Kaya vs. Miss Merry Christmas Battlefield
At this moment, Miss Merry Christmas had transformed into a mole woman, and numerous mole tunnels dotted the desert landscape.
Whoosh!
From one of the nearby tunnels, the mole woman sprang out, her sharp claws swiping viciously at Kaya.
But as the mole woman lunged, Kaya's Observation Haki flared, sensing and locking onto her movements.
In the next instant, Kaya thrust her index finger forward, colliding with the mole woman's claws.
"Finger Pistol!"
Clang! Clang!
The sharp sound of impact rang out as Kaya's Finger Pistol clashed with the mole woman's deadly claws.
Splash!
Blood sprayed from both of their arms.
"Shave!"
Whoosh!
Kaya vanished from her spot, reappearing in a safer area.
"Cure!"
With a soft glow from her other hand, warm yellow light enveloped her wounded arm. Almost instantly, the wound healed, scabbing over and falling away, leaving her skin unscarred.
"There's such a difference in raw strength…" Kaya thought, her eyes narrowing as she observed the mole woman.
"This must be the power of a Zoan Devil Fruit," she mused, realizing just how formidable Miss Merry Christmas was. Despite Kaya's enhanced physical capabilities, thanks to Ace's help, she was still no match for the brute strength of a Zoan user.
"You...! Your fingers are too strong, and you heal instantly too!" Miss Merry Christmas seethed, furious.
She cursed under her breath, angered by the death of her partner, Mr. 4. If he were still alive, they'd make an unstoppable team.
"I'm so angry! You stupid, stupid idiot!" the mole woman yelled, her large body diving headfirst into one of her tunnels.
Kaya didn't let her guard down. Her eyes gleamed as she expanded her Observation Haki, covering every tunnel around her.
Boom!
The mole woman shot out from another hole nearby.
Clang!
Kaya's Finger Pistol met her claws once again.
But this time, the mole woman quickly retreated back into her tunnel after the strike.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!
Miss Merry Christmas attacked relentlessly, darting in and out of her tunnels, her claws stabbing at Kaya from every direction.
"Finger Pistol – Combo!"
Kaya's fingers danced in front of her, intercepting each attack with precision, using her Observation Haki to anticipate every move.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Both Kaya and the mole woman were accumulating more and more injuries. Kaya could feel her strength waning as her body bled from multiple wounds.
"If I don't heal soon, I'll be in serious trouble," Kaya thought, anxiety creeping in.
The relentless attacks gave her no time to recover, and the more she bled, the weaker she became. Miss Merry Christmas, on the other hand, seemed to gain the upper hand.
Kaya's vision blurred from blood loss.
"Ace… Am I going to lose?" Kaya bit her lip, unwilling to accept defeat. Memories of her frail, sickly past flashed before her eyes. She remembered how, for most of her life, even walking was a struggle. But then Ace had come into her life, saving her from Kuro's clutches and giving her a new purpose.
She had trained hard to become stronger, pushing her frail body to the limit, all for Ace. She endured the pain of learning the Six Styles, knowing that with each step forward, she could help him.
So she refused to give up now.
As her thoughts drifted, the lucky charm Ace had given her glowed faintly around her neck.
"Kaya…"
In her mind, she heard Ace's voice, clear as day.
She remembered his smile, and how he had once taught her a secret technique.
"This is the ultimate technique of the Six Powers, the Six King Gun. But your body isn't quite ready for it yet, Kaya. It's incredibly powerful but also incredibly taxing on the body."
Kaya recalled Ace's gentle smile, how he lovingly tapped her nose back then.
She had trained tirelessly since that day, determined to master the Six King Gun, even though she wasn't yet strong enough.
"But remember, Kaya, the true key to using the Six King Gun lies in your belief." Ace had told her.
"If your resolve is strong enough, you can surpass your body's limitations. With the Healing Fruit, you have a unique advantage. You can push beyond your natural limits."
Ace's words echoed in her mind.
Belief.
Belief was the key to unlocking her true strength.
Kaya's vision cleared, her eyes burning with renewed determination.
Whoosh!
"This will end it!"
Miss Merry Christmas roared, her body launching out of a tunnel for one final, devastating blow.
"Mole Paw Strike!"
The mole woman's right claw descended with all her strength, aiming to crush Kaya.
"I… am…"
Kaya's hands came together, fists clenched tightly.
"!!!"
Her eyes snapped open, fierce and resolute.
"I am the ship's doctor of Portgas D. Ace!"
With a powerful cry, Kaya thrust her fists forward.
"Six King Gun!"
Boom!
Crack!
"Y-you…"
Miss Merry Christmas's body stopped mid-attack, her eyes widening in shock. The impact from Kaya's punch reverberated through her, shattering bones and destroying her organs.
She tried to speak, but nothing came out. Only blood and bits of her broken insides dribbled from her mouth.
Thud.
Miss Merry Christmas collapsed to the ground, lifeless.
Panting heavily, Kaya clutched the lucky charm Ace had given her, smiling softly through the blood and scars that marred her face.
"Ace… I did it…" she whispered, her beautiful eyes narrowing as she smiled like an angel, her love for Ace burning bright within her heart.
Kaya held the lucky charm Ace had given her tightly, a gentle smile spreading across her face as her beautiful eyes narrowed with contentment.
Her tenderness blooms only for one person.

Meanwhile, on another part of the battlefield, Nami faced off against Miss Doublefinger.
"Sea Urchin Thorns!"
In an instant, Miss Doublefinger's hair transformed into sharp thorns, thrusting toward Nami.
"Gah!"
Nami's eyes widened in horror as the thorns pierced her body—but then, her figure flickered and twisted, vanishing into thin air.
"That trick again?!" Miss Doublefinger snarled, her eyes darting toward Nami, who reappeared a short distance away.
"Tailor's Thorn!"
Thorns shot out from Miss Doublefinger's high heels as she quickly moved toward Nami.
Whoosh!
Nami's body shimmered and disappeared once more, a shadow left in her place.
Gasping for breath, Nami's real body appeared nearby. She was growing tired.
"She's not giving me any time to summon the thunderstorm…" Nami thought, her heart heavy.
Creating a thunderstorm required about a minute of preparation time, and Miss Doublefinger was clearly not going to give her that kind of opening.
"Your weapon is interesting," Miss Doublefinger sneered, her expression twisting into something monstrous, "but how long can it last? Soon, I'll pierce you, piece by piece, with my thorns!"
"Thorn Ball!"
Miss Doublefinger rolled her body into a huge spiked ball and launched herself toward Nami.
"Mirage!"
Nami shouted, and dozens of phantoms of herself suddenly appeared across the battlefield.
But Miss Doublefinger's rolling thorn attack was relentless, tearing through each of the mirages one by one.
Clang!
At last, Nami's Clima-Tact clashed with the thorn ball, the force of the impact echoing.
"I've found you, little girl." Miss Doublefinger smiled sinisterly.
Nami gritted her teeth, struggling to hold her ground as the Clima-Tact trembled under the pressure.
"Thorn Mace!"
Miss Doublefinger's arms transformed into large, spiked maces, and with a mighty swing, she brought them crashing down toward Nami.
Nami's Observation Haki sensed the attack, but her body couldn't move fast enough to evade. The mace struck her, sending her sprawling into the sand.
"I told you, I'll pierce you with thorns until there's nothing left of you!" Miss Doublefinger cackled, her twisted smile growing wider.
Nami lay in the sand, clutching her Clima-Tact, her breaths coming in ragged gasps.
"Have I… reached my limit?" she thought, feeling the sharp pain radiating through her body, a wave of helplessness washing over her.
Just then, the lucky charm around her neck flickered.
"Nami…"
Ace's voice echoed in her mind, and she remembered their training sessions.
Ace had always looked at her with that doting smile, encouraging her even when she doubted herself.
"I'm not really built for head-to-head battles," Nami had once said.
Ace had only smiled, ruffling her hair. "You may not think you're suited for fighting, but you're braver than anyone I know. You've carried the weight of your entire village on your shoulders since you were a child. You don't need brute strength—your wisdom is your greatest weapon. You're my navigator, Nami, and I believe in you."
Ace's words reignited something within her.
"Yes… I'm your navigator, Ace…"
Her eyes sharpened with resolve.
"Ace!" Nami whispered, clenching the Clima-Tact as she struggled to her feet.
Suddenly, her hand paused as she touched the wet sand beneath her. Her eyes flicked to the sky, and an idea flashed in her mind.
"The desert… the temperature is dropping…" Nami realized. As the sun set, the air cooled rapidly, causing moisture to gather in the sand.
Miss Doublefinger noticed Nami had gone still. "What's the matter? Ready to give up? Good. Time to finish you off!"
She charged forward, her hands morphing into spiked weapons, preparing for the final blow.
"Thorn Surge!"
With a twisted grin, Miss Doublefinger's body swelled grotesquely, becoming stronger and more deformed as she readied her attack.
But as she swung down, Nami's body vanished into a shadow once again.
"This trick again?!" Miss Doublefinger spat in frustration.
But Nami was calm now, her eyes glimmering with confidence.
"Trick? No, this isn't a trick."
With a flick of her Clima-Tact, Nami smiled.
"This is weather."
Suddenly, the rapid cooling of the sand created a dense mist that rose from the ground, blanketing the battlefield in fog.
"Hmph! Hiding again?!" Miss Doublefinger scoffed, her voice filled with contempt. "Do you really think you can win by running away?"
Nami's voice echoed from the mist. "Hide? No, not this time." Her Clima-Tact spun in her hands, gathering the moisture in the air. Above them, a faint raincloud began to form.
Miss Doublefinger, growing impatient, rushed through the fog toward Nami, her face contorted with anger. "Enough of your toys! I'm going to crush you!"
Nami's expression darkened for a moment. "Toys? This is the weapon Ace made just for me."
With a fierce glare, she raised her Clima-Tact, and a flash of yellow light shot into the raincloud overhead.
"Thunderstorm—Thunder Strike!"
A massive thunderbolt exploded from the cloud, striking Miss Doublefinger directly.
"Gaaah!!!" Miss Doublefinger screamed as the lightning engulfed her, the sheer voltage sending her body into violent spasms. Smoke rose from her charred form as she collapsed to the ground, defeated.
Nami stood tall, breathing heavily but victorious. She clutched her Clima-Tact in one hand and the lucky charm Ace had given her in the other.
With a quiet but proud voice, she declared, "I am the navigator of the Portgas D. Ace Pirates. I can control the weather."
Miss Doublefinger's charred body lay motionless on the battlefield as Nami stood, triumphant.
