Marvel's Magic Master: I Have a Clone in the Harry Potter World!

Chapter 103: Chapter 103: The Cat Takes the Wheel

A magical projection rose from the array, revealing an image of Mirajane left via her Memory Magic.

"Guild Master, thank you for your hard work at the council meeting!"

"Look, look! This is the beauty of our guild—a true stunner, isn't she?"

Makarov pointed proudly at Mirajane's image, beaming as he showed it off to the other guild masters. The others nodded in agreement, clearly impressed by her charm and grace.

However, Mirajane's next words nearly made Makarov fall flat on his back.

"While you've been away, something incredible happened at the guild. Believe it or not, Erza, Natsu, and Gray have formed a team. I think this might be the strongest team Fairy Tail has ever assembled!"

Moments earlier, one of the guild masters of the Four Hounds had just reminded Makarov to caution his mages against causing too much destruction, as the council feared they might one day destroy an entire city.

And now, Makarov was staring down the barrel of exactly that crisis. A team of Erza, Natsu, and Gray had the potential to level a city with frightening ease.

Fortunately, Mirajane's next words offered him a glimmer of hope.

"George's restoration magic has improved significantly—he can now instantly repair the entire guild hall. That's why I asked him to go with them.

I felt it was important to inform you, so I wrote this letter."

As her words concluded, the projection vanished. Makarov clasped his hands together in silent prayer.

"George, everything depends on you now!"

"Guild Master Makarov," one of the other guild masters asked curiously, "your guild has a mage who can use restoration magic? I've never heard of such a thing!"

Makarov puffed out his chest.

"Our Fairy Tail guild is brimming with talent! We have mages who can wield every kind of magic. George came to us because of our reputation. With him around, I'll never have to endure the council's complaints again!"

Another guild master, an elderly man with a full beard, speculated, "Perhaps it's not merely restoration magic but the long-lost Arc of Time."

The Arc of Time was an ancient, forgotten form of time magic capable of rewinding or fast-forwarding the state of objects and structures. It could restore damaged items, rebuild ruins, or even age objects to dust—but it had no effect on living beings.

Three Hours Later: Onibus Train Station

"Finite Leviosa!"

George canceled the Levitation Charm, gently lowering Natsu, and joined the group as they stepped off the train.

"Erza, do you know the exact location of the Iron Forest Guild?"

"No. Ever since they were expelled from the Guild Alliance six years ago and labeled a dark guild, their headquarters have moved. I'm not even sure if they're still in Onibus."

Erza shook her head, prompting simultaneous groans from Lucy and Happy.

"Then finding them is like searching for a needle in a haystack!"

"No problem. We just need to capture one of their mages, beat them half to death, and force them to spill the location."

Erza's straightforward solution made Gray sigh and rub his forehead.

"In a city this big, even finding a few mages won't be easy."

"Erza," George interjected, "do you know the name of any Iron Forest mages?"

Curious, the group turned to him. George continued, "I know tracking magic. If you give me a name, I can locate them."

Not wanting to waste time on a wild goose chase, George decided to step in and help.

"Impressive, George!" Erza exclaimed, scooping him into her arms again.

"Too hard!" George winced as his head collided with her armor. He resolved to keep his distance from Erza in the future. Her armor was far less forgiving than the comforting embrace of Mirajane.

"I don't know the names of the ones I overheard, but I do know a prominent Eisenwald mage: Erigor," Erza replied.

"Erigor is their guild master and strongest ace. He's never failed an assassination mission and is known as Death God Erigor."

"That's enough for me."

George pulled out his wand and cast a spell.

"Erigor, reveal direction!"

A golden arrow materialized in midair, pointing not toward the city but beyond its outskirts.

"George, your magic is so versatile!" Lucy remarked, her tone filled with admiration.

George chuckled. "I can't defeat a Vulcan Gorilla with a single finger like you, so I help where I can."

"For the last time, that's a baseless rumor!" Lucy's cheeks flushed red.

"The arrow's direction suggests they're outside the city—or even farther away. To save time, I suggest we rent a magical vehicle," Gray proposed.

If the Iron Forest Guild was in the nearby woods, they could reach it within a couple of hours. But if it had relocated to another city, traveling on foot could take days.

Additionally, the arrow only tracked Erigor's position, so he might not even be at the guild.

"I agree," George said, nodding. Compared to the overly simplistic Natsu and the eccentric Erza, Gray's logic seemed far more reliable.

"I don't agree! I'm not riding in a car!" Natsu immediately objected, only to be silenced when Erza knocked him to the ground with a single punch.

"Objection overruled. I'll rent a car. Wait for me outside the station," Erza ordered.

Shortly afterward, Erza pulled up in a green magical vehicle outside the station.

George examined the vehicle curiously.

"So this is a magic-powered car?"

In this magical world, most machinery—guns, cannons, and even vehicles—was powered by magic rather than electricity or gasoline.

The magic car's design was straightforward: a regular seating area in the back and a driver's seat at the front, resembling a carriage. The controls included a steering lever, pedals for acceleration and braking, and a bracelet to channel magic into the vehicle.

"Get in! Whatever Erigor plans to do with the Cursed Flute, it can't be good. We need to find him quickly," Erza urged, waving them over.

George hesitated for a moment before shaking his head.

"Erza, I think it'd be better if I drove the car."

"You? Don't be ridiculous! Driving this car requires a lot of magic power. Only I have enough to keep it running for long distances," Erza replied, surprised by his suggestion.
