Chapter 77: Marvel Scientist Becomes God, Ch 55.2
"This Blood God is incredibly fast. It seems my Tier-3 mind domain agility isn't enough. I need to activate Tier-4 mind domain," Ye Hai thought to himself. "System, activate Tier-4 mind domain!"
"Yes, host activating Tier-4 mind domain. Consuming 1,000 scientific points. This state will last for 24 hours!"
"Gagagaga! Kid, you can't touch me! Your stamina will deplete quickly, while mine is endless! In the end, you will become my food! Delicious food, which I haven't had in many years."
The Blood God cackled with glee, but suddenly noticed Ye Hai standing still. His eyes lit up with delight as he rushed forward in a gust, instantly appearing behind Ye Hai and throwing a punch at his head.
At that moment, with the Tier-4 mind domain activated, Ye Hai's senses were heightened several times over. It was as if he had eyes in the back of his head. He swiftly reached back with his right hand and caught the incoming punch.
"This... how is this possible? Why have you suddenly become so much stronger?"
The Blood God was utterly shocked and attempted to pull back, but Ye Hai had a firm grip on him. No matter how hard he struggled, it was futile, so he kicked out in desperation.
Ye Hai merely shook his arm, and the immense force transferred to the Blood God, creating a series of cracking sounds as his bones shattered inch by inch. The Blood God crumpled like a soft-bodied creature to the ground, his eyes wide in disbelief.
"What kind of monster are you? You're not human!" the Blood God stammered in fear.
Ye Hai furrowed his brow and asked, "What are you? Are you a spirit?"
The Blood God grinned, "I am the Blood God; I am a deity..."
"Utter nonsense!"
Ye Hai kicked him square in the face, smashing it to a pulp.
But soon, this watermelon-like head reformed, looking perfectly intact, as if it had never been harmed.
"What a horrific ability to recover!"
Ye Hai marveled, realizing this grotesque regenerative capability was comparable to his own.
"Hehe, now you see how formidable I am, right?" The Blood God smirked. "You can't kill me; I am a god. How can a human possibly kill a god?"
"Stop pretending to be a god!"
Ye Hai relentlessly smashed the Blood God's head again and again. Though the Blood God revived each time, the intervals between his revivals grew longer and longer, and he began to look fatigued, parched, and increasingly desperate, his eyes revealing an intense thirst for blood.
Ye Hai deciphered the situation and remarked, "Your ability is strong, but it still hasn't transcended the boundaries of a vampire. Your energy source is still blood, and your internal reserves are dwindling. I bet you're eager to suck blood to regain your strength?"
The Blood God ignored him and began muttering an odd incantation. As he quickly completed his chant, the statues of the Eternal Night Palace began to come to life.
