Chapter 61- Introverted excuse!
It took a half day and a good night's sleep for Yuna to finally settle the connection with Kei.
It was probably one of the best sleep of her life where she was able to feel the closeness to her favorite person increasing slowly yet surely.
Yuna initially didn't think to develop things in such a way when she first heard of Kei's arrival. It was his confession about his two lovers which ignited the flames of jealousy in her heart and she had to retort with such a forceful method.
Yuna was afraid of his refusal when she first transferred her core energy to him. Apart from her soul, her emotions would have hurt as well.
She had no idea what she might have done if because of her actions, suddenly Kei had forbidden her from seeing him.
She was strong and capable but not to the point where she could rebel against his decision. Unlucky, she fell for the only being whom Yuna couldn't conquer.
She was afraid of losing him but the feeling of envy and greed blinded her enough to take such a step.
But her worries concluded futile as he responded positively and gave her consent to form a bond.
Their bond.
"It's rare to see you smile, dear."
Yuna sighed as she completely forgot about the existence in the palace who could dare to intrude in her room without alerting Yuna.
Straightening her back, she tidied her messed-up hair as the morning glow bathed all over, giving the princess a breathtaking touch-up.
Her heart felt slightly heavy as she didn't find Kei anywhere in the fort. The last she remembers vividly was how he protectively embraced her last night as she fell into a deep slumber.
It was a blissful sensation.
"Aww…don't make that face. Grandpa has promised he would come more often now."
Anastasia consoled her disheartened daughter as she gently patted the girl.
With her gaze unfocused Yuna spilled the thoughts, she has been thinking for a while after she came to know about Kei's new center of attractions.
"I will be leaving for a while mother."
Anastasia sighed in resignation as she already knew this was coming ever since the Empress heard about the bond from Kei last night.
The way he bowed his head and asked for forgiveness about Yuna was too overwhelming for Ashwath. It was she who handled the matter and assured Kei that nothing he did was worthy to feel bad about.
After Kei finally settled down, he informed that he would be leaving for the southern continent of Ismihar to deal with the illegal trade.
Ashwath wanted to send reinforcement but Kei kindly refused the offer since he found it would be a waste of resources and Kei didn't want to involve the Royal family in this matter.
The last thing for which Kei apologized was the banquet for which he wouldn't be present since there was something urgent he had to deal with in the lower realm.
Ashwath and Anastasia understood that the matter was severe so they didn't persist and bid their farewell to the Eternal Prince with a satisfied smile.
This time Kei left a reason to return which made the couple quite relieved.
With a smile adorning her face, Anastasia whispered in a soothing tone.
"Just be safe out there, Yuna."

At an unknown location, Kei woke up from his sleep and slowly arose from the makeshift bed he carries in his spatial storage.
Last night he had some bloody war with the Southern kingdom because they plainly refused to accept that any kind of unlawful trade has partaken.
From their behavior, it was confirmed that the King of Rohzwar was aware of the trade and he was just denying the fact shamelessly.
Kei was left with no choice rather than to interrogate them in his own way and at the end of the day, annihilate some of the heirs in order to instill fear in them.
He hoped that no other nation try to imitate such a taboo since the repercussions might create a dull imbalance among the realms.
'I should have stayed tho… '
Sighing, he once again blamed his introverted nature which forced a lie to Anastasia and Ashwath about his urgent business when he really didn't have to hurry.
He just couldn't handle unwanted attention.
While he appreciate their kindness, he did not want the focus to shift to Black Bounty all of a sudden.
About Yuna, then Kei had currently no idea how he would handle her matter. The bond they share now was anything but familial. It was like a marriage contract and Kei yesterday put a stamp on their relationship.
He was sure that Karen and Kaori would understand if he explains properly but he was more complicated about his own feelings toward Yuna.
"Let's see… "
Walking on the wooden floor he approached a full-body mirror that was leaning on the wall.
His face was the same that he adapted for Chaos Realm just he regressed his size and compressed his divine magical.
Transfiguring was never his fortè but with concentration, Kei was able to change his hair into light brown color and extended it to reach up to his shoulders.
The next thing he did was to change his eye color to faded emerald to look like a native of the place.
And lastly, he stretched his ear until it ended up with a sharp tip.
"Now let's gather some information… "
