MHA: A King's Legacy (BNHA x AOT)

Chapter 81: 81: Semi-Finals [III]

As the crowd continued to buzz with excitement, Midnight's voice rang out across the stadium once again. The tension in the air was thick, as the remaining competitors prepared for their respective battles.

After several grueling matches, only a few students remained in the running for the prestigious title. Among them, two were particularly captivating: Aiden, with his immense strength and confidence, and Shoto, with his mastery over both ice and fire.

The atmosphere was electric, the air crackling with anticipation. It was clear that the final rounds would be nothing short of intense.

[nth Match]

The first match of the day was set to be a battle of contrasting styles. Aiden, known for his incredible physical prowess and nearly unmatched quirk abilities, was facing off against Tokoyami, a student from Class 1-A whose quirk, Dark Shadow, could bring forth a powerful, shadowy creature that he controlled.

Aiden stood tall and confident in the center of the arena, wearing his royal robes that billowed slightly in the wind. His eyes, glowing faintly with an ethereal blue and gold radiance, surveyed the area, his muscles rippling with power.

He wasn't here to show off with his quirk—he was here to demonstrate the raw strength that made him so formidable.

Across from him stood Tokoyami, who appeared calm yet focused. His black feathers and imposing dark silhouette, enhanced by the looming presence of Dark Shadow, gave him an air of mystery. His yellow eyes locked onto Aiden, calculating his every move.

"Don't hold back," Aiden called out to Tokoyami, his voice both calm and teasing. "I want to see what you've got."

Tokoyami didn't respond verbally but nodded in acknowledgment. With a deep breath, he called upon Dark Shadow, and the large, shadowy creature erupted from his body, flapping its massive wings as it took form, the arena plunging into darkness around them.

"I'll take that as a challenge, then," Tokoyami muttered, his voice steady despite the overwhelming presence of Dark Shadow. "Dark Shadow, unleash your power!"

Immediately, the arena was plunged into a wave of swirling shadows. Dark Shadow's large claws shot out toward Aiden, but the young royal was already moving. With incredible speed and agility, Aiden dodged the first few strikes, his body fluid as he danced around the looming shadow creature.

The students watching were stunned by how quickly Aiden could move for someone of his imposing build.

"Not bad," Aiden mused, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "But I'm not the kind to run from a fight."

With a burst of strength, Aiden leaped toward Tokoyami, throwing a massive punch that sent shockwaves through the air. Tokoyami reacted quickly, commanding Dark Shadow to intercept the blow, but Aiden's punch was too powerful.

Dark Shadow roared as the impact sent it sprawling back. Tokoyami grunted, his stance faltering for just a moment.

"I've got more where that came from," Aiden called, grinning as he charged once again. This time, Tokoyami was ready. He summoned Dark Shadow to create a defensive barrier of shadow, which absorbed the force of Aiden's punch but buckled under the immense pressure.

Aiden's smile widened. He was enjoying this.

With a quick twist of his body, Aiden landed behind Tokoyami, using his enhanced physical abilities to move with the precision of a seasoned warrior.

Tokoyami attempted to summon Dark Shadow to defend himself, but before he could react, Aiden delivered a powerful kick to his back, sending him stumbling forward.

Tokoyami quickly regained his footing and raised his arms, commanding Dark Shadow to lash out in a frenzy of wild strikes. But Aiden's reflexes were lightning fast, and he dodged and countered with ease.

The speed and ferocity of Aiden's physical attacks were overwhelming.

Tokoyami, his face determined, finally managed to summon a wave of shadows that enveloped Aiden. Dark Shadow wrapped around Aiden's limbs, attempting to bind him in place. The crowd held its breath as the young royal struggled against the shadowy tendrils.

But Aiden wasn't one to be held down for long.

With a powerful flex of his muscles, Aiden broke free, his aura flaring with radiant energy. He slammed his fist into the ground, sending shockwaves through the arena that shattered the shadowy bindings and knocked Dark Shadow off balance.

Aiden wasted no time, charging forward and delivering a crushing blow to Tokoyami's midsection, knocking him off his feet.

"I think it's over," Aiden said casually, looking down at Tokoyami with a grin. "You fought well."

Tokoyami, breathless and battered, nodded in respect. He had given his all, but against someone like Aiden, he simply couldn't keep up. Midnight stepped forward, raising her hand.

"Winner: Aiden Wilhelm Fritz!"

The crowd erupted into applause as Aiden helped Tokoyami to his feet. They exchanged a nod of respect, both of them understanding the power that each brought to the battle. Aiden gave a confident grin before stepping out of the ring, ready for the next challenge.

[nth Match]

The next match was highly anticipated. Shoto Todoroki, the son of Endeavor, whose quirk allowed him to control both ice and fire, was set to face off against Ibara Shiozaki from Class 1-B.

Ibara, with her vine-like hair and her quirk Vine, could control massive vines, using them to trap or ensnare her opponents.

Ibara stood tall in the arena, her long hair swaying gently in the wind as her vines moved around her, ready to strike. Her expression was calm, but there was a certain fierceness in her eyes that made it clear she wasn't here to lose.

Shoto, standing at the opposite end of the arena, was equally composed. His eyes were cold, and his stance was perfect. He wasn't here to play games—he was here to win.

The crowd fell silent as the battle began.

Ibara immediately extended her vines, sending them snaking across the arena toward Shoto. The tendrils moved with incredible speed, aiming to ensnare him in their grip. Shoto responded by instantly conjuring a wall of ice between himself and the advancing vines, blocking the attack with ease.

Ibara frowned, but she wasn't deterred. With a snap of her fingers, she sent her vines wrapping around the ice wall, attempting to break it down.

The ice cracked and splintered under the pressure, but Shoto wasn't done yet.

With a sharp motion, Shoto sent a blast of fire from his other side, melting the vines that came too close. The arena was filled with the sounds of crackling flames and the swish of the vines as they collided in a battle of elements.

Ibara was relentless, sending vine after vine, some of them thick and sturdy enough to attempt to bind Shoto's limbs, but Shoto's quick thinking kept him ahead. He switched between ice and fire, using each element in perfect harmony to keep his opponent at bay.

The crowd watched in awe as he danced between flames and frost, his movements fluid and strategic.

Ibara, however, wasn't giving up. She extended a massive vine toward Shoto, this time aiming for his feet in an attempt to trip him up. Shoto barely managed to avoid it, but just as he did, Ibara launched another attack from behind, wrapping her vines around his waist and attempting to pull him toward the ground.

But Shoto's response was swift. He sent a blast of ice directly beneath him, creating a slick surface that sent Ibara sliding away just as she thought she had him trapped.

He then created a massive pillar of ice that shot up from the ground, launching himself high into the air and out of Ibara's reach.

"I'm not finished yet!" Ibara shouted, sending more vines up into the air to trap Shoto as he descended. She moved quickly, determined to gain the upper hand.

Shoto, however, had a different plan in mind. As the vines reached for him, he summoned a huge wall of ice beneath him, sending a surge of cold energy outward that froze the vines in place, trapping them.

As Ibara tried to free her vines, Shoto descended with his fire blazing, delivering a final powerful blast of flame that scorched the area around him.

Ibara, her vines now frozen and unable to continue the fight, dropped to her knees, exhausted and defeated. Midnight stepped forward, raising her hand.

"Winner: Shoto Todoroki!"

The crowd went wild as Shoto nodded respectfully toward Ibara, acknowledging her strength. Ibara, though disappointed, smiled in return, showing the spirit of a true warrior.

With the last two matches complete, the stage was set for the final round of the U.A. Sports Festival. The results of the previous battles were tallied, and the remaining students who had advanced to the finals were as follows:

Aiden Wilhelm Fritz (Class 1-A)

Shoto Todoroki (Class 1-A)

The two of them stood as the final contenders for the prestigious title. Aiden's raw strength and immense power had allowed him to breeze through his battles without fully relying on his quirk, while Shoto's mastery of both ice and fire had allowed him to outsmart and outfight his opponents with ease.

The semifinals were over, and now, all that remained was the showdown between these two titans.

The arena fell silent in anticipation as the crowd awaited the ultimate final battle.
