Naruto: Mind over matter

Pov: Riku

"Come on... you promised.." Eiko nudges me.

"We are in a tent... in the middle of the hyuga area... and you are not so quiet" I reply.

"Hmf- always ruining my fun" She pouts.

I turn around and hug her closer... she hugs me as tight as possible.

...

"Any design choices you want in our new house?" I ask.

Rock Sage, me and Ace are going to personally build my new house, I asked to have it where the Uchiha district was- a nice and calm place where it will be far from anyone else as requested by the loud lady I am currently hugging.

"Hmmm... can you have the kitchen be smaller? I want to have to squeeze past you..." She mumbles into my chest and I raise my eyebrows. The kitchen was a bit too big before...

My face breaks into the biggest smile and my eyes water... I missed her so much.

"Sure... I will design the house a pervert can only dream of.." I reply choking on my words.

"Thank you... I love you Rabbit" She chokes out too... good to know that we are both overwhelmed in happiness.

"Love you Wolf" I respond and we both fall asleep together.

...

Waking up next morning I look up to see Eiko's face inches from mine, sleeping so calmly she hugs my neck and drools onto our tent bed.

I chuckle and have my telekinetic sense expanded to see all the construction ongoing.

People are up and working already and so is my crew who have regenerated after the fight.

Ace is using sage mode to control and create the foundations of our new house, he just started an hour ago after he was in top shape again.

Rock Sage is creating the foundations for ten houses at once and going to the next set- he has been working through the night and I am sure that the citizens love Rock sage the most out of the terrors, he is making this construction ten times faster and that may be an understatement.

Almighty and Anchor were ordered to handle multiple jobs for the Hokage while she is unconscious- mostly receiving panicked ninja who came back from missions and assigning them work again... technically the Hokage needs to approve this but everyone is understanding of our situation right now.

Javelin is the second best helper right now as communication is pivotal in the day after the attack, a summon-able bird that can talk through its chakra and leave motes of its chakra in a rock to continue relaying messages for multiple people.

Jaunt is helping T&I hunt down the criminals that escaped during the attack.

Jewel is entertaining children with a few teachers while there parents come back from missions and or do work on the rebuilding.

Edge is time out... he is very, very, very aggressive and not helping to ease the minds of those in despair still.

Emrys is not needed for my body since my regeneration via peins path so he is chilling with Anchor.

Ezra is equipped to a carpenter and is helping him right now- he is getting passed around to who needs him most really.

I wipe the drool from Eiko's face and kiss her forehead.

"Mmm-" she groans in annoyance as she has to wake up.

I lick her neck and whisper into her earlobe.

"Get up~ we have so much to do... together~" I moan seductively.

Her eyes go wide and her face goes red... she looks at me and a dumb smile twitches onto her face.

"N-Now?" She asks with hope.

"Nope. Knew that would get you up though" I respond playfully and she pouts before hitting me in the shoulder.

"Lets get up Eiko... me and Ace with our mind magic can build a house in no time! Quite the understatement actually... we need to go design and then we can paint while Ace helps build more houses!" I tell her our day plans and she yawns herself up fully and sighs.

"The second the house is done- I will collect my debt" She mentions ominously and we both emerge from our tent and greet a few Hyuga who have gotten up and about.

I stretch and put my vest back on, cannot wait to sleep on a nice bed... and have a shower... and have more clothes...

Me and Eiko walk towards the place our house is being built and we see Ace is managing an entire teams worth of tools and materials.

"How did he get the materials for the house so fast...?" Eiko asks and I smirk.

"A lot of ninja where working in getting new materials and supplies last night- Rock Sage took a small cut to make an entire house... we may look like assholes for a week when we build this two story house and live in it while everyone is in tents..." I reply and she giggles.

"So. Pervert house right? Any ideas?" I ask and wiggle my eyebrows.

She giggles a little harder before thinking really hard.

"Two bathrooms... a guest one downstairs, and our one is connected to the bedroom- and has total visibility so I can see you shower from my bed..." she mumbles.

"But you have the Byakugan. And me my sight?" I reply.

"Ah! Hahaha~ nearly forgot about that... hmmm, a mirror above the bed definitely... I want dark curtains so that we can walk around the house naked... meaning we need to make the house as warm as possible... tight spaces so I can squeeze past you... Oh! Can we have a... (Whisper) sex dungeon where you can use me in all manner of ways... next to your workshop?" She giggles and laughs maniacally at all her ideas and I shake my head.

Whatever the lady wants I suppose... I order Ace to move a few support beams to accommodate for my basement to split into two.

...

"Want to hide it? Have a hidden passage to our den?" I ask and smirk at her rapidly nodding head.

Then lets get started on my loves dream home.

I approach the pit that will serve as our basement in the future before nodding to Ace and standing completely still.

Telekinetic sage mode.

My sense expand and I imbue chakra into multiple tools and materials to help Ace speed along- I turn to Eiko and stand near her as my mind goes faster then ever.

"What do I do?" She asks.

"Tell me how everyone did when I... died" I ask and she looks downcast.

...

She tells me everything she knows.

Pov: Sasuke Uchiha

...

If only I could revive Danzo... so I could kill him again...

All my eyes see is red and I focus on moving forward.

Everyone is silent as we travel back to Konoha and we all grimace as Itachi finishes his story.

"You said you spied on the Akatsuki for Pervy sage right? Why did they kill Riku... why not warp me away?" Naruto asks my brother.

"The terror of Konoha was a sore subject for the undead duo... they wanted to kill him for his bounty, tricks and fun- The masked man who joined 'recently' had decided that he was a threat that needed to be eliminated due to his Kekkai Genkai... what part of it I have no clue" Itachi explains to the best of his ability.

...

Silence befalls the group again and we continue on.

-one day later-

Pov: Riku

"So that part is fine now?" I ask.

"Yes- just make sure you don't renovate or decide to remove any walls above that second hidden workshop of yours and it should all work out fine" the architect tells me.

"So.. done!" I nod my head and smile.

"That is so- now we don't have enough materials... and Rock sage has transformed the crater and dug many holes so quickly we are ahead of schedule... we just need wood mostly... send Ace to me tomorrow and have the Rock sage take a break. We have been too quick and now most of us just have to sit down and wait" The architect lets me know and I nod as he walks away.

Eiko is inside my new house resting and Rock sage with his new found time is painting my house... Ace is helping cook for the hungry.

An Anbu approaches me.

"Lord Terror-" I cut him off.

"What? When did people start adding Lord to my name?" I ask confused.

"Well... your terrors call you that and it is much shorter then your other titles..." He explains awkwardly.

"Ah... sorry continue" I face palm and get Rock sage to lecture my crew.

"The Hokage is not waking up any time soon and some Anbu squads are left without orders, most ninja are out on missions and we don't need to help with any construction due to its speed... we were wondering if you had any jobs for us?" He asks.

...

What?

"Wait. Why me? Not Shizune or Shikaku?" I reply with concern.

"..." The Anbu remains quiet.

"Ah. You are the root leftovers aren't you? Cant get any high profile missions due to... well many reasons and no low profile left... Shizune is busy and Shikaku is lazy and has probably automated his workers already... that leaves the undecided to find something to do right?" I smirk.

"Correct Lord Terror. We feel lost without any orders... and we have been granted 'free time'..." He explains.

...

So they have vacation time they have no idea on what to do with? I guess I have nothing to do... might as well take this off of Shizune's back.

"How many are you?" I ask.

"Twenty seven root members not active Lord Terror" He declares.

I quickly ask Rock sage something.

'Did my pinecones survive the destruction?' I ask.

'Forty my Lord' Rock sage responds.

...

'Good. Spread them around Konoha'

'Of course'

"I have lost Forty Golden pinecones..." I drop my head dramatically.

"Please help me find them dear adventurer! They are lost within Konoha and I need your help!" I dramatically play my part as the npc.

"Golden Pinecones? We will be on the lookout Lord Terror" He nods his head and flickers away.

...

Don't laugh. Don't laugh.

Phew....

That will keep them busy.

I look back at my house and-

"We have found one Pinecone, here you are Lord Terror" another Anbu flickers in and out after giving me a pinecone.

...

I turn back at my house and I-

"Another Pinecone acquired" Another Anbu pops up beside me before flickering away fast.

...

Pov: Eiko.

I love this place.

The whole house is wider then it is taller and its shaped like a large rectangle.

We have a generous yard that Riku definitely spent all his good will on getting.

The roof slopes down and is two stories so the smaller second story popping out of the middle is nice.

Inside the front door is the living room immediately, no furniture yet but a few couches and small tables- the same colour scheme as before will be implemented.

The living room has a door in back that leads to hall of different places, in front of that door is another that leads to the dining room where we can see a small hole in the wall that can pass through dishes from the kitchen... behind that is the sliding door to the backyard.

The kitchen is next door down the hall and as requested is big but with multiple spaces to... reach for the spices~ nothing tight near the ovens or such though, do not want any problems there.

Next door down and to the right- next to the living room, is a bathroom for the guests- inside is the necessities.

To the left of that is our guest bedroom and further down is the staircases.

To the right is a staircase into the basement... which is cut in half and will be made into a workshop.

To the left is upstairs where we are greeted by the open hall that has three rooms to go into.

The first in front of the staircase is the small office, my office so I can work~ Inside is a secret trapdoor that will be hidden under a rug and climbing that ladder down will find ourselves in the fun side of the basement! The ladder goes just behind the stairs climbing up and is hidden away masterfully. Inside this room is set up for as many kinds of play that I could think of~

Upstairs again we head to the door left of the stairs and we enter into our bathroom that is big enough for a tub, a shower and toilet... a wide space and many places to... exercise...

Behind the stairs is our bedroom which is the biggest room in the house- a big bed... a secret hatch behind the cupboard that opens a glory hole right into the bathtub area next to it... you know, the normal things normal people have.

...

Okay maybe I went overboard and maybe Riku raised his eyebrows one too many times... I don't care! He is back and I get a home with him!

I may have fallen into my habits immediately after he got back but he has deprived me of himself for far too long! He made a promise and I intend to collect my pay!

I charge down the stairs and slam open my door to charge at Riku- never mind... what is happening?

"Another Pinecone for the Pinecone pile Lord Terror" An Anbu drops... a Pinecone into a small pile near Riku...

...

Riku scratches the back of his head and sighs.

"The final Pinecone Lord terror, what mission shall we complete next" multiple Anbu flicker in and ask.

"Dear Adventurers! You have brought me all my Pinecones! For thanks your reward will be one more bread in your serving at the food camp! Ace will provide you your reward!" Riku declares dramatically.

"We thank the Lord Terror! What is our next mission sir?" They ask again and I see Riku glance at me and back at them.

He did not plan for this zealot like behaviour to his pranks did he? This is going to be hilarious.

...

I look around curiously and decide that maybe I can wait a few hours longer.

-two days later-

Pov: Itachi Uchiha.

"What happened here..." Sakura mutters.

"No... when did this happen?" Sasuke mumbles.

"Pein... I thought by keeping Naruto out of the village he would not strike..." I mention and the others turn to me and nod.

"Who is the bastard that's living in the house while everyone is in tents...? Did they take a part of the Uchiha district?" Sasuke grumbles in annoyance.

I scan the crater that was once my home... it has workers building many houses and buildings but seems to lack the materials needed to finish them.

"Is that rubble flying?" Wakana points up.

Yes, that rubble is flying.

...

Was that not the ability of Sasuke's friend?

"Is that not Telekinetic prowess?" I ask and turn to the others.

"... maybe one of his children have grown up enough to use his kekkai genkai?" Sai questions.

"..." the group is silent as we enter into the gates of Konoha, we are approached by an Anbu who grabs the hilt of his tanto when seeing me.

"Report" the Anbu demands.

"Mission has changed and we need to report to the Hokage- Itachi Uchiha has been apprehended and will voluntarily tell vital information on the Alatsuki" Kakashi reports to the Anbu and he nods.

"Hokage is currently unavailable- you can report to Shikaku or Shizune at the main tent" The Anbu gestures to the biggest tent in the centre of Konoha.

"What happened to the village?" Sakura asks the Anbu before he leaves.

"Pein attacked. We are only alive due to the efforts of the Terror... I wasn't there but apparently his crew crashed down from the sky and he crawled out of hell..." The Anbu reports back.

"Crew?" I ask.

"His not-puppets...?" Naruto Asks.

"They are very much alive now... supposedly the Terror split his soul into pieces to bring his crew to life" The Anbu declares and we all furrow our brows.

The Anbu nods before flickering away.

...

Naruto sprints into the canyon alongside team Yamanko.

"Riku..." Sasuke takes a deep breath.

"He is the idiot who built the house isn't he?" Kakashi mutters.

"One problem at a time" Sasuke declares and we all walk to the big tent.

I make sure to henge into a standard Konoha ninja so that I will not activate any trauma of those who survived Pein's attack.

...

We find ourselves entering the tent and seeing Shizune swarmed by paperwork and ninja's receiving orders.

Naruto and team Yamanko are asking about what happened with those still in line.

I overhear their conversation.

"The Peins decimated his corpse with a big explosion and we were all staring at that scene thinking 'oh no... we are dead' and then all of a sudden..." the ninja telling the story pauses for dramatic effect.

"Then? Then?" Naruto eagerly buys into it.

"Crack, snap- as if the Pein was possessed it moved and talked and taunted... The Terror had taken one of the bodies- the one that revives and held it hostage, convinced the two strongest to leave before pushing away others and slamming his hands together in justu!" He tells dramatically.

"What Jutsu?" Naruto hypes up the story.

"One that allowed him to come back like the other Peins... unfortunately Pein got his body back and stopped the revival halfway through..." He declares solemnly.

"No... Riku..." Naruto tears up.

...? You were told he is alive Naruto? How are you so immersed?

"Then Crack! Thump! Snap! As if crawling from hell- his fingers appeared and ripped a hole in space, he suddenly lifted that invisible wall keeping him away and walked out... before the beatdown began" The ninja continues to explain how easily the Peins where dealt with by the Terror and how he wasn't even injured once from the man that could make villages into craters.

...

An exaggeration I am sure- but the village needs a hero more than anything right now.

It takes half an hour to dwindle the line and we hear various tales about the terror.

"He used to be dead, paralyzed and never to work again... but he didn't care" One says.

"He let Pein revive himself multiple times and killed them each time... to show that one shouldn't mess with Konoha" another proclaims.

"The Rock sage possessed the entirety of Konoha- spoke from the faces on the mountain and only lost so he could help revive Lord Terror" Someone declares.

These rumours and stories get out of hand and all proclaim the Terror as not the next god of shinobi... but the Terror of Shinobi- fear manifested into a living creature, someone who makes gods run and hide.

The funny thing is I have not heard one person call him a hero above others like the previous Kage... he is more revered as Konoha's weapon, like the jinchurikii but all himself- like a dragon if awoken will hunt Konoha's enemies.

Why? He saved so many? And did something no other could? They treat him as if he wasn't human..? I turn to my brother.

"Why do they not revere him as a hero of the leaf?" I ask.

"Danzo had spread many rumours about being the 'Terror'... he had done many missions to portray himself as a dangerous and horrifying individual to cross... from what I have gathered here... his Terrors had set that reputation in stone with their arrogant and uncaring words" Sasuke explains and I go silent.

...

Lets focus on providing all information I can.

Pov: Shizune

...

How long are you going to be out Lady Tsunade..?

What do I do in this situation? Itachi Uchiha has complicated so much... we just have to keep him under watch until she awakens- this is far above any power I currently have.

"Team seven will keep a close watch on Itachi Uchiha until The Hokage awakens... Team Yamato & Anko are given a break and will switch with team seven every third day of monitoring" I give my orders.

"Hey, hey! Is it true that Riku is alive!?" Naruto questions and I nod.

"He is currently keeping busy the former root members that haven't been declared trust worthy yet- he is the person who built the house exceedingly fast" I respond and watch as everyone leaves and tells the waiting ninja outside to line up inside again.

Pov: Naruto

He is alive! He is alive!

I sprint across the crater and past all the construction alongside the others who follow to see as well.

We all step up to his front door but hear him shout from the backyard.

"Oi! Tower! Not triangle! Stop slipping Mouse!" We all walk around his house and stare at the stacked and crouched tower of Anbu all struggling to not fall- they all hold golden Pinecones in each hand while balancing, Eiko sips on her tea and watches in amusement at table... did they fully furnish the house in three days?

... what Is Riku doing?

Never mind! Riku is alive! I sprint, run and jump at him, he turns and opens his arms to hug me back.

"Riku! Riku!" I shout and hug him tighter.

"Lord Terror shall we dispose of him?" One of the Anbu glares at me and fails to intimidate due to his current predicament.

"Its fine~ lower your guards and focus on not- *Crash* Never mind" the guards all fall down and groan in annoyance.

"Pinecones! Disperse! Adventures... you know what to do" Riku declares and the Pinecones fly off in many directions... the Anbu wait patiently before *woosh!* flickering after them.

Is he teaching them dog tricks?

Riku turns back to me and lets go of the hug, I land back down and scratch the back of my head with a giggle.

Riku looks behind me at everyone and raises his eyebrow at Itachi.

"So... lunch everyone? Also is he here to kill me... again?" Riku points at Itachi and Sasuke sighs.

"No. But we would enjoy a place to sit and talk..." Sasuke replies and Eiko gets up to head inside.

We all follow after her and head inside to eat! To talk! I cant believe he is alive!
