I wanted to give her…"

Just as Hancock could feel the coldness of the blade's edge descending upon her nape…

A gust of wind swept past above Hancock's head.

Clang! Clang! The sound of two crisp clinks, followed by the clatter of swords hitting the ground.

Hancock opened her eyes wide.

On the high platform, Snake Princess, who had been intently watching the execution with white-knuckled fingers, suddenly stood up.

Just now, two arcs of light flew from outside the platform, severing the swords of the Kuja Pirate warriors aimed at Hancock!

"Ah…"

A cloud of mist had appeared above Hancock's head at some point.

A sigh drifted gently from this cloud of mist.

"You, you really are a bit silly…"
