Naruto: Starting with Snatching the Mangekyō Sharingan

As the leader of the Uchiha clan, Madara Uchiha naturally held all the clan's secrets. It wasn't surprising that he had a method to restore his vitality.

"Maybe… maybe the masked man really is Madara Uchiha," Hiruzen mused aloud. "If he used Izanagi during his battle with the First Hokage, Hashirama, it could explain how he survived. He might have been hiding in the shadows ever since, biding his time..."

This thought gnawed at Hiruzen. The more he pondered, the more plausible it seemed.

"It would also explain why he only uses Sharingan-based techniques and avoids employing Susanoo. If one of his eyes is blind, he wouldn't be able to manifest it…"

The hypothesis took root in his mind like wildfire. "Could the Uchiha clan still have ties to Madara?"

But as quickly as the idea surfaced, Hiruzen dismissed it. "No, that's unlikely. If they were truly colluding, the Nine-Tails wouldn't have been left behind that night…"

Even so, the suspicion lingered, refusing to dissipate. Despite his rationalizations, the possibility of collusion was too significant to ignore.

"Even if the likelihood is slim, I must be vigilant. I should summon Danzo and Orochimaru back to the village."

After deliberating, Hiruzen issued the order, sending it from his office to the borders.

Currently, the conflicts along the Fire Country's borders with the Land of Earth and the Land of Water had stabilized. There was no need for high-caliber shinobi like Danzo and Orochimaru to remain stationed there.

"Shisui, while talented, is still an Uchiha. His loyalty to the clan outweighs his loyalty to the village. I cannot trust him fully." Hiruzen reflected grimly.

Meanwhile, in Akira's private laboratory, several transparent tanks were lined up, each filled with a pale green liquid.

Within the tanks floated three cloned bodies.

One was cloned from Uchiha Obito, another from Hashirama Senju, and the third… from Hyuga Yuta, the former owner of a Byakugan captured during the Third Shinobi War.

Each body was covered in intricate black sealing runes, designed to prevent the clones from developing consciousness.

The clock was ticking. Only four years remained until Konoha Year 56, the year of the next solar eclipse—a vital celestial event for performing the Chimera Technique Ritual.

Initially, Akira had planned to complete the ritual during this eclipse to achieve a qualitative leap in his power. But the unexpected developments of recent years had altered his plans.

Not only had he eliminated Uchiha Obito, acquiring dual Kamui Mangekyō Sharingan in the process, but he had also successfully transplanted Hashirama's cells. His strength had skyrocketed, placing him among the top-tier shinobi in the ninja world.

Given his newfound power, Akira felt less urgency to complete the ritual. He could even afford to wait until the next solar eclipse if necessary.

What truly intrigued him now was the potential to further refine his capabilities. If he could awaken his own Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan by merging with clones of exceptional compatibility, his strength would once again leap forward.

The success of such a fusion, however, depended on the quality and compatibility of the materials used.

Akira stroked his chin thoughtfully. "The Chimera Technique Ritual can only be performed once. If I want the best results, I need to choose the fusion materials carefully. My previous selections now seem… lacking."

His initial choices—Hashirama's cells, a Byakugan from the Hyuga clan, the Uzumaki clan's vitality, the Kaguya clan's genetic traits, and Jugo's Sage Body—had been impressive at the time. But with his current resources, he could aim higher.

"If the fusion materials are of the highest quality and perfectly compatible, could the Chimera Technique Ritual elevate me to Six Paths-level strength… or beyond?" The thought sent a thrill through Akira.

In the ninja world, methods to achieve Six Paths-level power were rare. Becoming a Ten-Tails Jinchūriki or receiving power directly from Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki were the only confirmed paths. But Akira wasn't ready to rely on such uncertain means.

Unlocking the Rinnegan or Tenseigan alone wouldn't guarantee reaching that level. They were stepping stones, close to the threshold but not quite crossing it. Perhaps combining such powers with enhancements like Sage Mode or Kurama's chakra link could bridge the gap.

"Hashirama's clone is essential—he represents the pinnacle of Yang Release. If I awaken my own Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan, I'll have the ultimate Yin Release. The fusion of Yin and Yang… it could yield unprecedented results."

His gaze shifted to the Hyuga clone. "But a mere Byakugan isn't enough anymore. With my current abilities, obtaining a Tenseigan might be possible. I should prioritize exploring that avenue…"

The Tenseigan, equivalent to the Rinnegan in power, possessed devastating offensive capabilities and unique abilities, such as the Tenseigan Chakra Mode.

Unlike the arduous process of awakening the Rinnegan, which required merging the chakras of Asura and Indra, the Tenseigan only needed the fusion of a Hyuga's Byakugan with the chakra of the Ōtsutsuki clan.

"It's time to make adjustments," Akira murmured, a faint smirk tugging at his lips. "With the right materials, even the heavens might tremble at my power."
