Marvel: I Started by Containing SCPs

Chapter 9: Chapter 9

Ultraman Leo World

Gen looked at Dan with confusion.

"Captain, do you think what this Ancient One said is true?"

Dan took a few steps, pondering before answering, "I've heard from the commander that there are indeed other universes beyond ours. If one can surpass the speed of cosmic expansion, they can leave this universe and enter another."

"What! Surpass the speed of cosmic expansion!"

Gen was shocked. How could that be possible? The speed of cosmic expansion is many times faster than light. Even Ultraman couldn't surpass it!

"If we could gather all the energy of the Land of Light, it might be possible."

Dan's words left Gen dumbfounded.

The energy of the Land of Light could pierce through the universe? What secrets did this place, the homeland of Ultraman, hold?

Dan ignored Gen and kept his eyes on the screen.

If this screen indeed invited people from different universes, then the entity behind it must be incredibly powerful. Perhaps only the legendary Ultraman King could deal with it.

Dan felt immense pressure, as if facing an unknown and terrifying opponent.

Doraemon World

"Doraemon, what do they mean?"

Nobita was confused. He wasn't the brightest, and hearing such technical explanations made his head spin.

"Nobita, remember our space adventures? There's more than one universe. There are many."

Doraemon tried to explain, but Nobita looked lost.

"It's like the If Phone Booth. If it can create parallel universes, many universes exist beyond those created by the If Phone Booth."

Doraemon simplified the explanation, and Nobita finally understood, leaving Doraemon unsure whether to laugh or cry.

However, some still didn't understand.

Luffy: "Universe? What's that?"

Tsunade: "I've never heard of such a thing either."

Vegeta: "Stop fooling around. How can there be many universes?"

The Ancient One sighed at seeing this. Some people, it seemed, didn't know or refused to believe in the concept of a universe.

She patiently explained.

"Everyone knows about stars and the sun, right? The vast space that contains stars, the sun, and our world is called the universe. And there isn't just one universe. There are many, each adjacent but inaccessible to each other."

Marine Headquarters

"Hey, can any of you understand this?"

Akainu asked irritably.

"Only Vegapunk might understand this. Get him here immediately!"

Sengoku couldn't grasp it either and decided to call Vegapunk.

"Is this like Sky Island? There are islands on top of islands, layering up to form an unseen world."

Kizaru analyzed seriously while sipping tea.

Sengoku looked out the window, contemplating Kizaru's words.

Sky Islands layering upon each other...

This thought gave Sengoku goosebumps, making him feel incredibly small.

Thousand Sunny

Luffy, Chopper, Usopp, Zoro, and Brook were all confused, struggling to understand.

Sanji kept smoking, trying to process the information.

"Dr. Clover from Ohara once proposed the concept of the universe."

Robin spoke up, catching everyone's attention.

"The doctor said our world is a sphere, and there are other spheres like it. Just like the sun and moon, the space that contains these is called the universe."

Robin explained as best she could.

Naruto World

Naruto looked at Jiraiya, hoping for an explanation.

However, Jiraiya was just as confused, feeling awkward but unable to lose face in front of his student. He awkwardly avoided eye contact.

"Is it like the Pure Land?"

Tsunade spoke after sipping her drink.

"There are many worlds like the Pure Land, and what we call the universe is just one of them."

Hearing this, Jiraiya suddenly understood.

"Oh! That's exactly what I was trying to say! You beat me to it, haha!"

Tsunade rolled her eyes at Jiraiya's remark and looked at the screen, realizing the situation was getting more complicated.

At that moment, the cold voice returned on the screen.

"Congratulations on successfully containing SCP-173. Rewards will now be distributed based on contributions."

"Primary contributors, Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton, will receive the Razo Mask and Falling Star Style respectively."

"The Razo Mask is one of the Ghost Shadow masks, capable of summoning countless spiked ghost soldiers. The mask itself erodes the user's will, but it has been processed to have no side effects."

"Falling Star Style is an archery skill from another world, where an arrow fired into the sky turns into countless falling stars, an excellent area attack method."

The voice ended, and Natasha found herself holding a scary-looking purple mask, while Clint's mind was filled with new information, feeling his body change.

"What is this mask?"

Natasha curiously put on the mask. Suddenly, shadows emerged at her feet, detaching from the ground to form black-clad soldiers with red eyes and sharp claws.

The sight scared everyone around her, causing them to back away nervously, wondering what was happening with the ghostly soldiers and SCP-173.

"Natasha, did you summon these?"

Clint, shocked, readied his bow for defense.

"It seems so."

Natasha also looked puzzled at the shadow soldiers with sharp claws.

The soldiers knelt before Natasha, pledging their loyalty.

Natasha stepped back in surprise.

"Hey?"

Natasha noticed some soldiers' claws piercing the steel floor. This was high-grade steel, and even bullets could only dent it. How could it be pierced so easily?

These shadow soldiers were not simple!

Seeing the soldiers obey Natasha, Clint relaxed and processed the new information in his mind.

"Falling Star Style, one arrow becomes many. Is this magic?"

Clint muttered as he walked to the window, eager to test the Falling Star Style.

He raised his bow and fired an arrow outside.

"Crack!"

The arrow pierced the glass and flew into the sky, seemingly uneventful.

"Of course, how could it work?"

Clint laughed at himself.

But the next second, to his shock, the arrow turned into dozens of falling stars, heading straight for the S.H.I.E.L.D. building!
