I'm Not Interested in Devil Fruits

Chapter 184: INIIDF-Chapter 181 Kill Him

Hearing the familiar voice, Hancock suddenly looked up!

Seeing Giorno's face faintly appear in the cloud above, Hancock was momentarily stunned before immediately shouting, "What are you doing! Who asked you to save me? Get out of here!"

Hancock's screams from the arena, along with the strange cloud and the voice coming from it— the same voice as the one played by Snake Princess's Den Den Mushi— left the hundreds of women in the audience utterly shocked.

The strange man had truly appeared!

"What kind of monster is that?"

"Don't move!"

The two Kuja Pirate warriors, whose execution blades had been cut down by Liam's Rankyaku, were startled. Looking up at the thick clouds above them, they immediately picked up their snake-shaped bows, drew arrows, and aimed at the strange cloud.

Logia-type Devil Fruits are rare, and even though they often traveled with pirate ships, it was unusual to see a Devil Fruit that allowed the user to become elemental.

Liam ignored them; the cloud condensed into his upper body as he leaned forward towards Hancock, who was bound on the cross.

"Stay away from her!"

"Step back!"

The two Kuja Pirate warriors, without hesitation, shot arrows at the half-cloud, half-human figure— tall and clearly more of a man than a boy.

'Whiz!' 'Whiz!'

The two wooden arrows, each wrapped in a faint layer of Busoshoku Haki (Armament Haki), shot straight toward Liam's left shoulder and right chest.

Hancock cried out, "Watch out!"

But Liam didn't dodge, nor did he even look at the arrows— both infused with Busoshoku Haki (Armament Haki), capable of injuring elementalized bodies.

'Whoosh, Whoosh…'

Two empty spaces spun open on Liam's left shoulder and right chest, with smoke swirling around the edges, as the arrows passed cleanly through the gaps, flying off into the distance.

What?!

The two Kuja Pirate warriors, holding their snake bows, looked on in astonishment.

Not just them—all the women in the arena were stunned. How could this be?

Those were arrows from Kuja Pirate warriors! They clearly hit the man, so why did he seem completely unaffected?

Did they not cause any harm at all? Are all men such monsters?!

In front of the high platform, Suzuran's pupils contracted as she murmured, "It's a Logia Devil Fruit! I remember now; the newspaper article mentioned that this Chopper Giorno… stole the Gasu Gasu no Mi (Gas Gas Fruit) from a scientist named something like 'Kai'! So, it was true?! But how is this possible?! He can actually steal someone else's Devil Fruit!"

Moreover, if his Devil Fruit is the Gasu Gasu no Mi (Gas Gas Fruit), then from what we overheard, Hancock clearly went to a space likely created by another special Devil Fruit… So, the girl captain named Jolyne— does she have 'that' Devil Fruit?

Suzuran said, "Snake Princess Sama, it's very likely that the other one, Jolyne, is hiding in a special space created by her Devil Fruit! She could be somewhere in the arena!"

"…" Snake Princess was silent, her gaze locked onto the developments on the platform, her brow slightly furrowed.

How could this be? A third one…

Meanwhile, on the platform, Liam— who had used Kenbunshoku Haki (Observation Haki) to predict the arrow's trajectory and preemptively created holes in his gas-like body to avoid them—landed on his feet in front of Hancock, reverting from his misty elemental form.

The girl, tied in a spread-eagle position on the cross, was finally at eye level with him.

Liam looked directly at her and, with a bit of annoyance, poked her right on her collarbone, reprimanding her: "Don't go sacrificing yourself for others like that! Did you even consider how the person you saved would feel about it?"

"Who said I was saving you!"

Even though she was bound and looked rather disheveled, Hancock glared at him, her pride intact, filled with fury.

"Who's sacrificing for you guys!"

She, Boa Hancock, though willful, reckless, skipping class, getting into fights, looking down on everyone, being an inconsiderate older sister, not giving friendly neighbors the time of day, showing no respect for royalty, beating up many people on her first voyage— some of whom were likely still in the hospital, unable to stand…

Even so, or perhaps precisely because she was so proudly born, she would never stoop to betraying someone!

She simply didn't want to despise herself. How did that end up being self-sacrifice to save those two?

Hancock wanted so badly to lift her leg and give this guy in front of her two ruthless kicks. Stop twisting things around!

Unfortunately, with her limbs bound in iron chains, she struggled with a loud clanking sound but was unable to move an inch.

"Watch out!" She suddenly cried.

Behind Liam, two Kuja Pirate warriors had already launched their attack, one swinging a punch toward the back of his head, and the other aiming a sweeping kick at his waist.

Liam reached out and grabbed the chains binding Hancock's hands and feet.

At the back of his head, a dark face mask appeared with narrow eyes that emitted a faint white glow. B.I.B.'s upper body emerged from Liam's left shoulder, and its lower half appeared along the contour of Liam's right side.

One hand reached out with a 'smack', blocking the Busoshoku Haki (Armament Haki)-infused punch, while the other lifted a leg to block the incoming Busoshoku Haki (Armament Haki)-imbued sweeping kick with a 'bang'.

'Clank! Clank!'

At the same time, the chains dropped to the ground, and Liam lowered Hancock from the cross-like structure.

The audience in the arena, still reeling from the mysterious "monster" man's clash with the pirate warriors, collectively breathed a sigh of relief when they saw Hancock being rescued. Hancock was safe!

At least for now, she was out of danger…

"That man is…" muttered Sander Sonia, the second sister with long green hair, watching Liam on the platform.

"Big sister…" The orange-haired youngest sister, Marigold, couldn't hold back her tears.

"That shadow! I remember now!" Cosmos's eyes narrowed, recalling events from more than a year ago when a strange shadow had once infiltrated their Kuja City. She hadn't expected that it would be this man!

So, from that time, had Hancock been conspiring with him?

The pirate members, the kingdom's warriors, and others with some skill in Kenbunshoku Haki (Observation Haki) could vaguely see the black armor emerging behind Liam.

B.I.B., seemingly engulfed in flames, stepped out of Liam's body, covered in a layer of pitch-black Stand energy.

The two executioner warriors were both surprised and bewildered, unable to understand what strange and dangerous thing had just emerged from this man's body! Gritting their teeth, they glanced at each other and attacked once more.

B.I.B. swiftly dispersed into a black cloud, swirling behind the two women. From the cloud emerged two mechanical arms, marked with flame patterns, which each tapped the back of their necks.

"Aahhh…" The two female warriors shuddered, suddenly feeling their limbs go weak and powerless.

Without turning back, Liam simply said, "You can't beat me. Give up."

'Thud, thud.' The two warriors slowly knelt behind him.

"I've heard that women on the Amazon Lily Island are named after flowers? I wonder what the Empress's flower name is?" Liam, holding the slightly weakened girl in his arms, looked up toward the tall woman who ruled Kuja Island from afar.

Just over two months ago, the Snake Princess had returned with the Kuja Pirate crew, heavily pregnant. Now, with her figure restored, it was evident she had given birth at some point.

"…" The Snake Princess showed no expression, gazing down from her throne at the platform below.

Liam suddenly said, "Actually, Hancock could have used her Haoshoku Haki to knock them unconscious and stop the execution, right?"

He looked down at Hancock. "So why did you just look like you were obediently awaiting your fate? That's not like you!"

Could it be, like Ace, she'd forgotten she had Haoshoku Haki? But Ace's younger brother, Luffy, had Haoshoku Haki and could unleash it in critical moments to spare someone… But he and Robin didn't have Haoshoku!

If his Rankyaku slash had been even half a second later, Hancock's beautiful head would've been rolling on the ground!

Gripping Liam's sleeve, Hancock finally looked up after a long silence, her gaze turning to the Snake Princess on the high platform. Her eyes reddened as she shouted, "If you want to kill me, then go ahead and do it!"
