Chapter 363: Clone of TOAA

"It can be understood as the 'God' of the entire Omniverse, but on a level far beyond the 'God' you know on Earth. It can't simply be equated to a Creator either."

"The Celestials once had an OAA (One Above All), who was the predecessor of Arishem, the current leader of the Celestials."

"It is said that this OAA was an incarnation of TOAA (The One Above All). After leading the Fourth Division of the Celestials to Earth once, this being disappeared."

"Immediately afterward, the slumbering Celestial was punished and sealed near Earth."

"This marked the first organized descent of the Celestials onto Earth."

"Later, another group of Celestials, known as 'Fate,' descended to Earth to spread the genetic seeds they had developed.

Subsequently, another batch of Celestials came to evaluate the results."

"The most recent event occurred around March 2000 on Earth. Arisgem led the Searcher Eson and the Destruction Celestial on a mission."

"According to our information, Arishem initially planned to destroy Earth during that mission. This aligns with the Destruction's nature, as they symbolize the destruction of planetary civilizations. As for why the Searcher was involved, we have no idea."

"But for some reason, the destruction was never carried out.

As a result, Earth has become the only planet among those monitored and experimented upon by the Celestials to remain unjudged and deemed acceptable."

"TOAA is the embodiment of all logic and illogic, a being beyond imagination or comprehension. However, I have observed what seemed to be manifestations of TOAA on Earth several times. On those occasions, it appeared as an old man, seemingly fascinated by Earth."

"Legend has it that each reset of the Omniverse begins under the influence of TOAA's will, aimed at correcting the errors that existed in the universe at the time."

"Then, the previous five Arbiter-Primes were all imprisoned in the lowest level of the 'Cosmic Prison,' known as the 'Void Realm.'"

"The Void Realm is the destination for all things nonexistent within the Omniverse. Things that once existed but were annihilated, or those that never existed at all, are gathered there."

"This realm also birthed 'Oblivion,' one of the five primordial gods of the universe, a manifestation of all things nonexistent."

"As I previously mentioned to you, Mr. Zane, I was once a Watcher assigned to monitor Earth. On one occasion, however, I encountered an invasion by an extra-dimensional species. Unable to stand by, I joined forces with Earth's deities to repel the invaders and successfully restore the damaged Earth."

"Because of this, I have a relatively deep understanding of Earth. Additionally, for certain reasons, the entire Watcher race pays particular attention to Earth across all universes."

"It's not just us—it's the same with the Celestials. Earth seems to be the core of the entire Omniverse."

"I believe, Mr. Zane, you now understand that our Omniverse is derived from and encompasses the Prime Universe 616."

"The source of all universes is the Prime Universe 616, and the source of 616 is the chaotic spacetime before the singularity, which we call the 'Cosmic Egg.'"

"The Cosmic Egg gave birth to the Prime Universe. The World Tree then grew from the Prime Universe, and every second, the Prime Universe generates countless parallel universes of potential realities.

The World Tree sprouted innumerable 'seed core' universes, or dimensional universes.

Later, when the World Tree withered, the Living Tribunal created the MK Crystal from the core of the first planet in the Omniverse. This crystal replaced the World Tree's position and function."

"To date, this epoch of the Omniverse has lasted roughly 1 billion years. Time itself did not exist before that, so there's no way to speculate about earlier periods.

We only know that during that time, the five primordial gods of the Omniverse came into being.

The Devourer of Worlds (Galactus) is the oldest of the five, believed to be the sole survivor of the previous universe.

Next is Eternity, the embodiment of cosmic time, who shaped the current Omniverse.

Then there is Death and Infinity, followed by the youngest, Oblivion.

After this, various forms of energy emerged, planets formed, and the Celestials came into existence.

Another 100 million years passed, and then we Watchers came into being."

Zane didn't interrupt and continued listening as Uatu went on:

"After nearly another billion years, intelligent life began to appear in large numbers across the universe, gradually evolving into civilizations.

Then, about 500 million years later, we Watchers developed the ability to traverse the entire Omniverse, including parallel universes.

Over time, disagreements arose between us and the Celestial regarding the governance of the universe, and these conflicts escalated.

Around 200 million years ago, this led to an all-out war.

First, battles erupted across various universes, lasting nearly a billion years. Finally, both sides agreed to settle the conflict with a decisive battle in the Prime Universe 618."

"During the battle, the usually uninvolved Living Tribunal intervened. Teaming up with others, it captured our then-leader, Fulcrum, and imprisoned him in the Void Realm.

Simultaneously, several of the Celestial's top warriors were sealed away or exiled. Among them was Tiamut, the leader of the Fourth Division and their strongest warrior at the time.

At its peak, the Celestials had over 100,000 members, but after the war, only about 100 remained in the Prime Universe. Of those, only 30 or so are still active today, while the rest moved to other dimensional universes.

We Watchers believed that humanity's affairs should be managed by humans themselves, whereas the Celestials believed that all races in the universe should obey their authority.

After the war, we withdrew into Lord Merlin's Domain of Watchers and ceased interfering with the progress of life in the universe.

Meanwhile, the Celestials began rigorously monitoring every new species, eradicating those they deemed unworthy. We Watchers, however, confined ourselves to merely observing and recording, so future generations could understand."

Uatu finished his account in one breath, then fixed his gaze on Zane. He knew the latter was bound to have many questions.

At last, Zane heard the key term he had been waiting for: Fulcrum. He immediately asked, "Your leader back then was Fulcrum?"

"Yes," Uatu replied. "Before we sought refuge under Lord Merlin, our entire Watcher race served the old leader, Fulcrum."

Uatu took a deep breath, falling into recollection:

"At that time, our old leader's influence spanned nearly the entire Omniverse.

Not only did we Watchers serve him, but so did the most populous beings in the universe—the Cosmic Swarm. Even some members of the Celestials joined him.

Because of this, the then-leader of the Celestials, OAA (One Above All), declared war on our leader.

In the final battle, OAA faced our old leader in single combat, but the sudden intervention of the Living Tribunal left Fulcrum overwhelmed and captured.

Not long after the war ended, the Celestial's OAA also vanished.

It was around that time that the Living Tribunal took full control of the Celestials and appointed Arishem as their new leader and judge."

"Your old leader was that powerful? He could fight OAA without falling behind?" Zane asked, clearly astonished.

"Our old leader once said that the Celestial's OAA was not the TOAA (The One Above All) of the Omniverse but was likely a fragment of him. Even so, his strength far surpassed Arishem, the current leader of the Celestial Host.

As for Fulcrum's power, the closest comparison would be the Beyonder, who later emerged from the Beyonder Race."
