Marvel: I Can Summon

Chapter 11: Chapter 11: Tony is Worth.....

"Tesseract, the Infinite Formula, and the Super Soldier Serum," Kyle listed. "Just give me any one of them."

Kyle's calm demeanor only made Nick Fury's face grow darker with each name he mentioned.

The Tesseract was too important to discuss lightly. Not only did it contain boundless energy, but it was also crucial for developing energy weapons. Most importantly, it was the only one in the universe.

Even if Nick Fury had ten Tony Starks, he would still choose the Tesseract over them.

The Infinite Formula, though seemingly just a formula, held the secret to immortality. During World War II, Professor Berthold Sternberg perfected this formula, which allowed Nick Fury to live from that era to the present. This was a secret known only to himself.

Obviously, Tony Stark wasn't worth the Infinite Formula either.

The Super Soldier Serum was another invaluable asset. Developed by Dr. Abraham Erskine during World War II, it enhanced both physical and mental capabilities. Captain America was the best and only successful example. Although much of the original data was lost with Dr. Erskine's death, S.H.I.E.L.D. and many other organizations had managed to recreate it over the years. However, none could achieve the original serum's full effects.

"That's impossible! Tony Stark isn't worth that much," Nick Fury rejected without hesitation.

Kyle wasn't surprised. If Nick Fury had agreed, it would have been more suspicious.

"How about giving me two 084 items instead?" Kyle suggested next.

084 was S.H.I.E.L.D.'s code for objects of unknown origin, which could include anything from artifacts and energy sources to even people.

"Impossible," Nick Fury refused again.

"Fine, if you don't want to give them, let Tony Stark die," Kyle said, shamelessly.

Nick Fury fell silent, his one eye glaring at Kyle.

Feeling uncomfortable under Nick Fury's gaze, Kyle wondered if, this "Black Head", could actually be a gay, and shivered involuntarily.

"100 kilograms of Vibranium."

Kyle finally offered a challenging demand.

There was no way S.H.I.E.L.D. would part with such valuable material easily. But it was a negotiation, after all.

"Too much. S.H.I.E.L.D. doesn't have that much Vibranium," Nick Fury replied.

On the black market, Vibranium sold for $10,000 per gram, though it was priceless in reality. Whether it was $10,000 or $100,000 per gram, Vibranium would always sell out completely.

Kyle didn't know exactly how much Vibranium S.H.I.E.L.D. possessed, but he knew it wasn't much. Vibranium mainly came from Wakanda, which only sold small amounts when they needed dollars, otherwise keeping it tightly guarded.

"50 kilograms, not a gram less," Kyle said firmly, with a "no more negotiations" expression.

Nick Fury thought for a moment, then said, "30 kilograms."

Thirty kilograms was nearly half of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Vibranium stock. Although it hurt, Tony Stark was more important.

"Deal," Kyle agreed.

Kyle's decisiveness indicated he might have settled for less, causing Nick Fury some regret. But he hid it well and asked, "Where is Tony Stark?"

Nick Fury decided that once Tony Stark was rescued, he would ensure Kyle paid for any deception.

"I have no idea," Kyle said, shrugging.

He really didn't know exactly where Tony Stark was at that moment, deep in a cave in Afghanistan.

Seeing Nick Fury's glare, Kyle grinned sheepishly. He had always planned to trade Stark's whereabouts, but now, having completed the deal, he had nothing to offer, making Fury angry.

"Director Fury, calm down. I don't know Stark's exact location, but I guarantee I can help save him. How about that?" Kyle offered.

Hearing this, Nick Fury suppressed his anger and said coldly, "Then get ready to act."

"Right now, how about?" Kyle smiled and turned to Phil Coulson and Natasha Romanoff, who had been silent during the exchange.

"I remember leaving the door locked. Wanda and Pietro might think there's a thief if we don't get back soon."

Phil Coulson and Natasha Romanoff, though puzzled, replied:

"Got it."

"No problem."

"Then... bye." Kyle waved at the trio and vanished.

Nick Fury's eyes narrowed. He pressed a hidden earpiece and asked, "Has anyone exited the building?"

"No one has left," a female voice replied. After a pause, she continued, "Director, one thermal imaging signature is missing. Is there an issue?"

"No, lock down the area. Also, redirect three satellites to monitor all of Afghanistan," Nick Fury ordered after a moment of silence.

"Yes, Director."

Nick Fury had placed seven elite agents around the building, just in case he needed to rescue Phil Coulson and Natasha Romanoff or capture Kyle. But now...

Nick Fury stood quietly for a while, deep in thought.

Finally, he turned to Phil Coulson and Natasha Romanoff. "I want a detailed report from both of you on everything that happened here. Set this as a top-secret file, not to be mentioned or recorded in any form. Understood, Coulson?"

"Yes, Director," Phil Coulson responded.
