Marvel: Scientist Becomes God [R18]

Chapter 89: Marvel Scientist Becomes God, Ch 61.1

"Ding! Task Triggered: Study the absorption gene of Little Rogue and integrate it into ordinary cells. Task duration: six months. Completion reward: 50,000 science points; failure penalty: deduct 30,000 science points."

The reward of 50,000 science points for task completion suggests that this absorption gene is different from others, perhaps much more significant, because in scientific research, the harder the task, the greater the reward.

Ye Hai felt no urgency; he believed in his abilities and was confident he could overcome this challenge, with the only difference being a few extra months of effort.

He recalled that adorable face, stirred slightly in his heart, and said, "Xuan Nu, inform Little Rogue to come to the lab frequently. I need to collect her biometric data regularly."

"Understood."

Collecting data was one aspect; the other was that the experimental research was quite dull, and he wanted to find some fun in his work. The timid and shy demeanor of that little girl tempted him greatly, especially her bold teasing before being taken away, which ignited his curiosity. He was eager to engage in some playful flirtation with her.

After a while, Xuan Nu replied, "Master, Storm informed me that Little Rogue has inexplicably left the Mutant Academy. The professor discovered her at the train station, and Wolverine along with Cyclops has set out to find her."

"Eh?" Ye Hai was slightly taken aback, thinking, "Is the plot about to unfold? Should I go meet Magneto now?"

He had always admired Magneto's powers; the ability to control magnetic fields in a steel-dominated modern society was indeed a formidable weapon that ordinary people couldn't hope to combat. Moreover, Magneto had devoted his life to the cause of mutants, being a true revolutionary figure for their kind, and Ye Hai was keen to meet such a character.

Making his decision, Ye Hai set off immediately. He exited the lab and soared into the sky like a fighter jet, roaring as he flew out.

This time, he wore a specially designed uniform crafted by the genius Beast, which could withstand high temperatures, was tough yet flexible, resembling an X-Men costume.

As a result, he flew swiftly; in less than a minute, he reached the airspace above the train station, hovering and scanning the crowd below.

Suddenly, there was a loud bang; a train on the station's roof was pierced by a red laser, and a figure burst through the window, landing on the plaza outside. The man had disheveled hair and a robust frame; despite being hit by the powerful laser, he emerged unscathed and stood up, baring his teeth and angrily charging into the terminal.

Ye Hai recognized this person—he was the saber-toothed tiger, known for his incredible regenerative abilities.

The saber-toothed tiger charged towards the waiting hall with a giant body, causing a ruckus as his powerful form intimidated passersby, who quickly scrambled to get out of his way.

In a swift dive, Ye Hai caught up to the saber-toothed tiger, grabbing his head and forcefully swinging him back. The saber-toothed tiger flew hundreds of meters into the air, landing far out of sight.
