Isn’t the wannabe Villain too cute?

"So what's the plan from now on, Captain?"

As Austin returned to the group while holding his sister's hand fondly, Luna asked in a mild tone. She couldn't help but feel a little bitter after she saw how close these two are and also how protectively Austin was holding Saya's hand.

Even though she was the one who encouraged Saya to go after Austin, Luna wasn't actually entirely ready for this change. Thanks to the fact that Austin was a little dense when it came to matters like this, it was providing Luna with the time she required to adapt.

"After some rest, we will be moving further down. Since the curse of mana has been lifted, it would be easier to venture."

Luna expected such an answer from him. Earlier Austin told her when they were in the dome, that the floor boss was aware of Austin's Villain System.

It goes without saying that Austin must be impatient and anxious to know more about his system's origin and things that may be about his rebirth.

Luna undoubtedly was going to support him from hereon but for some reason, something was weighing down her heart. Like they might come to know something not-so-pleasant.

'Ah, I have to collect myself… '

Shaking her head, Luna threw her useless thoughts as she turned toward Austin. Whatever happens, she wasn't going to leave his side.

"We are also ready to go."

It was Kyouki who declared for him and his partner's stead as he stood while supporting Cordelia. The latter mentioned was slightly pale-faced due to being constantly influenced by the Wizard but other than that she seemed fine.

However, before Austin could have nodded and proceed with his further plan, Luna interjected.

"Your lovers might die at the rate they have been crying since forever."

Kyouki perked his ears as his lashes blinked in perplexion upon hearing Luna's remark which undoubtedly was targeted at Sicily and Lilia.

"What happened to them?"

It has been only a week since they dived into the dungeon so Kyouki didn't find any reason for them to get worried so soon.

However, the hero and everyone present inside got startled upon hearing Luna's following reality check.

"Well, of course not seeing their loved one for a month would make them worried. And they are aware of me entering this place so…"

Luna trailed off her words since she knew Kyouki had understood the essence of the matter.

The reason Luna dived into the labyrinth must be because of some unforeseen circumstance. And having no way to check on Kyouki's condition would undoubtedly make them uneasy.

"Yeah, you should go back Hero."

Kyouki turned toward his team captain with a bitter expression since he was utterly conflicted about what he should be doing now.

It didn't take time for Austin to know what the hero was thinking as he sighed and approached the raven-haired youth.

"Listen, your job is finished. You assisted me enough until now. Even with the wizard, I primarily thought of using you as the final strike but well…"

Kyouki was a little taken aback since Austin rarely talked in such a manner with him before. Soon his expression loosened up since what Austin said made the hero slightly less guilty for being just a dead weight.

With a contended look Kyouki nodded along with his words.

"Okay, I will return now. And you too, don't go rampaging like a maniac again."

Austin narrowed his eyes and smacked the hero in the torso.

"Buah!"

"That maniac saved your ass, hero. Now get going."

Cordelia rubbed Kyouki's back in concern as the latter held his stomach in mild pain because of the punch. But amidst pain Kyouki had a snicker plastered on his face as he saw Austin retreating back to Luna's side.

Luna was surprised to see that Kyouki and Austin have grown closer than before and the attitude of the hero toward Austin has also shifted a lot.

"I-I will be leaving with Kyo-chan as well."

"Hmm, alright."

Cordelia bowed after some time before she went to Kyouki's side and enveloped both of them in her shadow.

Kyouki gave a last glance at the blond youth with a nod as the darkness covered them before their presence vanished all in an instant.

Left were the three still on the fifth floor. Saya's condition was better than before. Luna was beautiful and smiling as ever. And Austin himself after Luna's care felt a lot better.

Austin was about to use his skill to penetrate through the floor and continue his venture along with the two beauties when a familiar yet unpleasant voice reached up to them.

[Where do you think you guys are going?]
