Chapter 98: Chapter 88 Creating, Trying, and CENSORED
Dante froze for a second, with an expression of surprise and amusement. To be honest, he didn't expect this kind of question. His mind was ready for something more supernatural, like the day of one's birth, his favorite color, or some strange magical object.
Dante turned his gaze towards the sky, watching the stars reflecting in his eyes. Both personalities within him began to ponder, with their thoughts merging and aligning. After a few moments, they reached a consensus. "I prefer to bite off more than I can chew rather than have nothing to bite at all! I'm that kind of person. So when I think about what I'd like to be complimented on..."
"Then..."
He paused, then continued with a slight, thoughtful smile. "If it comes from a friend, I'm fine with anything. But if I had to choose a specific theme, it would be about my strange way of being." Her serious demeanor softened into a cheerful grin, "What about you?"
Elizabeth's tone softened, as her eyes reflected on the flickering campfire. "Quite easy for me! That I am a good leader. I don't want to fail those who believe in me. They've decided to put their hopes onto me, so the least I can do is meet some of their expectations."
Elizabeth turned her head to the nearest person, which was Daniel, who responded with, "About me being smart, or at least not dumb."
Thalassa's response came next, delivered in her distinctly robotic tone, "Before being integrated into this machine... the nuns often referred to me as "pretty", and I found it pleasurable. This is also the primary reason I have included a remarkably feminine and light color palette into my design... in other words, I like being complimented about my appearance."
James, using his overly remarked elegant etiquette, chimed in jokingly, "Quite obvious now that I think about it!"
Su Yuan was the last to answer. She pondered deeply, her antennae twitching thoughtfully, but couldn't find a specific answer. Finally, she said, "Eh... my looks?"
The new group continued chatting, asking each other questions, and having some fun. Elizabeth's group proved to be more interesting than they initially thought. Her friends were a pair of twins with striking blue hair, called Madison and Morgana. The younger brother, Morgana, wielded a sniper rifle and claimed his favorite compliment was, "About me not missing any target." His older sister, Madison, carried a giant shield and looked like a SWAT juggernaut. She proudly stated, "That I look cool and how great I am at protecting everyone else."
The group kept talking to each other, with Dante and Elizabeth taking the lead. Eventually, the initial awkwardness melted away into a slight sense of companionship. Even if Elizabeth and her friends were just a thing of this event that they would eventually forget, they proved to be more interesting than they had initially thought.
After watching Madison for a bit Su Yuan decided to ask her a question. Su Yuan's personality was fairly similar to Dante's, so she easily connected with the strangers. Eagerly, she approached Madison, "Hey, can we see what you look like behind that giant armor?"
With a proud glint in her eyes, Madison calmly retorted, "Sure, why not?" She began to unfasten the heavy armor, revealing a remarkably muscular frame that spoke of untold hours devoted to training and honing. Each time a piece was taken out and dropped on the ground, it made a heavy slamming sound across the forest.
Her younger brother just nonchalantly rolled his eyes at this, as if he had been expecting this reaction from her part.

Elizabeth reached for a handkerchief, cleaning her mouth before saying, "Well, those were some really delicious red cupcakes that had strangely shaped organs as add-ons... but now that we recovered, we are gonna search for our other teammates. Aside from emergency objects, we don't have an instant 'find my teammate object.'"
They packed up their things and left the camp, beginning their search for Elizabeth's friends. The forest around them slowly disappeared, shifting into giant shadows and imposing green mountains. Dante moved with fluid grace, leaving Elizabeth's team behind and struggling to keep up with his effortless pace. He had to painfully wait until everyone caught up to him. Seeing this scene reminded him of the subtle advantages of being an aspect, which were becoming more apparent.
As they made their way through the unexplored plains, a group of threatening figures looked upon them from far away, but again, the potential cons outweighed the pros if they tried to attack them.
Dante just had to display some threatening aura, and they would decide, "Nope!"
Well...
all of them except for a random guy.
Dante sighed and said in the most annoying child-like voice, "Oopsie Woopsie! It seems like we made a fucky wucky! A wittle boingo with your body, and now your heart is in your stomach, and everything inside you is now inverted! We advise you to go back and see if getting at least 10 km away from us fixes the problem!"
Daniel and Thalassa, ignoring the stranger who attacked them, exchanged concerned and confused glances. In unison, they asked, "Wait... won't that explode him leaving him in a coma for inverting the blood flow?"
Daniel and Thalassa, ignoring the stranger who attacked them, exchanged concerned and confused glances. In unison, they asked, "Wait... won't that explode him, leaving him in a coma for inverting the blood flow?"
Dante turned to them, eyes wide open and a finger raised in exaggerated thought, "We... can't do things that we don't know, and... WE don't think it's quite a great idea actually doing that. And WHY would you want to do that?"
Daniel replied with his usual disinterested tone, "I mean, a long time ago, I was bored and did an entire essay to myself about what would happen if the composition of a natural satellite changed to cheese... but I couldn't know if it would have worked unless I actually turned a natural satellite into cheese."
Thalassa seemed to be thinking hard and bluntly stated in a joyful voice that didn't sound robotic, "For the funny?" Immediately, everyone except Dante turned their heads toward Thalassa's comment.
After she saw their reaction, the robot quickly apologized, "Sorry... I was testing a new prototype. Being near Dante's outlandish personality for a day has roused my desire to bring my actual emotions back and not these manufactured ones."
Mmh? What was Dante thinking so hard that he ignored Thalassa?
'This is kind of boring...' Seeing that this was already in the bag no matter what, Dante continued testing the limit of his silliness and how much it could tear reality apart. Right now, he was trying to make things explode with his mind by trying many different commands because he didn't have many things to do.
Dante looked at a yellow flower on the ground and placed two of his fingers on his head. "Blows you with mind!" The ground exploded out of nowhere, and Dante took mental notes about this small interaction.
Through trial and error, he discovered that he couldn't simply just make everything out of rubber or explode it because he wanted to. There had to be an action linked to it, like bouncing on it or saying it out loud. But still, the limits of his ability were unknown as he bypassed those rules under REALLY specific scenarios.
Right now, he was working on a totally new project, essentially things that couldn't be described or comprehended. The first thing created in this new category was blessed with the name of (CENSORED).
It's literally a (CENSORED) texture that covers something.
Dante assembled a sword with (CENSORED) and gave it to Elizabeth. The sword proved to be slightly better than her actual sword. When she realized this fact, her face turned like that of a sad puppy. "My sword... was really costly... and it got beaten by a..." Elizabeth eyed the (CENSORED) with a mix of awe and perplexity. "Whatever this thing can be."
He asked everyone how it felt, and they answered were
Elizabeth: "This might sound weird... but like a dick... I-Is it normal that it feels like that...?"
Thalassa: "It's texture has similar qualities to PAX-1028A-9033Z... It's a toxic material"
Daniel: "P00TIS-WAW, a material used for certain weapons that are forbidden."
Madison and Morgana had the same response, "It feels exactly like the weapons our mother didn't want us to use."
Dante was going to ask everyone to taste their new (CENSORED) weapons, but after hearing their responses, he decided that perhaps it wasn't the greatest idea.
Elizabeth, glancing nervously at her system, asked Dante, who was still trying 'stuff', "If you can teleport anywhere, why haven't you teleported us to the rest of the party? You did it earlier when we needed a place without many players."
Dante easily responded, "We need to look at the person at least once... We don't know what we are teleporting to, but we could probably teleport everywhere until we found them-" His eyes suddenly dilated, and every piece of his body got ready for combat. This prompted him to stop, ready to burst into speed and teleport everyone to a safe place.
Normally, when an enemy got in their way, a few funny words from Dante would resolve the situation. But now, every cell in his body screamed danger. His eyes frantically darted everywhere, scanning for any unusual threat. His hearing amplified, searching for any kind of unnatural sound. His nose tried to sense any type of artificial material in the area, and his skin prickled, being now hypersensitive to even the smallest vibration.

What seemed like an eternity passed, and only then did Dante comprehend that barely a second had gone by.
But even if nothing happened, he teleported to the sky, then turned sharply to the left where more mountains loomed, to the right where trees whispered with their leaves, and even below, after teleporting there and seeing how his senses didn't catch anything his body was still ready to fight seriously.
For a fleeting moment, Dante was targeted by something...
But as the realization of the event sank in, he discovered a thing within the bizarre sense of unease that gnawed within. It didn't feel like someone; but rather a
'something'
He couldn't describe the sensations he felt, and how his body reacted but from what his comprehension understood, a certain chain of events with whatever he was doing might led to a dangerous road, that could possibly end his life.
