The assistant sent me mint chocolate bread.

It was a polarizing food choice.

“I don’t really like it, but I don’t hate it either.”

Truth is, I used to be quite a picky eater.

I wouldn’t even touch foods I disliked, like mint chocolate.

I’ve learned the value of food.

I almost starved when I fell into this other world.

So now, I’ve adopted a no-picky-eating policy.

I don’t have that kind of ability.

So, I needed to tame the monsters without injuring them as much as possible.

Many people know what my hobby is.

Whenever asked about my hobbies, I always answered that I love drawing.

I often sketched in my notebook whenever I had free time.

And the fact that drawing calms my mind…

The model for today’s drawing was none other than the Dog Spider.

Not just it.

I planned to capture every monster I encounter in the labyrinth in drawings.

By documenting their appearance, abilities, habits, and weaknesses, I could handle encounters with the same types of monsters much more effectively in the future.

In other words, it was work to create a Monster Index.
