Naruto’s Strongest Twin - The Battle Hungry Saiyan (DBZ Dragon Ball)

Chapter 90: 90. A Final Confrontation 3

The dust of battle still lingered in the air as the shinobi regrouped at the center of the battlefield. Naruto, Sasuke, and Anon stood at the forefront, their eyes scanning the horizon for any lingering signs of the enemy. The dark energy that had once filled the area was now gone, but the tension in the air had not fully dissipated. They knew this was just the beginning.

Sakura appeared from the shadows, her hands glowing faintly as she healed the remaining wounds of the injured shinobi. Her face was set in a determined expression, but there was a flicker of exhaustion in her eyes. "That attack was unlike anything we've faced before. If there are more like them, we'll need to be ready."

Naruto nodded, his usual playful grin absent as the weight of their situation settled on him. " They're getting stronger. Every time we beat one of these enemies, it feels like the next wave is even worse." He clenched his fists, his resolve hardening with each passing moment. " But we'll keep fighting. We always have."

Sasuke's voice cut through the quiet tension. " We can't afford to be complacent. This was only one of their forces, and they managed to cause enough disruption to drain energy from the entire village. If the next wave is even more organized, we could be overwhelmed."

Anon, still silent, gazed off into the distance. His mind was working through the events of the battle, analyzing every detail. His Void energy had managed to collapse the swirling dark mass, but it had taken more effort than he had anticipated. He could feel that something was still off, an undercurrent of power that had not fully left with the defeat of their enemies. He knew the next confrontation would test all of them even further.

"We need to start preparing now," Anon said, his voice calm but carrying a sense of finality. "The next attack won't be so easily stopped. Our enemies will adapt, just like we do. We need to find their origin and stop this at the source, or this war will never end."

Naruto ran a hand through his hair, looking over at Anon. " Right. But where do we even begin? The rifts—they're opening at random, and these enemies are like nothing we've dealt with before."

Sasuke narrowed his eyes. " We've dealt with convergence energy before, but something about this feels different. We need intel—any clue about their origin or their endgame."

Sakura joined them, her hands resting at her sides after finishing her healing. " The village is going to need more help if we're to survive the next attack. It's not just us anymore—the new generation is depending on us to teach them how to master these new forms of energy."

Naruto's face brightened for a moment, thinking of Boruto and the other younger shinobi who had been training relentlessly under the guidance of the Five Eternal Hokage. " Boruto and the others are getting stronger every day. They've mastered more of the Time energy than I thought they could so quickly. But I agree—they'll need more training if we want to stand a chance in this war."

Anon finally spoke up again, his voice as low and steady as ever. " There's something else. In the last moments of the fight, I felt a ripple—like another presence beyond the dark leader. I don't think they're operating alone. Someone, or something, is pulling the strings."

Sasuke glanced at Anon, his eyes narrowing. " You're saying there's a bigger force behind all of this?"

Anon nodded. " Yes. The enemies we've faced are just the first wave. I can feel it. There's someone else orchestrating this war from the shadows."

The gravity of Anon's words settled over the group, and Naruto crossed his arms, his expression grim. " Then we need to figure out who it is. If they're behind all this, then they're the key to stopping the convergence from tearing our world apart."

Sakura stepped forward. " We need to gather the other teams and prepare them for what's coming. The new generation needs to be ready—not just to defend the village, but to be part of the offense. We're going to need every capable shinobi in the fight."

Naruto nodded, his determination solidifying. " Then let's get to it. We'll push harder, train longer. We don't have time to waste anymore. Everyone needs to be ready for the next wave, and we'll need to find out where the enemy is hiding."

Just as they were about to leave, Minato appeared, his body radiating with the calm authority of the Fourth Hokage. His gaze moved between Naruto, Sasuke, Anon, and Sakura, reading the tension in their faces.

"The next phase has already begun," Minato said, his voice carrying an air of urgency. " I've been tracking the convergence points, and there's another rift forming near the borders of the Hidden Stone Village. It's not fully open yet, but it will be soon."

Naruto's face grew serious as he turned to his father. " Another attack? That soon?"

Minato nodded. " Yes. And this one seems larger than the last. We need to act quickly, or the Hidden Stone Village could be lost."

Anon, ever the tactician, spoke up. " If this rift is larger, then we might be able to use it to track down the source of these attacks. We could finally get some answers."

Minato's expression was grim but determined. " That's the plan. But we'll need the strongest shinobi we have to contain the threat and stop the rift from fully opening. If it does, we might not be able to close it."

Sasuke stepped forward, his eyes focused. " We'll go. Naruto, Anon, and I will take the lead. Sakura, you should organize the others and prepare them for the next round of attacks. The new generation will need your guidance."

Sakura nodded, her resolve firm. " I'll make sure they're ready. But be careful—this could be a trap. If the enemy is leading us toward these rifts, they could be trying to draw us into their territory."

Naruto smirked, his old bravado returning for a moment. " Then we'll just give them a fight they won't forget."

Minato placed a hand on Naruto's shoulder, his eyes filled with both pride and concern. " Be careful, all of you. This fight is unlike anything we've faced before, and the enemy is unpredictable. But I have faith in you. We all do."

The team nodded in unison, their determination clear. The battles ahead would be dangerous, but they knew they were the only ones who could stop the rifts from spreading and tearing their world apart.

"Let's go," Naruto said, his voice filled with resolve as they prepared to move out. "We've got a rift to close and an enemy to find."
