One Piece: Legendary Family

Chapter 15: What to Do?

Chapter 15: What to Do?

Ivan, dressed in a tight black suit with a black cape bearing the Hiberfield family symbol of "Peace and Protection" on the back.

Charlotte's right eyelid twitched weakly, feeling somewhat speechless. What is this? At first glance, he looks like a thug in a suit! No doubt, this design and idea were the work of the clever Ivan.

He created the unique style of suited thugs for the family's officers, elite, and ordinary members, with capes for officers only.

Seeing Ivan in his extravagant suit, Charlotte couldn't help but laugh. "Report, boss Charlotte, there are updates about the architect you were looking for."

Charlotte perked up at this and put aside other thoughts.

"Is the designer from Gastronomic City on the Island, Zaga Lido, there?"

Hearing Ivan's reply, Charlotte slightly furrowed her brow. That's a bit tricky!

Gastronomic City on the Island is a huge restaurant city built on a small island. Its grand and vast architectural style showcases Zaga Lido's talent and capability. Known for its variety of foods and unique culinary features.

In the New World, its influence is considerable, attracting pirates from all parts to taste the food, along with many trade convoys and other forces gathering there. It is said to be chaotic and complex.

The owner of this Gastronomic City on the Island is called Domi Sys, captain of the Gourmet Pirate, with a bounty of 770 million berries, known as the "King of Gastronomy."

To be able to maintain a stable base in the New World and own such a large industry, his strength is undoubtedly impressive. Traveling to Gastronomic City on the Island involved certain risks. Charlotte's cautious nature came into play.

She thought about the various legends surrounding Gastronomic City on the Island.

There didn't seem to be any negative stories. It appeared to be a purely gastronomic city, and as long as she behaved, there shouldn't be any problems. Besides, she was going there to find someone, not to fight.

So, there should, maybe, probably, be no problem.

And the reason she didn't use maritime transport channels for this, Charlotte had her reasons. While she couldn't hide the news of the fortress being built, she couldn't reveal the internal design of the fortress. Many of her important plans would be in the fortress, so she needed an independent designer to complete the project.

The best solution was to make him the exclusive architect of the Hiberfield family. He could keep the fortress's internal secrets.

Safety first, caution is paramount. That's Charlotte's life motto, her ultimate wisdom. And given the current state, architects like that were extremely rare.

Regarding other architects, she had no information at all. There was no way around it.

"Ivan, prepare the ship, we leave as soon as possible."

"Yes, boss Charlotte." Ivan bowed slightly and hurried to make the preparations. Charlotte closed her eyes to think.

This time, Beta would go with her, along with many of the crew members she had trained, Lina, and some from the group of servants. She was taking Lina because she had noticed that Lina had trained hard and mastered techniques like Soru and Geppo of the Rokushiki. Even Charlotte had to admire Lina's talent and potential.

The giant Dahl and Ivan would stay to take care of everything.

She wouldn't be gone for long.

Ah, still missing people! ... After ten days of sailing, for Charlotte, who had barely been out to sea, it was torture.

The number of pirates was overwhelming.

Charlotte, dressed in a black suit and a dark red shirt, with a well-tailored wide cape, wore a look of disgust, longing for her bed at home.

She couldn't understand it! What's fun about going out to sea? Clearly, the mindset of people in the pirate world isn't normal. "Boss Charlotte."

The loud voice of Beta snapped Charlotte back to reality.

With a bored expression, Charlotte said, "What's up now, Beta? Didn't I tell you to take care of the pirates attacking us?"

"No, boss Charlotte, I found an unconscious person in the wreckage of a destroyed ship. I rescued him!

" Hmm... "Rescue someone... well, go ahead then!" Charlotte wasn't the type to let someone die.

However, she quickly realized. Rescuing someone at sea isn't something you do blindly. What if he was a wicked pirate like Blackbeard? Charlotte was annoyed with herself for her lack of prudence at sea.

"Take me to see him." Soon, in the infirmary.

Charlotte blatantly looked at the unconscious young man.

With blonde hair, dressed in a military uniform, white gloves, and a military badge on his neck, with an army emblem on the left arm of his uniform.

Charlotte felt strangely familiar! Quickly, her memories returned. She knew who he was.

Her eyes suddenly changed. This must be the young man known as "Demon Heir," Douglas Bullet. With a young face, almost two meters tall, the boy was there, and Charlotte was stunned.

It was the year 1491 of the maritime calendar, just one year before Douglas Bullet would join Gol D. Roger's crew.

Charlotte stroked her chin. That meant Douglas Bullet was only 14 years old and had just destroyed his country and army following the betrayal of his commander, Douglas, being pursued by the World Government.

Now, he had already eaten the Paramecia-class Devil Fruit, the Combine Fruit, at 13 years old.

Charlotte had mixed feelings about Douglas Bullet. The name originated from the army where he served as a child. The young soldiers were called "Bullet's Bullets," and the unit was named Douglas. After many betrayals and persecutions, he lost trust in others.

At 15 years old, in 1492 of the maritime calendar, he met Roger's crew, challenged them, and was defeated, joining the crew.

Sadly, upon learning of Roger's terminal illness, he suffered a great blow. Years later, after learning that Roger was executed, he lost his purpose and began to act violently at sea.

Douglas Bullet led a life that could be considered tragic. It also showed the chaos of the pirate world, where the war never ceased, and civilians were always the most affected.

If Douglas Bullet had received proper guidance and treatment, he might not have turned into such a violent and cruel being. Charlotte frowned.

Now, Douglas Bullet was at a volatile moment. What to do?

 That was the problem.
