A dilapidated town on the outskirts of the Land of Fire, where two elite ninjas are fiercely battling. All the townspeople are hiding indoors, afraid to show themselves. Amidst this chaos, a five-year-old child casually strolls into the scene, drawing attention.
Both Chiba Tengfei and the Blood Ninja can't help but glance at the child. A dark thought crosses their minds—when two opponents are fighting desperately, the last thing they want is a third party to intervene.
However, upon seeing that the child is merely a special jōnin, they both feel a sense of relief. A special jōnin isn't a big threat. After dealing with their current opponents, they can easily handle him.
The battle is already intense. Tengfei, having used his family's forbidden technique, only has an hour before it wears off, so he has no time to waste. He needs to defeat his enemy quickly, or he risks being fatally injured by his accumulated wounds.
"Blood Ninja, die!" Tengfei roars, rapidly forming seals with his hands. "Chiba Secret Art: Thousand Flame Kill!"
His long hair, stimulated by chakra, turns as sharp as steel needles and bursts into flames, shooting out toward the Blood Ninja.
"Seeking death!" The Blood Ninja grits his teeth and forms seals at the same time. "Blood Secret Art: Threefold Blood Curse!"
A blood-red palm shoots out, tearing through the air with a shockwave that rapidly splits into three separate waves, charging toward Tengfei.
The two powerful A-rank techniques collide mid-air.

The shockwave from their clash sends tremors through the street, cracking buildings and killing several bystanders who couldn't escape in time. But the shockwave dissipates before reaching the child, who remains unaffected except for his clothes fluttering in the wind.
Both fighters take a step back, quickly resuming the fight using hand-to-hand combat. The sound of kunai clashing fills the air, and the two ninjas blur into shadows, only the sound of their weapons and chakra explosions marking the intense exchange.
The child, now revealed to be Uchiha Gen, watches carefully. His Sharingan is activated, and he is closely observing the movements of both ninjas.
"Is that someone from the Chiba clan?" Gen mutters to himself. He notices the symbol of a leaf in front of the green-clad youth, recognizing it as the emblem of the Chiba clan.
Gen doesn't know much about the Chiba clan, as they were barely mentioned in the original series. However, he knows they are located south of the Uchiha clan and that their power is considerable. Over 20 years ago, they allegedly ambushed the Uchiha clan during the battle with the Senju, but were defeated and have since kept a low profile.
"Is this the younger generation, out here for some experience?" Gen thinks. He has no intention of interfering in their battle. The two are clearly engrossed in their fight, and he doesn't want to get caught up in it. Besides, this could be a great opportunity to watch a real-life fight between ninjas.
After a moment, a figure stumbles back and lands on a nearby house. It's the Blood Ninja.
"Don't think you can buy time. Die!" Tengfei roars again, his hands forming seals with incredible speed. He has less than an hour to finish the fight, and he's eager to finish it fast.
"Secret Art: Chiba Explosive Flame Break!"
Strong chakra gathers in front of Tengfei, creating a powerful attack that resembles an S-rank technique.
"Earth Style: Earth Flow Ocean!" The Blood Ninja sneers, quickly forming his own seals. His hands slam down, and the ground beneath Tengfei becomes a swamp.
Tengfei slips, and his attack goes astray, shooting into the sky. The brilliant flash disappears into the horizon.
"You can use Earth Style?" Tengfei exclaims in disbelief.
Gen is also surprised. Although Earth Style isn't rare in the Land of Fire, it's not something you expect from a ninja like the Blood Ninja. He should have been well known for his abilities, and this Earth Style must be a recent addition.
"Kid, sometimes, information can get you killed." The Blood Ninja grins cruelly and performs a new technique. "Blood Secret Art: Blood Saber!"
Two long swords of blood-red chakra materialize in the air and stab toward Tengfei, who is stuck in the mud.
"Damn!" Tengfei struggles to escape, but unable to free himself, he uses the Body Flicker Technique to avoid the swords and appears a short distance away.
"Just waiting for you to move." The Blood Ninja grins and traps Tengfei with another Earth Style technique. "Earth Style: Earth Prison Trap!"
Walls of earth spring up around Tengfei, trapping him in a small cell. The sounds of attacks against the walls echo as the Blood Ninja's chakra reinforces the earth, preventing Tengfei from escaping.
"So naive!" The Blood Ninja laughs coldly, calculating that Tengfei will be trapped until the technique's time runs out. Once his forbidden technique expires, Tengfei will be powerless, an easy target.
Looking at Gen watching from the street, the Blood Ninja briefly considers taking him out, but upon seeing the Sharingan and the Uchiha clan symbol on Gen's back, he hesitates.
"A Uchiha? He's just watching our fight, not interfering. He must be passing by. If he doesn't attack me, I don't need to worry about him. The Uchiha clan… best to avoid provoking them." The Blood Ninja thinks to himself, dismissing Gen as a non-threat.
After an hour, the battle inside the Earth Prison dies down. The Blood Ninja removes the earth walls and finds Tengfei lying motionless on the ground, breathing faintly.
"Kid, you still won't die? Blood Sword!" The Blood Ninja forms seals and creates a short sword of chakra, preparing to stab Tengfei.
Suddenly, a huge fireball erupts in front of Tengfei, destroying the Blood Sword. A five-year-old child walks calmly over to Tengfei, standing before him.
"Kid, you're asking for death!" The Blood Ninja grits his teeth, thinking that he had spared Tengfei's life, and now the child is interfering.
"Don't mention it. I'm just here to steal the kill." The child responds casually.
