At this moment, the white glow surrounding Aizen had gradually dissipated.

After defeating Dai, someone with 'Kyōka Suigetsu' like him no longer needed to use such an overwhelming amount of chakra to fight.

Hearing Jiraiya's words, Aizen lowered his gaze slightly, his face devoid of any expression.

From afar, upon hearing Jiraiya, the elder on his shoulder, Fukasaku, was momentarily stunned and asked in a deep voice.

"Little Jiraiya, what are you thinking? Are you planning not to intervene!?"

Jiraiya slowly shook his head, his voice hoarse as he replied.

"Even if we try to stop him, we probably won't be able to bring him back. His mind is no longer here. I'm sorry, Lord Fukasaku, Lady Shima. I've troubled you both this time."

Hearing this, Fukasaku and Shima were taken aback. Fukasaku frowned, glanced at Aizen, and said solemnly.

"But if we don't stop him here, Konoha Village might suffer greatly because of him."

Jiraiya's hands hung by his sides, his gaze calm as he spoke with determination.

"I will stop him my way, with Sakumo and the others. Rest assured, my lords."

As he said this, his expression remained steady. Shima hesitated, her tone filled with worry.

"Little Jiraiya..."

Fukasaku gave Jiraiya a long, meaningful look before saying in a serious tone.

"I understand. Remember, no matter what, you are Mount Myoboku's finest disciple, Little Jiraiya!"

With that, he glanced at Shima and said firmly.

"Let's go, Shima."

"But what about Jiraiya?" Shima asked hesitantly.

Fukasaku shook his head and said gravely.

"Leave it to him. Believe in Little Jiraiya!"

The two sages leaped off Jiraiya's shoulders and landed in front of him.

As the two left his shoulders, Jiraiya's face gradually returned to normal, signaling the deactivation of Sage Mode.

Jiraiya clasped his hands together and deeply bowed to the two without saying a word.

Seeing this, the two toads exchanged a glance, nodded, and vanished into white smoke.

From afar, Aizen, who had been calmly observing Jiraiya, narrowed his eyes slightly, seemingly understanding Jiraiya's intentions.

Sure enough, when Jiraiya straightened, he looked at Aizen with a steady gaze and said slowly.

"From now on, I will stop you my way. Not to bring you back, but to protect this village."

Hearing this, Aizen remained expressionless and asked softly.

"Having deactivated Sage Mode, what do you plan to use to stop me, Jiraiya?"

Jiraiya did not get angry at Aizen's question. Instead, a trace of tenderness flashed in his eyes as if he were reminiscing about something. His expression complex, he said softly.

"I once said that I would bring you back, even at the cost of my life. But now, it seems that wish is impossible. Still, I won't let you destroy this village any further!"

With that, he slowly opened his eyes, his gaze heavy as he fixed them on Aizen and declared.

"Sōsuke, this will be our final battle!"

At that moment, Jiraiya addressed Aizen by his real name—likely for the last time.

After today, the name "Sōsuke" would be buried deep within his heart, possibly alongside himself. Yet he had no regrets.

As his words faded, Jiraiya's figure suddenly vanished.

"Swish!"

He reappeared beside Aizen, his expression serious as he completed a series of hand signs and shouted.

"Ninjutsu. Needle Jizō!"

With his words, Jiraiya's hair instantly transformed into a thick, spiked mass, surging toward Aizen.

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!"

The air was filled with the sound of countless sharp objects tearing through it, all aimed at Aizen.

Faced with the sudden assault, Aizen's expression did not change. With a casual wave of his hand—

"Clang!"

A small, transparent barrier appeared in front of him.

"Clink! Clang! Ding! Dang!"

The sounds of impact reverberated intensely, yet the transparent barrier remained untouched.

Seeing this, Jiraiya's expression darkened, and he immediately formed new hand seals.

"Ninjutsu. Needle Thousand Strikes!"

His white hair transformed into countless hardened needles, raining down toward Aizen. The barrier seemed unable to withstand such an overwhelming onslaught.

Aizen narrowed his eyes slightly, a faint smirk forming on his lips.

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!"

The white needles poured down like a torrential storm, crashing toward Aizen's location.

Seeing this, Jiraiya's pupils shrank slightly, thinking to himself.

'It worked!'

But just as the thought flashed through his mind, a chilling sensation surged behind him.

"Slash!"

A white blade silently pierced through his shoulder blade, pinning him to the ground.

"Cough! Cough!"

The sudden attack disrupted Jiraiya's technique, blood trickling from his lips.

Aizen had appeared beside him at some point, holding 'Kyōka Suigetsu', his posture tall and his gaze condescending.

"Will you still continue, Jiraiya?" Aizen asked calmly.

Despite the dire situation, Jiraiya's expression was grim. His hoarse voice carried unwavering determination.

"No matter what, I will stop you!"

Ignoring his severe injuries, he mustered all his strength to rise and attack Aizen again.

Aizen narrowed his eyes slightly, remaining still as he watched Jiraiya struggle.

Suddenly—

Two simultaneous attacks targeted Aizen from behind.

"Hatake Style Sword Technique. Flowing River!"

"Ninjutsu. Hidden Shadow Snake Hands!"

A blinding white slash, accompanied by the sound of slicing wind, shot toward Aizen. At the same time, a swarm of vividly colored snakes lunged at him.

Aizen turned to face the attacks with an indifferent expression. He seemed unfazed, standing completely still.

Both Sakumo and Orochimaru wore tense expressions, their eyes locked on Aizen.

"Slash!"

In what seemed like slow motion, fresh blood splattered in the air under the pale moonlight. Aizen's body was severed in two by Sakumo's blade!

Everyone froze in shock, staring in disbelief.

But in the next instant, their expressions stiffened.

Behind Sakumo, Aizen's towering figure slowly emerged.

Jiraiya lay on the ground, 'Kyōka Suigetsu' still embedded in him. He winced in pain and rasped.

"W-watch out..."
