Chapter 3.2
“Oh…! W-wait! Let’s go together! I’m going to eat, too…”
She pulled a pack of ramen and some wooden chopsticks out of her eco bag as she spoke. Despite looking like someone who’d live off carrots and apples, she eats ramen, too, huh?
But that’s not the point!
“No, thanks. I’d rather eat alone.”
“Huh…? Why…?”
Why? Seriously? Does she really not know?
‘There’s no way I can say that out loud!’
When you want to distance yourself from someone, it’s usually best to provide a valid reason. But if I told her I was uncomfortable because I saw her masturbating, and she accused me of sexual harassment instead, what then? I’m not a minor anymore! I wouldn’t even be protected by the law!!
While I was busy agonizing over how to respond, Choi Uma blinked her wide, round eyes a few times before breaking into a giggle.
“Oh…! If it’s because of what happened in the classroom… don’t worry! I don’t mind! That kind of thing is common for rabbit beastmen!”
I’m the one who minds, dammit!
“Oh, hey! The elevator’s here!”
With that, she dashed into the elevator and waved me in, cheerfully calling, “Aren’t you coming, Ji-hyuk?”
This girl… her shamelessness knows no bounds.
Apparently, you need this level of audacity to do something like that in a classroom.
I’ll remember this useless revelation well.
I managed to part ways with Choi Uma after grabbing hot water for my ramen at the student lounge. The atmosphere wasn’t exactly one that encouraged lingering anyway.
Somehow, she had already become friendly with the beastmen occupying the lounge. Whether they were lizard beastmen or triceratops beastmen, I couldn’t tell, but they greeted her like old friends.
“Uma, are you getting along with that human guy?”
“Ah. Uh, my name is Ji-hyuk… Joo Ji-hyuk.”
“Joo Ji-hyuk?”
“How can someone’s name be Joo Ji-hyuk?!”
“Kelkelkel!”
“Guys, s-stop it!”
“His name is Joo Ji!”
‘Are we in elementary school or what?’
Getting teased for my name wasn’t new. I’d already been through this countless times in middle and high school, so it didn’t faze me at all.
Back in my room, I finished every last drop of the ramen broth. I lay on my bed, intending to digest before cleaning up, when suddenly—knock, knock, knock—someone tapped on the door.
‘Ugh, I don’t feel like dealing with this.’
Too full and lazy to get up, I ignored it. But this time, a voice accompanied the knocking. It was Choi Uma.
“Uh… J-Ji-hyuk… are you mad?”
Out of nowhere? Oh, she must’ve thought I was upset because I came upstairs alone. But why was she panicking? It wasn’t even her teasing me. She could be brazen about that kind of stuff but seemed oddly timid in other situations.
…That aside.
“Ji-hyuk, are you maaad?”
“…”
“J-Ji-hyuk…”
“…”
“Jiii-hyuuuuk.”
“Ugh, fine.”
Her pitiful voice kept triggering flashbacks to the classroom incident. The more I listened, the stranger my body felt. Control yourself, Junior!
“I’m not mad, so please just go!”
“Oh… okay. I-I’m sorry…”
“I said I’m not mad!!”
“Okay… sorry…”
Her teary apology was followed by silence. Now it felt like I’d hurt her feelings.
Was she really a rabbit beastman? She seemed more like a fox beastman to me!
Annoyed and… uncomfortably stiff, I realized the dorm’s lack of privacy wasn’t helping. The balconies on each floor were connected, and with no curtains on the windows, even trying to “take care” of things felt risky. If a bird beastman flew by and saw, I’d never live it down.
‘Guess there’s only one solution.’
I pictured Na Min-seo’s punchable face, and just like that, Junior calmed down.
The method worked like a charm! My problem was gone in no time.
And just then—
KakaoTalk!
A message from Na Min-seo.
[Na Min-seo: Hey hey heyyy]
[Me: What’s up?]
[Na Min-seo: Wanna hang out this weekend? My treat, lol.]
This guy, always freeloading, offering to pay? Suspicious.
[Na Min-seo: I’ve been such a social butterfly, I want to hear your loser life stories, lol.]
This punk…
Rabbit beastmen experience heat cycles regularly, ranging from once a month to as often as once a week. Additionally, they have breeding seasons, typically in spring and fall, during which they’re almost perpetually in heat.
So, here in early spring, Choi Uma was stuck in heat until summer.
“Hah… hah…”
The sound of water flowed as a naked Choi Uma crouched under the stream of a hot shower.
Her small, clean hand grasped one of her breasts, fingers pinching a pink nipple, while her other hand slid down to her plump mound.
“Ah…!”
Her fingers parted her folds, shyly brushing against her clitoris. The clit, a body part existing purely for pleasure, sent shivers through her as she rolled it under her touch, all while recalling the classroom incident.
The setting alone had been scandalous, but it was the fact that she was seated next to a man—Joo Ji-hyuk, of all people—that had made it worse. She’d tried to keep herself composed, but in the end, her hips moved on their own, and she had even climaxed.
At the time, Joo Ji-hyuk had looked at her with absolute disgust.
“Ahk!”
Her hips jerked involuntarily.
Trying to calm herself, Choi Uma ran her fingers over her slick entrance. She couldn’t tell if the slipperiness was from her arousal or the shower water—probably a mix of both.
“Mm…”
She brought her fingers to her lips, licking them absentmindedly. Her drooping rabbit ears and round tail twitched as hot water dripped down her body.
Rabbit beastmen were infamous for their frequent heat cycles, often drawing unwanted attention from those with less control over their urges.
When she’d shown that side of herself to Joo Ji-hyuk in the classroom, she’d assumed he’d become like all the others, another person unable to resist his baser instincts. But instead, he had looked at her with pure contempt.
“Joo Ji-hyuk… Ji-hyuk…”
It was to be expected, of course. She’d done something outrageous in a shared classroom—how could anyone see her in a positive light after that? But in all her life, she’d never encountered someone who reacted the way Joo Ji-hyuk did.
No one had ever regarded her with disdain. Most people approached her with ulterior motives, hoping to take advantage of her during her vulnerable moments. But Joo Ji-hyuk was different—he actively avoided her.
For the first time in her life, someone had seen her as more than a sexual object. And for that reason, Choi Uma thought Joo Ji-hyuk was a good person.
