One Piece: General Blue

Chapter 117: Chapter 117: Special Paramecia-Type – Blood-Blood Fruit

Bullets packed with massive kinetic energy riddled Aristo's towering body, leaving it full of holes and in tatters. His eyes were pierced by bullets, and the flesh around his neck was torn apart.

His clothing was shredded with holes, and large, gaping wounds appeared on his chest and abdomen.

"Direct hit! What's going on? Isn't he the infamous Supernova pirate with a bounty of 360 million Beli? How could he be so easily struck down?"

The soldiers who fired the shots stared wide-eyed in disbelief.

Being stationed at Sabaody Archipelago, they were no strangers to dealing with pirates boasting significant bounties.

Generally, handling any pirate with a bounty exceeding 50 million Beli was already a challenge.

Those with bounties over 100 million Beli were often wielders of bizarre powers or master swordsmen.

As for someone like Avenger Aristo, with a bounty surpassing 300 million Beli, it made no sense for him to be so effortlessly taken down.

"Hmph! This is what happens when arrogance leads to carelessness, Avenger Aristo!"

A Marine Rear Admiral lit a cigar and scoffed with a sneer.

"Fools! Stay on guard! He's a Devil Fruit user!"

Suddenly, a loud voice boomed from the balcony of the base behind them—it was Vice Admiral Lawrence shouting.

"A Devil Fruit user?" The officers on the ground felt a jolt of alarm but remained puzzled.

"Even if he is a Devil Fruit user, after taking that many bullets and being injured like this, he's surely as good as dead, right?"

"Unless... he's a Logia-type user. But that can't be, can it? Logia fruits are incredibly rare."

With Lawrence's warning, the previously relaxed Marines quickly reloaded their weapons, preparing for another round of fire.

"So much pain... unbearable pain."

In Aristo's one remaining eye, the image of the Marine soldiers in blue and white uniforms reflected back.

A grotesque expression of agony slowly spread across his battered face.

"The pain!"

He dropped the rapier in his hand and raised his equally shattered hands to clutch his head, letting out a soul-wrenching scream.

"It hurts! It hurts so much!"

As he cried out, tears streamed from his sole eye.

"Hurry! Reload! Shoot again! There's something off about this guy! Officers, follow me—close combat!"

A Marine Rear Admiral shouted, charging first with a broadsword in hand toward Aristo, who was clutching his head and crying out in pain.

Aristo slowly lifted his gaze, his eye, tinted red with tears, catching sight of the dozen Marine officers rushing toward him, their justice cloaks billowing behind them.

"Every time I see that uniform, my heart and my soul become as wounded and broken as my body is now."

"Drip."

"Drip."

Thick blood began to trickle from Aristo's body, dripping onto the ground.

The crimson liquid started falling faster and in greater quantities.

The dripping sound swiftly became a gurgling flow.

Then it turned into the sound of a babbling stream.

Finally, it erupted into the roar of crashing waves.

"Splash!"

Standing in the middle of the field, Aristo's blood gushed wildly from the gaping wounds across his body.

The scarlet blood, reeking of an overpowering metallic scent, surged like a tidal wave, engulfing the hundreds of terrified Marine soldiers in an instant.

"What is this? How does this guy's body contain so much blood...?"

Stepping on the air with Moon Walk to dodge the incoming blood-red tsunami, the officers showed expressions of shock and confusion on their faces.

"Make sure not to get touched by that blood! Anyone without Haki, stay away immediately! That guy has a special Paramecia ability."

"Paramecia, Blood-Blood Fruit, allows him to control the blood within all living beings and even turn himself into a source of blood! As long as his blood doesn't run out, he can't be killed!"

Swoosh!

As if responding to Lawrence's explanation, the crimson tide surging within the base seemed to have a soul of its own. It surged skyward in an instant, crashing down towards the shocked and furious Marine officers.

Some tried to dodge.

At that moment, a tendril of blood coiled around and delivered the rapier back to Aristo's hand.

He swung the sword through the air.

"Slash!"

A crimson gleam cleaved through the sky, cutting through the skin of five or six Rear Admirals and Commodores.

As their skin was torn by the sword's energy, these formidable officers immediately began to gush blood, their bodies rapidly deflating like punctured water bags and collapsing lifelessly.

In the distance, Lawrence's figure moved as he leaped to the top of the base.

He was already planning to distance himself from the scene.

Although Lawrence had full confidence in his own strength, there was no reason to face that madman head-on.

Holding a Den Den Mushi, he was contacting the World Government's branch at Base 69.

Not Marine Headquarters.

After all, Marineford was still a significant distance away.

Even though Sengoku had said reinforcements were en route to capture the Aristo brothers, unless it was an Admiral, there was no one who could take down someone like Aristo in an instant.

Lawrence wasn't foolish enough to stay and wait for backup to arrive.

Naturally, his first move was to contact the closest possible assistance.

As he ascended into the air with Geppo (Moonwalk), he dialed the Den Den Mushi, attempting to reach the World Government's contacts.

However, to Lawrence's frustration, the Den Den Mushi in his hand showed no response no matter how many times he tried dialing.

The creature blinked its confused eyes, seemingly unable to find a signal.

"What's going on? Why is there no signal?"

Furious, Lawrence nearly crushed the useless Den Den Mushi in his hand.

He glanced back at the base.

With just one look, a chill ran down his spine. Without a second thought, he turned around and accelerated at full speed, racing away from the scene.

Within the base, only Aristo's towering figure remained, standing alone.

The immense blood tide was reversing, streaming back into the gaping wounds across his body.

As the blood returned, the countless holes on his body healed rapidly, returning him to his original, unscathed state.

It resembled the regenerative power of a Logia-type user.

Scattered across the ground before him were hundreds of dried, mummified corpses, including over a dozen Marine officers.

Aristo's expression returned to cold indifference as he leaped forward like a great bird, pursuing the fleeing Vice Admiral Lawrence.

Neither of them noticed the silver-haired boy hovering in the canopy of the Yarukiman Mangrove, watching the gruesome scene below with an equally cold expression.

Within a radius of several kilometers, faint electric arcs flickered intermittently, emitting a subtle crackling sound.
