Marvel: I Can Summon

Chapter 10: Chapter 10: Business with S.H.E.L.D

In S.H.I.E.L.D, each agent is generally equipped with a positioning monitoring device when performing field missions. It is not only for monitoring the task process but also for accurate positioning and rescue when the agent is in distress.

After hanging up the phone with Phil Coulson, Nick Fury immediately called up the positioning monitoring device on Phil Coulson's body. Although he didn't see it with his own eyes, Nick Fury had a general understanding of the mission process.

Two pieces of information caught his attention the most: First, the target had a supernatural ability. Black Widow, the only super agent under his command, had no chance to resist and was subdued by the target.

Second, the target knew S.H.I.E.L.D very well.

As S.H.I.E.L.D's number one strategist, Nick Fury never let himself take risks lightly. But after much deliberation, he decided to meet Kyle anyway.

Not just because Phil Coulson and Black Widow are his right-hand people, but because Kyle's knowledge of S.H.I.E.L.D unsettled him.

...

"Phil Coulson, how is the treatment for S.H.I.E.L.D. Level 8 agents?"

"It's not very good. The treatment is similar to your FBI's D2 agents, and there are basically no benefits. The leave application I submitted two months ago has not been approved yet."

"I'm only Level 7, wouldn't it be more pitiful?" This is Natasha Romanoff.

"You are so miserable, you might consider coming to work for the FBI. The New York bureau welcomes you, starting with D2-level treatment, and guarantees enough vacation to make you want to vomit."

"Oh, that is indeed worth considering."

This is the conversation Nick Fury heard when he arrived, and his face instantly turned dark.

"Phil Coulson, didn't you say you were captured? Still in the mood to chat?!" Nick Fury's deep voice came from behind Phil Coulson.

Phil Coulson was startled when he heard this voice.

"Director..."

Phil Coulson really wanted to slap himself. How could he tell the truth? Now, don't think about taking a vacation for half a year...

Nick Fury's one-eyed stare fixed on Kyle as he said:

"You want to negotiate with me?"

"Definitely, two of your top agents have been captured by me. Aren't you going to redeem them?" Kyle said as if it were only natural.

"Name your terms." Nick Fury said directly.

"The director of the FBI's New York bureau," Kyle said.

Although the position of the FBI is completely meaningless to the current Kyle, he just couldn't stand seeing Davis, the deadweight, dangling in front of his eyes every day as his immediate boss.

"Okay, but I have a question I need you to answer," Nick Fury said.

"What is the question?"

"How do you know so much about S.H.I.E.L.D? Who told you?" Nick Fury asked, staring at Kyle.

"This should be two questions, but it's one answer, so I'll tell you."

With the index finger and middle finger of his right hand, Kyle pointed to his eyes and said slowly, "These eyes can see the past, present, and future... Believe me, if I want, I can see all the secrets in this world."

Staring at Kyle's eyes, Nick Fury's gaze gradually became sharper.

"How can you prove it?"

Kyle smiled, looked at Nick Fury, and said, "Like... you have a pager to contact..."

"STOP!! Enough!!"

Nick Fury interrupted Kyle immediately, his face a little pale.

Captain Marvel gave him a Quantum pager to contact her before leaving Earth. After that, Captain Marvel left Earth, and he himself never told anyone about it, so there was absolutely no second person on Earth who knew.

And now, there should absolutely be no second person on this Earth who knows this secret, but Kyle mentioned it casually.

Phil Coulson and Natasha Romanoff on the side didn't know what was wrong with a pager, but they had never seen their chief look so pale before and immediately understood that this must be Nick Fury's big secret.

Looking at each other, they both decided to keep this matter to themselves.

Seeing Nick Fury falling silent, Kyle continued, "To be honest, although S.H.I.E.L.D. is committed to protecting the world and thinks it has made a lot of contributions, in my opinion, you are the most useless.

Asgard protects the earth from alien threats, Kamar-Taj defends against invasions from other dimensions... Only you, you're a sieve, worrying about other things every day."

"You subdued Natasha Romanoff with this kind of power?!" After a moment of silence, Nick Fury suddenly asked.

"No, another supernatural power," Kyle shrugged and said without hesitation. Most of the time, only by showing enough strength can you make others afraid and dare not attack you.

"What are Asgard and Kamar-Taj?" Nick Fury continued.

"You will know when you need to know. Sometimes knowing too much is not a good thing," Kyle continued to act mysterious to fool Nick Fury.

"What about Tony Stark? Do you know where he is?" Nick Fury asked.

"Definitely know," Kyle said.

"Tell me."

"Why?" Kyle raised his eyebrows, then looked at Nick Fury with a "you know you have to pay" look.

"What do you want?" Nick Fury asked quietly.

Hearing Nick Fury's question, Kyle was lost in thought.

Originally, he wasn't going to get involved in Tony Stark's affairs because only by going through his ordeal would Tony Stark, the playboy, transform into Iron Man.

Kyle didn't want to change that because, before crossing over, Iron Man was his favorite superhero, and if there is no Iron Man in this world, he doesn't know how big the butterfly effect will be.

But at this point in time...

Tony Stark has been missing for two months, and the Mark 1 is almost finished. Even if he doesn't participate, Tony Stark's escape is a matter of these few days.

At this moment, Nick Fury was coming to act as a swindler, how could Kyle be so kind to let him go.
