I returned to the rendezvous location with Kin and Karin. During this time, I deactivated the cursed mark. The cursed mark's buff needed time to recharge after usage, and this meant that I couldn't keep it activated at all times.
There was still a lot of sunlight left, so I decided to just take the time to chill.
Although Karin's rescue may seem fast, it's already the afternoon, and I'm getting a little hungry again. Karin might even be hungrier than me because her nutrients kept being taken away by her teammate's blood sucking habits. I needed to feed a lot of food to Karin so that her body can develop healthily.
"Kin, take these needles and go kill some fish for me." I brought out Kin's Senbon Needles and ordered her to go kill some fish.
"Okay." Kin nodded and went to the river to gather some fish.
I didn't have to worry that she would do something underhanded since she was in plain sight.
While still keeping half of my attention on Kin, I turned to the girl who was sitting beside me. I began to tease and flirt with her: "Hey, Karin. When do you think you'll fall in love with me? I want to have sex with you so bad."
"Stop asking, you pervert! I'll tell you when I'm ready!" Karin placed her hands on her cheeks and looked away, steaming.
"You're so cute, Karin. Has anyone ever told you that before?" I complimented her as I started a fire.

Karin felt her heart thumping again after hearing the evil boy call her cute. When has she ever heard that before from another guy? Never.
I smiled after seeing her act like this. I'm no fool, and I can tell that she definitely has some feelings towards me. Hence, I decided to continue to capitalize on this and continued flirting with her.
"Here, Karin. Hold my hand." I extended my hand towards Karin. "This isn't too much to ask for, right?"
"...Yes, it's not too much to ask for." Karin hesitated for a moment. But, eventually, she relented and grabbed the hand that was presented to her.
The moment that her hands locked on with the evil boy, she almost caved in and said that she loves him. But thinking about the sex made her think twice. Emotionally, she's not ready for it yet.
"Doesn't this feel nice, Karin?" I said softly.
"Yeah…" Karin nodded and held my hand tighter.
"So are you in love with me now? You should know that holding hands feels good, but having a penis inside of you will feel better." I mentioned it once again to mess with Karin.

After this exchange, we just sat there holding hands. Like everything else, flirting had to be done in moderation. Doing too much may bring a negative effect instead of a positive one.
We bathed in the warmth of the fire as we watched Kin catch fish after fish. We could feel the heat from the flames on our faces and the smell of the burning wood filled the air.
"Is six enough…?" Kin came to the fire while holding six fishes.
"Yes, they're enough. Now go wash your hands and gut them. After that, go get some green sticks to roast them. You saw how it was done before. After that, gather some water." I gave the order, and Kin compiled like an obedient little slave.
"Was she that bad of an enemy that you have to treat her like that?" Karin asked the burning question from her head.
"Well, yes. I have a girl in my team who is going to be a part of my official harem, and Kin was pulling her hair and mistreating her. I can't tolerate it when my girls are mistreated, you know?" I briefly explained the reason to Karin.
"I… I see." Karin nodded.
The scene became quiet for a moment.
Karin and I watched as Kin went back and forth, preparing the meal.
She poked the fishes with some green and sturdy branches and laid them next to the fire. She also gathered some water in some bamboo and boiled it.
"I'll look after the roasting fish." I said to Kin. I was getting a bit bored just sitting and doing nothing.
"Alright…" Kin nodded and sat down next to the fire.
"You shouldn't just relax and do nothing, though! Turn to the side and masturbate!"
"!?" Kin was shocked… but as usual, she complied.
While turning the fish around, I suddenly thought of something.
Don't I have the Intermediate Cooking skill from Tsunami and Ayame? How come I don't feel any difference in my cooking?
Just as I thought about that, a notification popped up.

Anyways, I know now that I should ask more questions to the system.
'Activate Cooking Skill.' I navigated the holographic UI panel and tested the cooking skill.
My body began to move by itself while I watched like a bystander. I felt that I could disable this automatic movement at any time, but I decided not to since I wanted to see the skill's capabilities.
Unlike before where I was just turning the fishes on a whim, the process seems more systematic now.
The turning of the fish had a rhythm, and it's being cooked evenly on all sides.
"Shadow clone jutsu," My body that's moving by itself suddenly made a shadow clone, much to my amazement.
If I suddenly get an automatic fighting skill that can utilize all of my skills, how cool will that be? It'll be like I'm hacking.
While my automatic body continued to roast, my shadow clone went into the forest and picked up some herbs.
This knowledge of herbs seems to have appeared when I activated the cooking skill.
After obtaining the herbs, the shadow clone came back and began to mix the herbs together. The shadow clone then placed the herb into a bamboo cup and poured some boiling water into it before stirring it up. This created an amazing aroma in the air.
This smell reminded me of Tsunami's cooking back when the team was living in their house.
After gaining her skill, I most likely also inherited her fish cooking recipe. Considering that Tsunami lives in a fish-filled location, she must've had tons of practice with cooking fish.
Knowledge of what the shadow clone is doing appeared in my head.
As it seems, the shadow clone is creating a dipping sauce for the fish.

The ending result is that the fish roast came out golden brown. There's also the aromatic herb mix dipping sauce. It may not be the best since we're in the wilderness, but the improved taste is praiseworthy.
I quickly shared them with Karin.
… I also stopped Kin from masturbating and told her to go wash her hand before coming back to eat.
I still stand by my principle that a farm animal needs to be fed.
