MEGA SLIME REBORN (LITRPG) [Under reconstruction]

Chapter 32: Uh-huh

As I was wondering about what to do about the name of the restaurant chain and the name of our group, I saw something. Something twitching. No, it was swaying with the wind….

Ah yes… “Mmh!” she let out a soft moan. I was merely petting her tail and stroking it too. “What?” Sen said, leaning close to me, staring at me with droopy ears and a blushed face, almost like she was anticipating something.

Almost all of them were done with dinner. The newbies were getting settled.

“Well, I’ve decided on a name for our organization.”

The girls were all paying attention, while Sen had been moaning silently. I could definitely hear them and her heavy breathing though. Seriously, how come her tail was so damn sensitive?

And it was so warm and fluffy almost like… Let’s not make that connection…

Ahem. “Fluffy Tails.”

Josie sighed, and loudly too. “Why not just name it Sen’s Paradise at that point?”

“Not a bad idea,” I reconsidered. “Fluffy Tails Paradise!”

Josie groaned. “Never mind.”

The girls had odd looks but no one complained. Sen blushed a bit more than necessary though… no wait, it was because I was still stroking her tail.

And so, Fluffy Tails Paradise was formed!

***

The next day, I went over to the mayor’s house. The Baron and lord of this city. I needed permission from him to enter the dungeon. We waited by his waiting room, just me and Josie.

Of course, I could have just gone past their barricades but that was going to be a drag (and I had to absorb about twenty humans), so I didn’t bother.

Besides, getting a permission slip from the mayor was pretty simple. I just had to pay 1 gold coin and enter the dungeon as a visitor. His attendant insisted I meet the mayor personally though.

According to Bestiary, I didn’t really need to absorb the core of the dungeon. I could just touch it, and assimilate it without absorbing it. That way, the dungeon would become part of my network and I could travel between the places. Of course, for small dungeons like these, I’d pretty much become the Dungeon Master. For larger ones like ones with 10+ floors, it’d be super tricky without excessive amounts of mana which I didn’t have. Maybe I can just use the stones.

Actually, how much mana did I have right now?

Level: 24

Strength: 18

Speed: 17

Mana: 39

Stamina: 11

Luck: 3

HP: 95/96

MP: 360/390

Not bad but nothing too impressive. Leveling had become kind of slow too.

“The mayor would see you now,” an attendant said. He motioned us to follow him.

We did.

Wooden place. Not bad but nothing grand. Just a bigger than usual house.

“Only Lady Claudia will be allowed in,” the man said at one point, before a door.

“Stay here Josie,” I said.

She obliged.

I went in.

Medium room. A man behind a table. Typical. As expected. I didn’t expect the man to be a fatty with little hair and that lascivious smile though.

Maybe absorbing twenty people was a better route after all?

Still, I greeted him and took my seat.

“You want to see the dungeon?” he asked.

“Yes, I’ve always dreamed of seeing an actual dungeon. Father wouldn’t let me see the dungeon in our city, but he did allow me to come here. He said the dungeon here isn’t that dangerous.”

“And he was right,” he smiled. Yellow. No, gold.

“Young miss,” he started walking around the room. “How old are you?”

“Seventeen…” With about twenty or was it thirty years to spare? Wait, how fucking old was I when I died? Huh. Fuck… Yeah, I was starting to forget my last life’s shit already.

Damn it!

“So young… yet so far from home. Aren’t you scared?”

“Josie is here with me, so no.”

“Would you like for me to send in more knights with you?” he gently touched my face lifting it up a bit, staring into my eyes.

Huh… so that’s why the attendant wanted to us to meet.

“That would help but… I can’t trouble you so much.”

“Oh, don’t worry. I’m merely being friendly. I truly care for you, you see…” Big wide smile, teeth showing.

“Thank you very much.”

Drag…

So, although I did receive the permission, he sent two knights with me whom I promptly broke with Mind Break and hid in some bushes. They weren’t going to wake up for at least a day.

“Guess it’s just you and me,” I said.

“Yeah. Exciting!” Josie sure was pumped.

Uh-huh.
