Marvel: Scientist Becomes God [R18]

Chapter 75: Marvel Scientist Becomes God, Ch 54.2

That unfortunate substitute would be Dracula.

"Excellent, I accept your loyalty," Ye Hai smiled.

Frost indeed had remarkable capabilities; he had spent decades building his power into a vast vampire army, surpassing old vampire forces like Dracula, which startled and frightened them, proving his competency.

With a subordinate like him, Ye Hai could carry out his underhanded endeavors through Frost without fearing rebellion, because the Blade would become the Blood God, a sharp sword over the vampires.

"You all go prepare for the ritual. I need to talk to the Blade!" Ye Hai commanded.

"Yes, my master!"

After a respectful ancient salute, Frost took the vampire elders to prepare for the summoning ritual. The elders, dragged away in a daze, were filled with despair, having chanted desperately, yet the statues showed no response.

With the vampires gone, only the Blade and Ye Hai remained.

The Blade looked at Ye Hai and asked, "What do you want me to do? Offer my loyalty like Frost?"

Ye Hai laughed, "I don't need your loyalty; I only require you to serve me for a hundred years. Once you become the Blood God, you will have eternal life, and a hundred years is nothing for you. How about it? It's a fair trade, isn't it?"

The Blade stared coldly at Ye Hai, nodding, "I have no objections, but can you live for a hundred years?"

Ye Hai chuckled, "Blade, that's a foolish question. Do you think with my abilities I wouldn't find a way to attain immortality?"

The Blade's gaze turned icy, and he bluntly said, "Are you planning to turn yourself into a vampire?"

"Wrong." Ye Hai shook his finger, "I have no interest in such lowly creatures as vampires. Don't flatter them too much; on this planet, many beings are far stronger than vampires, even among humans, there are powerful individuals, like those mutants."

"Ah, I forgot you are a mutant."

A faint, grim smile appeared on the Blade's face, still looking cold and rigid.

"Then I agree to this deal, but my usual tasks involve killing vampires. What will you have me do?"

"Just help me clear up some troubles; I prefer not to get my hands dirty," Ye Hai casually remarked, "Alright, let's begin the ritual."

Frost had already placed the thirteen vampire elders on the altar. Ye Hai proceeded to set up the altar as described in the vampire Bible. This setup was straightforward; it merely required the elders' blood to flow according to specific rules. The blood had to pass through various runes, and only those who comprehended the Bible could manage that.

As the blood of the elders was infused, the Eternal Night Palace began to shake, and the runes glowed red, making it seem as if the entire hall had come to life in an instant.

The Blade stood fearless at the center of the altar, white lightning striking him without him feeling even a hint of pain; rather, his blood began to boil.

His body was undergoing intense transformation.
