Marvel's Magic Master: I Have a Clone in the Harry Potter World!

Chapter 104: Chapter 104: The Speeding Big Cat

However, George wasn't ready to give up just yet.

"Erza, it's precisely because you're the strongest here that you need to conserve your magic. If your magic is heavily depleted when we find the Eisenwald, things could get really troublesome."

"Don't worry," Erza replied firmly. "Even without magic, I'd fight to the end with a stick if I had to. Besides, Natsu and Gray are here, too."

On the side, Natsu exhaled a burst of flame towards the sky, his face full of excitement.

"Hahaha, leave it to me, Fairy Tail's strongest wizard! I'll take them all down!"

"I'm the strongest wizard in Fairy Tail!" Gray countered, casually removing his jacket to reveal his well-defined abs.

"What did you say, you boring exhibitionist?"

"You flaming idiot! Want to fight right here and now?"

"Bring it on! Let's settle this once and for all today!"

"You two, cut it out!" Erza snapped. "As teammates, you're supposed to care for one another! How can you talk like this?"

She removed the connection device from her wrist, got out of the vehicle, and landed a punch on each of them, flooring both in an instant.

Seizing the opportunity, George hopped into the driver's seat.

"While my abilities are limited, my magic recovers quickly. If it really comes down to it, you can switch to me when needed."

After all, George had wizard bloodline abilities, making the concept of running out of magic nearly irrelevant to him.

"But George, even if you could provide magic, you can't actually drive the car. Your paws can't reach the controls or the brakes," Lucy pointed out with a raised hand.

George, being a cat only about 30 centimeters long, couldn't operate a magic vehicle despite being able to channel magic. Unless someone else drove while he supplied the magic, it wouldn't work.

"That's not a problem."

Eager to experience the thrill of driving, George conjured a magic circle above his head. His small feline body instantly expanded into a majestic golden cat the size of a tiger.

He climbed into the driver's seat, slid the connection device onto his paw, placed his front paws on the steering wheel, and used his rear paws to reach the accelerator and brake.

"Happy, how can there be such a difference between cats?" Lucy muttered, glancing between the transformed George and Happy, who was perched on Natsu's shoulder eating fish.

Happy, having overheard her comment, looked at Erza and then back at Lucy before delivering a precise retort:

"Lucy, how can there be such a difference between female wizards?"

Lucy felt instantly attacked.

"Let's go!"

Once Erza, Natsu, Gray, Happy, and Lucy were all crammed into the car, George floored the accelerator, and the magic vehicle shot off like a rocket. In no time, it was just a green dot in the distance.

"Who would've thought I could enjoy the thrill of speeding in another world?"

With a smooth drift around a sharp corner, George overtook a horse-drawn carriage, marveling at the exhilarating experience.

The coachman, now behind him, rubbed his eyes in disbelief.

"Did I just see… a giant cat driving a car?"

"George, at this speed, can your magic sustain it?" Erza leaned out of the back to ask with concern.

George swished his tail confidently. "No problem."

Speeding felt exhilarating for George. One moment of thrill followed another.

Half an hour later, near the Kunukis Station, a team of armored soldiers stopped George's speeding vehicle, dumbfounded.

"Cat… stop! Submit to inspection!"

"We are wizards from Fairy Tail. Is there a problem?" Erza promptly got out and identified herself.

After verifying her magical tattoo, the squad leader explained:

"Apologies, but wizards from the Dark Guild Eisenwald hijacked a train at this station. We're conducting routine checks."

The magic vehicle roared back to life. Following the direction of the magical arrow, the group discussed the Iron Forest's motives for hijacking a train.

Trains could only travel along fixed tracks, but they could carry many passengers and were faster than typical horse-drawn carriages.

They deduced that Iron Forest likely intended to transport the cursed flute to a city where the train would stop.

Sure enough, the arrow kept pointing in the direction of the tracks, confirming their suspicion.

Passing through the Oshibana City, they soon approached Clover City.

"There it is!"

Not far from Clover City, they found an abandoned train on the tracks. Unfortunately, it was empty—no sign of the Iron Forest wizards.

"It seems their target is Clover City," Erza said with a frown.

George's expression turned serious. "If I'm not mistaken, that's where the guild masters are holding their annual meeting."

George recalled asking Mirajane about the guild master's whereabouts the previous day, and she had mentioned this year's meeting location.

"George, are you saying their target is our guild master?" Lucy exclaimed, wide-eyed.

Gray's body emitted a chilling aura. "Not just our master. Imagine what would happen if all the guild masters were cursed to death simultaneously with the cursed flute."

"The train's wheels are still warm—it stopped not long ago," Erza said, her expression grave.

"George, please continue using your tracking magic. We must stop them before they reach the masters!"

"As a member of Fairy Tail, it's my duty!" George declared.

He activated his tracking spell again and drove the magic vehicle in hot pursuit of the Eisenwald wizards.

Finally, on the streets of Clover City, they intercepted Erigor and the other Eisenwald wizards.

"Erigor, surrender the cursed flute! Don't make this worse!"

"Who are you?"

Erigor, shirtless with bandaged hands and wielding a scythe, squinted at the group blocking his path.

He was so close to the northern mansion, where he planned to unleash the flute's curse and kill all the guild masters. How had these people intercepted him? And how did they know about his plan and the cursed flute?

"Fairy Tail wizards Erza!"

"Natsu!"

"Gray!"

"Lucy!"

"Happy!"

"George!"

After instinctively shouting his name alongside the others, George felt an inexplicable surge of excitement.

However, he quickly suppressed it. As a wizard, he decided it wasn't in his style to charge forward yelling about friendship and camaraderie.
