Chapter 8: Chapter 8
Clint Barton: "Are you from the Navy? Which one? And why are you talking about global dynamics involving the Revolutionary Army and pirates? That's from the last century!"
Usopp: "Hey! That's not right. Being a pirate is every man's dream! It's not just some old-fashioned thing!"
Nico Robin: "The Revolutionary Army is the world's top wanted criminal group, inciting revolutions everywhere. How could you not know?"
Jiraiya: "Hold on a second, who in their right mind would dream of being a pirate? And I've never heard of a Revolutionary Army."
Nick Fury: "We're not in feudal times anymore. Where would a Revolutionary Army come from?"
Sengoku: "Are you mocking me?"
Fury's face darkened at Sengoku's rude tone.
Which Navy officer dared to speak like that? Only someone from a country with a strong military presence could be this difficult!
Pirates he could understand, but what were Devil Fruits? Magic? And what was the Revolutionary Army? Nowadays, it would at most be a small nation's insurgent group.
As Fury pondered, his phone rang. It was Tony Stark.
"Hello, Stark. What's up?"
"I want to study that creature called SCP-173. Its incredible physical defense makes me curious about its material composition."
Fury was about to refuse, but then he thought about how Tony was a top-notch scientist and arms dealer. If he could help with the research, it might yield some results.
He agreed immediately.
DC World, Batman's Base
Bruce was organizing various pieces of information, including the recent conversation.
"SCP-173, Devil Fruits, magic, ninjutsu, Revolutionary Army—they don't know what the others are talking about..."
As the world's greatest detective, Bruce felt something wasn't right. He was deducing the situation, feeling like he was missing a crucial piece.
Then he remembered what the screen had mentioned at the beginning: different universes.
"Could it be? That statement was true!"
Bruce stared at the screen in shock. If this was true, everything made sense!
Kamar-Taj
The Ancient One sighed in relief as S.H.I.E.L.D. successfully contained SCP-173. If they couldn't handle it, she wouldn't have minded personally dealing with it, sending it to the Mirror Dimension or exiling it to another world.
"Ancient One, what do you think is happening? Is that statue-like thing a curse from a dark god?"
Mordo asked in confusion.
"I've scoured all the books and found nothing about SCP-173 or similar abilities."
Wong added.
"The multiverse is vast and our knowledge is but a drop in the ocean. It's normal to encounter unknowns. I think I understand what this screen is about."
The Ancient One confidently answered, a look of sorrow in her eyes.
At that moment, a particularly aggressive message appeared on the screen.
Vegeta: "Is this the best weapon you Earthlings have? Ridiculous. This won't scare us Saiyans. I could destroy it with one finger. Earthlings, continue your futile struggle. This is your last dance before extinction."
Vegeta's words left everyone baffled.
Then Piccolo sent a message.
Piccolo: "Saiyan, come on. I'll defeat you!"
Dragon Ball World
In a wasteland, Piccolo watched the screen seriously, almost forgetting about the impending Saiyan invasion while observing SCP-173.
Goku: "That's right! I won't let you invade Earth!"
Vegeta: "Haha! Interesting. Let's see what you can do. Don't disappoint me."
This conversation left everyone shocked. An alien invasion was happening!
S.H.I.E.L.D.
"Saiyans? Could they be something like the Kree? Contact the space station immediately and check the situation beyond Earth!"
Fury ordered quickly. He had experience with Kree invasions and was cautious about alien threats.
Asgard
"Heimdall, are there any aliens approaching Earth?"
Odin asked urgently.
"No, my lord!"
Heimdall scanned the area around Earth and found nothing.
Doraemon World
"Doraemon, aliens are invading! What do we do?"
Nobita panicked, unsure of what to do.
"Calm down. Let me check. Huh, there's nothing there?"
Doraemon used advanced monitors to scan the universe but found nothing.
Was that person lying?
Ultraman Leo World
Dan immediately checked the radar but found no aliens approaching.
He remained cautious, as they might not have approached yet.
"All MAC team members return immediately. There's an alien invasion!"
To be safe, Dan called everyone back.
At that moment, the Ancient One spoke.
"Everyone, there's no need to worry. This Vegeta belongs to the Dragon Ball universe and has no relation to other universes."
Hearing the Ancient One, people felt even more puzzled instead of relieved.
"Look at the prefixes before your names. Do you see different words?"
Everyone checked and saw words like Marvel, DC, Naruto, One Piece, Doraemon, Ultraman, and Dragon Ball.
"Do you remember the screen mentioning different universes at the beginning? This means we are not from the same universe. These words are the names of different universes, and the names following them are people from those universes. Vegeta, with the Dragon Ball prefix, means he's from the Dragon Ball universe. To fight him, people with the Dragon Ball prefix, like Piccolo and Goku, will do it."
Some people understood after hearing the Ancient One's explanation, but many were still confused.
Marvel Universe
Tony was on a plane to S.H.I.E.L.D., watching the screen.
"The multiverse is real!"
Tony exclaimed excitedly, startling the flight attendant.
As an excellent scientist, Tony quickly accepted the concept without much doubt, instead feeling excited.
But he also felt puzzled.
Who was this Ancient One, who seemed so knowledgeable about the multiverse? Was she a top scholar he didn't know about?
S.H.I.E.L.D.
Nick Fury, having understood, looked troubled, his brain struggling to keep up.
Handling one universe was already difficult, and now there were multiple universes. This made things even more complicated.
Batman's Base
"So it's true!"
Bruce punched the air in excitement. His theory was confirmed by others.
He wondered who this Ancient One was.
But then Bruce calmed down and pondered. Who could create such a screen involving different universes? Could a human even do that?
Diana's Apartment
Diana watched the screen, understanding the Ancient One's explanation.
As a demigod, she knew about the multiverse, remembering a dark lord who had once invaded Earth in the distant past.
"So, what is the screen's purpose? What's it warning us about?"
Diana thought, recalling the screen's earlier message.
"Is it a warning?"
She soon realized what was going on, her expression growing serious.
