Way to the Core~End!
The battle has concluded.
The previously wagging body of the Abyssal Wizard was now hopelessly lying on the cold ground as Austin stared at the man's pale white face, devoid of any emotions.
Austin slew the Wizard without utilizing any mana or artifact and not even weapons. He just tore the floor master's limb one after another mercilessly with bite strength as the Wizard cried in agony all along.
Stomping his knee, ankle, toes, elbow, testicles… Autin made sure to crack every single breakable thing before he bisected the Wizard while enjoying his screams
In the process, the robe which was previously entrapping Saya flew toward Austin to save its master but failed.
Even though Saya was set free and the mana-restricting curse was broken, Austin didn't stop in his torture. He was no longer fighting to save his sister. He just wanted to hear the Wizard's screams of misery and end his life in the cruelest way possible.
Since the curse was ripped off, seemingly because of the Wizard's near-death condition, both Cordelia and Kyouki were unrestrained.
The first thing they did was to check on Saya since presently, they can only rely on her to stop Austin from his frenzy. Austin currently looked nothing but horrifying.
"Lia… the pill. It will work now."
The pill that Kyouki hurriedly asked for was a mana-stimulating pill, which triggers a person's dormant magical energy.
Since there was no backlash they could feel while channelizing their mana, that pill would help Saya's natural essence to heal her.
Cordelia nodded, and after parting Saya's lips, she dropped the pill inside her mouth before Kyouki passed some water for Cordelia to pour down Saya's throat.
On the other side, Austin was done with his ordeal as he shredded the robe in bits and threw it away. The Wizard was only left with his armless upper body with his heart slowly numbing passing each second.
Even so, his eyes were parted as the Wizard witnessed the cruelty that the blondie carried. The old man was just shocked would be an understatement. He was beyond petrified to meet such a being after a long time.
But even in face of death, the Abyssal Wizard had a smile plastered across his lips as he muttered his last of the words before Austin stomped his life away.
[If… it's…you… I think*hah*...you might…defeat-]
**CRACK**
And with that, the end of the fifth stage master came to an end as Austin stepped on the man's heart and without hesitation crushed it.
There was still a smirk on the man's face as he felt his century's worth of life fading in the face of a single brat. But that smirk signified that he regretted nothing.
Now there was someone who might…
"O-Onii-sama…."
**SNAP**
Hearing a familiar tone, Austin's gaze widened, and for the first time after a long while an expression of anxiety spread over his face.
Hurriedly he turned toward the source of the voice only to see the person for whom he started this massacre. The murderous daze took over his mind so profoundly that he forgot because of whom he ever fell into that state.
Regret, sorrow, elation, and many other emotions vividly grew thick on Austin's face as he stepped toward his sister.
"Saya I-khak!!"
"Onii-sama!!"
Saya limply got up with help of Cordelia as they followed Kyouki who reached for Austin first and helped the latter.
Austin had his mouth wide agape as he tried to catch his breath. His face grew pale and his vision darkened severely.
Kyouki in a panic, laid Austin to the ground with his head on Kyouki's thigh in order to not let Austin choke.
"Hey, hey! Calm down and breathe, okay? Just relax and breathe properly."
Kyouki rubbed Austin's chest as he spoke in a hurried tone while the other two knelt on either side of Austin.
None of them had any idea what was wrong with Austin. Since mana should've been working properly there doesn't seem any reason for his sudden fall.
Saya was crying non-stop while holding her brother's cold hand as she condemned herself for his condition. The chain of events has made her mind blank to even think properly at the moment.
Cordelia was checking his pulse and rubbed his palms to calm his nerves but to no avail. His life was evidently leaving his shell as the remnants of his mana depleted dangerously.
Kyouki was the only one yelling at Austin to calm down with tears also moistening his eyes. He just doesn't know what he should do and only could blame his incapability that Austin had to force himself to this extent.
Even though the threat of the Wizard had subdued, the group was in deep desperation. If not, greater degree than before.
The person who fought for them. The person who saved their worthless life was now falling into a slumber that seemed no way of returning yet they could only watch him die while crying like a loser!
At times every hope seemed to diminish, a familiar voice resonated heavily on the labyrinth floor, making the three flinch in expectation and slight horror as well.
"I left my husband to you guys just for a few hours and this is how you have taken care of him?!"
