Chapter 23: Chapter 21 All Might's Special Training
After Midoriya Izuku finished speaking, All Might nodded, his tone becoming serious. "This will be the first time you two fight together. Let's see if you can coordinate effectively. If you join the Hero course in the future, teamwork will be essential. A lone hero can only do so much; true miracles happen when people unite."
Midoriya Izuku glanced at Akira, his curiosity evident. To him, Akira seemed almost invincible. Hesitating slightly, he finally asked, "All Might, does Akira have any weaknesses?"
All Might laughed heartily, his booming voice full of warmth. "Weaknesses? Of course, everyone has them!"
Izuku leaned in, his eyes sparkling with interest. "So, what's his?"
All Might scratched his head awkwardly. "To be honest, young Midoriya, I have no idea. But..." His expression turned serious as he addressed Akira directly. "Kitagawa boy, you're too focused on your training. Balance is crucial, and overexerting yourself can lead to burnout. Remember to take care of your body."
Akira smiled faintly. "Don't worry, All Might. I'm careful."
"Good to hear." All Might gave a thumbs up before gesturing for them to follow. He led them to a beach, the setting sun casting a warm glow over the waves. Transforming into his muscular form, he stood tall and imposing.
"Before we begin, discuss your strategy," All Might suggested, crossing his arms.
Akira shook his head. "No need. We barely know each other's fighting styles. Over-planning might just limit us."
Izuku nodded, agreeing with Akira. "It's better to adapt on the fly. Besides, real battles aren't predictable."
All Might chuckled, impressed by their reasoning. "Fair enough. Let's see how you handle this, then."
### The Training Begins
As the battle commenced, Akira and Izuku positioned themselves on opposite sides of All Might. Akira's sharp gaze observed their mentor's stance, while Izuku clenched his fists, nerves and determination warring within him.
Izuku made the first move, charging toward All Might. With a loud shout, he leaped and swung his fist toward All Might's midsection.
*Smack!*
All Might caught the punch effortlessly, not even flinching. "You'll need to hit harder than that, Midoriya!" he teased before flicking Izuku with a finger. The force sent him tumbling backward, a cloud of sand rising in his wake.
Seizing the distraction, Akira appeared behind All Might, his movements swift and precise. His fist aimed for All Might's back, but their mentor spun around in time to catch it. Despite the block, All Might's feet slid back slightly from the impact.
"Impressive strength, Kitagawa boy!" All Might grinned, but his grin faltered as Akira dissolved into a cloud of sand, slipping out of his grasp and re-materializing to his side.
"Not bad," Akira muttered, sweeping a kick toward All Might. The No. 1 Hero blocked it, but the force made him take a step back.
"You're making me work for it," All Might said, his tone filled with approval.
Before All Might could launch a counterattack, Izuku was back on his feet. This time, his arm crackled with energy as he activated *One for All*. Bright particles of light swirled around his fist as he charged forward.
"Green Valley boy—stop! You're pushing yourself too far!" All Might warned, his voice tinged with concern.
Izuku gritted his teeth, determination blazing in his eyes. "I've got this, All Might!"
He punched toward the ground, unleashing a burst of power. A shockwave erupted, sending sand flying everywhere and creating a crater beneath his feet. But the recoil was too much for his untrained body—his arm hung limply at his side, clearly dislocated.
"Midoriya!" Akira called out, quickly rushing to his side. He helped steady his teammate, his brows furrowed in frustration. "What were you thinking, using *One for All* like that? You're not ready to control it yet."
Izuku winced, clutching his injured arm. "I… I thought I could handle it. I didn't want to hold us back."
Akira sighed, his tone softening. "You're not holding anyone back. But don't let your eagerness become recklessness. Injuring yourself won't help anyone."
All Might approached, his expression a mix of pride and concern. "Young Midoriya, your determination is admirable, but you must learn restraint. Tomorrow is the Hero Entrance Exam. You won't get far if you're injured."
Izuku nodded, his voice trembling. "I understand. I'll be more careful."
"All right, training's over for today," All Might declared, his booming voice cutting through the tension. "Both of you performed admirably. I'm confident you'll do great tomorrow."
As the trio walked back, the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in shades of orange and purple. Despite the day's challenges, there was a sense of quiet camaraderie among them—a shared understanding that they were each taking their first steps toward greatness.
